Lagos discharged 60 people but no pictures or videos. At least if you cannot show us pictures of the infected people in isolation centres, you should be able to show us vidoes or pictures of people discharged. You can blur their faces. At least let us see and believe all these audio cases and discharges.
The exclusive right to show picture lies with the patients my brother. It's unethical to display your patients identity on media except the patients consent to it.
Many patients have consented to it like those discharged in Akwa Ibom last week. They granted interviews in the hospital gates immediately they were released. Channels TV and TVC have brought many Covid 19 on live interviews in the past.
Every patient owns the rights either to disclose his identity or not. Govt has no single right .
Stop recycling this same question on and on again.
The world is thinking of how to curb the spread and come up with a vaccine not how to display pictures of Covid 19 patients

You are very correct. Patient consent is necessary before displaying their health status. Nigerians hardly disclose their underlying health conditions to family and friends because of stigmatisation.

I groan at the level of ignorance displayed by many people on this platform. Until Covid-19 death touches them directly or their family members, they won't believe it exists.

Well, most Nigerians rely on what they can earn from day to day, and this covid of a thing has impeded their ability to earn money.

Add the fact that less than 3000 people have tested positive (may change by 12 midnight tonight)...out of 200million Nigerians. It is like a drop in the ocean.

You are far more likely to meet someone with malaria than with covid.

It is sad, but people want to get back to normal. And people are scared. And fear makes people unreasonable. You can't blame them

Nigeria is not doing enough testing.

No it is not unethical. Advanced countries who know far better than us are showing videos and pictures but they either blur it or capture from afar so you don't see the faces of the patients. You guys in nigeria like to support and defend nonsense and act like you know better than the whites that you can't do without.

The useless govt especially lagos state should stop dishing out figures. Show the workings and show evidence. Show us the isolation centres with the patients and blurr out their faces. That's how people who are sincere do it. These useless Nigerian politicians should learn to gain the trust of the masses. They are always lying.

Amen ooo, exactly my questions and am yet to get reply.
If you're keen on seeing pictures go to the isolation center and leave us be from your horseshit, with all the things going on it is picture that interests you.
No one is begging you to believe covid exists, time and fate will teach you that lesson free of charge.

Some salient things pained me in this video:

An Enterprise rental truck was used to come and retrieve the body. Ambulances have become scarce

Watch till the end... The evacuators are not medics... They are probably The Army or National Guards.

Number 3, the family and neighbors are already paying the last respect. Because she's most likely going to be given a mass burial or cremated as a biohazard...

And we say Coronavirus is not real? What else will warrant the army to come and retrieve a body? This is a war, and we are smack right in the middle of it.

If you have ears, listen. Stay at home or take major precautions
