One of the major factors responsible for the high level of unemployment in Nigeria is the rapid growth in population There has been an increase in the growth of the labor forces along with the inadequate supply of jobs. The rapid population growth has been coupled with rural-urban migration. This has increased the population in cities thereby raising the level of joblessness undecided

Also the problems of lack of electricity and low purchasing power angry

Population is not the problem. Population has been growing but gdp has not been growing at the same rate. Oil is still our major revenue earner and talking about oil, how many barrels do we refine in a day?... We still have to export the oil to refine. So the sector is even not working maximally.

Population is not the problem
.The population GROWTH RATE is the problem

We being over 150m people is good

But growing at almost 3% annually is problematic

How can a country cope with this

After 4years and no job I hustle to save up and start a business yet d business is about to close up cause of low capital to meet up market demand, still went ahead to seek investors which hasn't brought any result yet God help us ooh

What business is that?

And are you constantly advertising your business online to get customers?

Any business that isn't online in 2020, will lack customers and profit.

Population growth rate is not the problem. What do we produce as a country. The problem is not on the side of growing population but on the side of low GDP. For the past 20 years, GDP has been low reason being that we are not a major exporting country. What do we earn in form of forex?....we are not the most population nation for crying out loud.

See I think Nigerian youth needs to wake up to the reality on ground.. it's not only tie, suit plus office jobs that jobs for graduates. E.g bank jobs, oil &gas, big manufacturing companies etc

In the western world u will see graduate like u doing waiter's job, transportation jobs, sale people jobs wtc.

No job no job but there are alot of opportunities for uberDriving, danfo driving, bus conductor, professional tailors, professional salespeople etc

So stop complaining of no jobs.., start with these jobs and grow through financial intelligence.
I swear to God I am in love with this Guy.. He said the absolute truth

Well
From what you wrote
You don t have a good understanding of demography.

China and India has a bigger population

But a smaller population GROWTH RATE than Nigeria 4
Nigeria is top 5 | top 10 in population growth rate
Until that is arrested
Every economic policy in Nigeria will FAIL

If those reading this are so gullible, I am not one of them.
AXA Mansard is an insurance/pension company and what business have they got with Machine learning and artificial intelligence?
I'm 85% sure your supposed friend is interning in their sales team and he's lying.
Note : I am not saying there's no IT Dept but there's nothing like machine learning and artificial intelligence in that insurance company as of now.
Cut the bullshit!
I would have insulted you but no need.
With your whole intelligence, you don't know that machine learning and AI involve data science too? Do you know if they probably want to start another line of business and need to make predictions?

Myself and the said guy started learning stuffs together last year, and in less than 12months there's been dramatic progress for both of us. He came 2nd in a machine learning hackathon and they were both offered the slots.
I'm into robotics and have started implementing a bit of AI.

I pity the lazy people that "liked" all you wrote coz my sole aim was to encourage people to go learn in demand skills.

Okay now, another Friend learnt Microsoft Dynamics for six months and is now gainfully employed on the island. You can doubt this one too so I can prove you wrong again lol.

If we all keep giving excuses, nobody would be anything meaningful.

Population growth has nothing to do with the high rate of unemployment... Rather corrupt personnel stirring the national affairs is the problem.

And nobody is a saint, even u, tomorrow if u become a head of an agency, u will rather employ unqualified friends and family members than qualified persons outside your circle.

That is a very inaccurate statement to make
