Teewhy2: Thanks man. I'll get back to you soon. My other concerns are: 1. How tight and solid is the grief of this material to the building? Can it withstand strong winds? 2:. How long can polystyrene parapet stand alone before roofing. Must the building be roofed soon after its installation? 3. Apart from parapet, slabs and ceiling on what other parts of a building can the material be used? |

Jalofun: sir, Is this measurements in feet or meters and also is the building a perfect square or rectangle as this will affect the calculation of the linear meters. if you have your architectural drawings, kindly send to frugesarenaltd@gmail.com so that we make an estimated cost and send to you. Muyi002: sir, am sorry but I don't deal with concrete parapet, you can speak with saydfact he is good with estimates. also he will need the roof plan or upper floor plan as they need to consider if building has recess. 1 Like |

It's been a while we posted new jobs, we try not to post just the usual roof parapet. luckily a client contacted us that he needs to fill up a stage they want to cast with concrete but don't want to use rubles to fill it up because of the weight it is going to have on the building which wasn't planned on the foundation. The stage is going to be on a rooftop of a 2 storey building and diameter to be filled is about 10 m sqr with height of 300 mm.

Let's pepper our eyes with more pictures from the pepper dem gang. 1) offloading and supply of polystyrene sheet. 2-4) clients installing our polystyrene on the area to fill up. before casting the top of the stage/bar.

Teewhy2: nice one Teewhy2 - hope we'll get to see the completed works also...... We had similar use for polystyrene at a building in Ogun State where the gallery was to be filled with same material to reduce weight as the structural engineer didn't design for that weight in mass concrete... well done. |
