Hello Gurus in the house;

Please I got admitted to Naigara College and I want to pay my school fees on monday;

I hope the have good refund policy should incase the VISA doesn't go through and also what's the best method to make the payment, am paying for 1st term only.

Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by ca12: 8:53pm On Aug 22, 2019
You should send a mail directly to the school to get more clarification on their refund policy. In my opinion, it’s better to hear from the school about such matter as policies change sometimes.

So simply just send them this chat and remove the first paragraph

Hi bro, I can assist you with your request with my experience on this platform. Pls I am not an agent seeking ur money, just a fellow nairalander with info on what you are asking for and also with some time to assist you. I call it an assist because we are both going to work together and not I alone doing the work and research.

I appreciate looking forward to it .

Thanks a lot I appreciate you response.

Frankrobbn1:

Is NOT compulsory to upload an NYSC certificate! If it's not available! The visa officer is more concerned about the following:

1- Financial Sufficiency that will cover for your first year tuition and living expenses.

2- Your intent to study and reasonableness of undertaking the planned studies in Canada (Purpose of Visit).

2- Home ties in Nigeria and/or Canada that will motivate your departure from Canada at the end of your authorized stay.

Therefore, you can include your ND and HND to evidence that you've attained a reasonable level of education.

I've sent them a mail and they are yet to respond and deadline is Sept 1st, so want to make the payment now to avoid missing out on the deadline date.

Yeah, saw about 3 options, Wire Transfer, Mastercard and Visa card payment, trying to find out the convenient and cheaper means; but seems I will go for wire transfer.

You'll be charged $500 CAD for refund and you'll get your money within 90 days after submitting the refund form.
Wire transfer is a good option.

Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your student permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.

Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.

Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.

Pursuant to paragraph 220(c) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the cost of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Good day team, thanks to everyone that have contributed to this great thread. I'm July 8 and I got a request letter for my transcripts, duly completed family form(imm5645). I submitted the completed family form with my application and I don't know why they're asking for it again. House, please do I have to submit their birth certificates since I didn't do that? I need your advice
