Sorry for that bro and move on. I love bees but I have fell into trouble several times while trying to save them. However, there are lower risk pesticides that one can use. Right now, I have access to only Hallakat. But u still have to spray only in the evening, from 5pm.

I planted at first in September and I had to rely on watering, but in the second month I paid someone to water it for me cos I was so busy but he ruined the regiment and the plants became stressed and started to wither. So I replanted

After the incident, I cleared the farm .applied my soil amendments and watered routinely morning and evening (cucumber is a fragile plant) and the yield was awesome. From my research though, a combination of Poultry manure and NPK will produce more yield but will deteriorate fast, while that of just poultry manure has a long shelf life.

80-90% of every local farmer puts okra in his farm as part of the 5 sisters planting and when the okra will be harvested around may ending or middle june the price will crash,so wait when they are harvesting plant your own to come out july,August/September.

actually 3 sisters planting is the original planting method used for hundreds of years by ancient Indians, Europeans,Africans,etc,the original 3 sisters planting will consist of companion crops like maize,beans , squash or any available vegetable,but now due to the harsh economic reality it is common to see farmers planting up to five different crops on a mound,like maize, cassava,okra,melon(egusi),yam,Chinese yam,Coco yam, cucumbers,beans(akidi)ugu.
maybe in some years to come we may have 10 sisters planting.
