Dont be quick to judge. I know a girl that became a girlfriend to my guy because she was looking for house rent after convincing this guy to do so, she just told him one week later she isn't interested anymore. If I didn't counsel him, something bad would surely happen either to him or the girl. It was really painful for him.
I don't mean such is this case, but you can only judge what you eye has seen but can't make implications of who they are or make accurate predictions of their personality. some people can awaken the beast in us.

He didn’t do anything wrong.

If you can reject him publicly then you can refund in public too.




He gave her a gift. She collected. Which audacity do you need to collect one? gift are freely willed by the giver first with no measure of attachments. Once you put a clause on it, you instantly string yourself on the reverse end. Meaning it's no longer "a gift".(not freely willed). In any case, it's not the receiver faulth, but yours. You gave yourself no choice.

Think of it this way, if you had given her the gift with no intent to buy her, you would be exercising love in the truest sense. Love then in its true sense would have then instruct you instant of its nature of giving freely. If she refuse to Mary you , you will still be a free man. It's not her who is vexing... After all she rejected you. Maybe she sees you clear. Maybe she knows you do not love her. Maybe you trying to compelling her to marriage with gifts.

It's all happening in the heart.
