Hi. What if at the point you know it's been approved, you register the name. Then send an email to SH that you registered it to avoid losing it to someone else. Any problems with that?

Bro, don't try that.. That's like using there brain to know if your domain is a GEM or something.. Please in the process of your domain is not yet registered by SH and it was registered by another person.. Just move on.

But if you choose the Option To register it yourself, if approved.. You can go ahead to register it but this process of submission is not free like later. It requires $1 for submission.

Another gem is on the way.

Good morning bosses.

So I was trying to submit unregistered names through SH and I was told I will need purchase coins, a coin is 1$. Please are there other means I could get those coins without paying ?

And how important is domain name description, do I need to write a well draft description or little something. Thanks bosses.

Chose the option for SH to register.

Hello. Please I have a question regarding SH. My unregistered name was also accepted yesterday but it is still available for registration. What could that mean? I have accepted the commission terms and the status says "getting ready to go live". What happens if someone else registers at another registrar at this stage? Thank you.
I submitted a name as unregistered name, it got accepted. But it was SH glitch that says it was available, the domain was actually Registered in 2018.
So nothing u can do about it if it gets Registered

For the Pros in here, please advise what's the best response to the question 'How much for this?'.

I always reply with a price and encourage the end user to make offer. But this doesn't seem to be working as users don't reply afterwards.

Its funny though.. Just checkout this name i submitted as Unregistered. They approved it at night while i also check whois and the name is still unregistered.

In the morning, the name is already registered. They de listed it immediately from my "pending to go live"

Before evening time, the name went live for another user..

The thing pain me i swear.

It is so risky submitting an unregistered name. I prefer to register it and if not chosen, then list on other domain name marketplaces like Afternic, Epik, and Dan. Lots of sales are made on Afternic. The only problem is their high commission which is more than justified as they to pay their partner networks which provide the wide reach in the first place to get your domain sold.

Don't forget Brandbucket, Brandpa, Namerific, Sedo, Namejet and other places.

You can now see it happens. Godaddy did that to me and I learned a very bitter lesson. It is best to go to insignificant registrars and check out a name you have in mind or use whois.com as I was advised on this forum when I laid my painful complaint care of godaddy.com. And your names are so good, painful to have them stolen under your very nose. Anyway, I hope we all wake up to this reality in domaining.

More sales to us all!

Get the point. SH approving your name doesn't mean it will automatically sell before you need to renew. Take for example @McCainReal has a portfolio of over 100 SH approved names. Assuming all these names are owned by him, he will have to pay a renewal of approx $10 x 100+ names. That's a lot for reinvestment. Now you see the wisdom in allowing SH own the majority of your names. When the name sells, you get paid without even investing a dime.

Brotherly, you can still register your name and submit it to SH. The most important reason people submit unregistered names is to cut cost during renewal.

Imagine you have 100 names registered in your name and renewal is fast approaching without much sales. You will start thinking of which names to drop or something like that.

Use TherealMcCain for example.. Over 100 names. He'll only be praying for sales instead of worrying himself over renewal fees.

I 100% agree with you but the risk is too high.

A system needs to be created where you'll be able to have enough funds to pay for renewal.

Pls house, I just sold an external domain (registered on dynadot) on epik.com. I was asked to transfer s domain to my epik account first then send to buyer's account. In d process of transfer, I was asked to pay $8.49 transfer fee. This is my first time selling a domain on epik marketplace. Is that how it works?
Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by iCauseTrouble: 4:10pm On Apr 30, 2020
I think I support grandstar on this. Even though I will advise everybody to stick to what works best for him or her. Do you know that most of these names being rejected by squadhelp are not bad names but its just because of the selectiveness of squadhelp?
I have had more than 2 of these experiences where squadhelp rejected my name and still got sold on afternic. The recent one happened 6 days ago where one of my SH rejected names got sold on Afternic for $2999. The name is still under 60 days transfer lock. The lock will be over by 25th of May. I will write a sales report on it when I receive the money.
If I had submitted the name as an unregistered name, and SH rejected the name, there is high probability that I will giveup on the name and think the name is bad so I wont bother to register and list on other marketplaces.
Anytime I register a brandable domain, the first place I submit it is SH. If rejected, then I resubmit to BB. But one thing I have noticed is that the acceptance on BB is higher than SH. And as of today, my BB names is 3 times more than SH names even though I always submit first to SH.
Another reason why I still prefer to register my names myself instead of submitting it as unregistered to SH is because of the low pricing of SH. If you are used to SH marketplace, you will see that 80% of their names fall below $2999. Infact, most of their names is accepted below $1999. But this is not the case with BB and BP. BB and BP price names higher than SH.
Lastly, let everybody stick to the plan that works for him/her. If you love your name so much, register it yourself and submit to different marketplaces.
Peace in Beckplanet's voice

All my external names sold on EPIK, I had to transfer it to them first. I complained to Rob that I don't like their markrtplacee policy. He told me to let him know when I have my next sale that there will bypass the policy.

I think the buyer wants it on epik account cos epik support is asking me to push to buyer's epik account once it lands my epik account. Is there a way I can ask to send it to buyer on dynadot?
