I disagree with you. No man/woman was/is born with gay tendencies. They choose to give this excuse so you can feel pity for them. Study the history of someone who's gay and you will find what led to it. Some of them were sexually abused by older persons which will influence their lifestyles. Some others picked the tendencies from their peers. For others, curiousty led them to such tendencies and they got hooked in the process. There are several reasons but no one was/is born with gay tendencies.

You're picking up on environmental factors which can still be turned back on you. What about people who have never experienced any of those things yet still have homosexual desires? What about people who experienced all those things and more, yet are still straight?

I mentioned the fact that the brain of a gay vs. a straight person is different yet you ignored it. But a scan of a gay man's brain bears some resemblance to that of a woman. That would at least partly explain why he is attracted to men.

The truth is that even though environment and lifestyle can play a part in it, there are particular connections made between brain cells which give rise to sexual attraction and some people's are wired differently than normal for their gender which gives rise to these feelings.

Herein lies the problem (most probably). You prefer a relationship that is not 100% about sex but about expressing love feelings/emotions. You had probably encountered guys who were only interested in just sex and nothing more. No wonder you had to seek solace from the same gender.
