Yes. In 2006.

I had a severe headache and went into a trance. I can't remember for how long I blacked out, but the feeling of the after-life "was" peaceful. Everything on the other side seemed amplified, from the colours of the flowers, to the waters that flowed through. Saw a multitude of people going here and there, for what exactly? I couldn't and cannot still tell. These humans were different, more like demi-gods. They had great speed and were minding their damn business, and there I was staring with a forlorn look with shivers running down my spine. I looked different. My entire body was white, with a transparent look. I couldn't even feel my body. I felt so light. I had never seen anything strange in my existence. The ethereal body is amazing.

Of a truth, I didn't want to leave, the tranquility was incomparable. I felt something strong-like a rope-pull draw me back into consciousness. I jolted back, and all I saw were loved ones looking teary-eyed expecting my come-back. It was emotional. Leave religion, focus on elevating your spiritual man. You'll do exploits, get wisdom and be more discerning.

If I ever have to be given a chance to relive that moment, I'll give up anything and everything I have to experience it. Nostalgic, ye. smiley

Did you enjoy my story? Well I did, too but it NEVER happened.

This occurred to me in the year 2016 when i had ruptured appendicitis.
While been sedated in the theater room l was given 50mg of ketamine injection but it doesn't work due to the fact that i takes alcohol. it was increased to 100mg still i was alert and chatty and pain sensitive. Not until i was given 150mg of it that i slept a Lil bit.
while the surgery was been performed, i was falling down deep into one bottomless pit that look like a maze. i kept on falling but was praying in my mind that God i must not reach the end of this tunnel because something was telling me that if i should give up and reach the end of this tunnel that I'm not going to come back alive.
I couldn't see anything other than misty clouds in the tunnel.
I woke up with a jerk when they were closing the surgery up.
It was then i realized that most of those people that died during surgery actually gave up to reach the end of that tunnel.
That experience was one too many for me. i don't pray to ever go under the knives again

Yes I have, it all 3weeks ago when I woke at 5am for my morning exercise and I had this banging headache I had to pour cold water on my head used Panadol and just went back to sleep. The headache persisted throughout day and the next day.
I had this pain in my eye socket I had to go to a nearby laboratory to run a widal test only to discover than I had a Lil trace of typhoid in my system and my white blood cells was below minimum I had to start treating myself at home got ciprotab ibuprofen some immune strengthening drugs et all. I didn’t get better after 3days instead it became worse I had to go to the hospital to be placed on treatment I took a lot of drip injections and changed my drugs I still did not get better at all I became very pale weak and frail looking.
The doctor had to make me run another test for hepatitis, liver test, HIV, and all cos my urine was coming in a very dark color it was discovered that I took in some things that was already affecting my liver course of treatment was changed drugs were bought I was placed on a different drip I was in severe pain I sent a message to a very trusted friend making him swear an oath to do just as he promised I then instructed him on how to share my money if I eventually died gave his my bank details told him to sell my current phone which is an IPhone X add the all the money together and have him a sharing formulae I resigned fate and began to reconcile my ways with God I mentally priced a casket even choose the particular color I’d want and the location I wanted to be buried.
Thank God I got better few days after the treatment was changed to the right one been on injections since then and on meds was asked not to eat anything that has oil in it for now

Yes,

On August 2010, I was hit by a Toyota HiAce bus popularly called Hummer bus in Enugu during my second year in the university. I was returning from the market which I went to immediately after receiving lectures for the day. If you know Ogbete main market, you'll know that its two lanes are always busy. I crossed the first lane and as I was about to cross the second lane, It didn't occur to me to check my back since all the vehicles on second lane were coming from the front(which is how it ought to be). Unfortunately a careless driver breaking traffic rules was coming from the back trying to escape from the traffic warden, and in a twinkle of an eye hit me and threw me forward towards an incoming Toyota Corolla driven by a banker. I jumped up Immediately. Meanwhile the Corolla ran over the bag that contained things I bought from the market which fell off my hand when I landed on the ground with bruises and wound all over my body. Funny enough, In my subconsciousness I arose immediately to fight the driver, notwithstanding that I was staggering. The onlookers rushed to the scene and held me tight while they stopped the driver from escaping. I nearly crossed over had it been that the second vehicle driven by a banker crushed me after the impact of the hit from the Hummer bus but mercy of God said no.

The rod bridged the L and N wires together at the same time. This allowed potentially fatal electric current to safely flow to the power source directly instead of through your body to the ground. You were very lucky.

2 years ago, my fiancee, now wife called me in the middle of the night asking if I prayed as it was my custom. I said No. I was feeling really weak. Went back to bed. She called an hour later, almost weeping asking why I didn't pray despite her earlier plea. This time I summoned the strength to pray. A song came to mind, Agbanilagbatan(the great deliverer). I couldn't get myself to stop singing the song after repeated attempts to do so. Long story short, I went to bed. Saw my late dad in my dream, next thing, I was sinking in the very same bed I had lain all night. It felt like I was drowning. My spirit left my body. I felt my body so heavy. I was literally going under. I made frantic efforts to regain consciousness. Then my spirit came back to my body. I snapped back to life. I was drenched in my own sweat, palpitating at the same time. That experience still gives me chills till this day. The first and only time I had an out-of-the-body experience. That day, I saw the thin line between life and death. I can't tell how long the experience took. Seemed like it lasted forever

Have you ever missed death? I have!
In was in 2002, I was working offshore Eket Akwa Ibom state about that time. I left to onshore on an errand for the company. To get some PPE ordered for the crew from land.
I spent the night onshore and next day I went to do the assignment. I completed and was set to return to work. Meanwhile, I was instructed to buy Guardian Newspaper, The Sun and Punch for the supervisor.
I was at the park in Eket, boarded a taxi. I sat in front, when I remembered that I did not buy the 3 newspapers. I called a vendor. He had only The Sun. I purchased it, dropped it on my already paid front seat, and begged to driver to protect the seat as the taxi was still loading.
I ran to where other vendors were. I got the 2 remaining newspapers and walked back. It took say 4 mins or less. As I was approaching the loading taxi, a young man entered and sat in front. I came and was like, please sir that is my seat. He said how can? I did not see anyone here! The driver said, oga, I told you someone was there! He argued that never! he saw only a newspaper on this seat and he picked it and sat there. We argued for a while and it seems he will not get up. The usual me, I wanted to fight him, surprisingly I did not but instead became numb and cold sort of.
I tried one more time, sir, you are sitting on my seat please stand up. He said, listen, "over my dead body would I stand up for you". That was it.
I expected the driver to say something like okay, if you dont step out I will not go. He didnt. He kept quiet. In anger, I sat at the back.
I was so angry with everything that I didnt know what to do. As I reluctanly sat at the back, each time my eyes sees the back of his head I felt so cheated. So I said. driver, please I will not go again with you, return my money! Driver said wait e remain 2 persons.
Meanwhile 5 persons arrived. 2 entered this taxi the other 3 plus my self making 4 entered the next turn. I sat in front in the next taxi forgetting my SUN Newspaper!
The driver said lets go I will be collecting the money as we are going.
The first taxi drove off, 4 mins later we left. Its a journey of 35 to 40 mins. We stopped at a filling station, lo and behold the taxi that I refused to enter was there. An argument ensued. One woman was going to Ukpenekang, in Ibeno, while the driver carried QIT Ibeno direct. So they wanted someone who is going to QIT direct to replace the woman. That was me. I was going to QIT Direct and running late. This other 3 persons are going to Ukpenekang. It would have made sense if we switched places, and the woman joins here. I refused. I said I had agreed to follow the longer route of Ukpenekang first before QIT, just so I dont see that man that took my seat.
All entreaties to make me switch back to my original taxi failed. So they drove off. We followed. We will drive for 25 mins before we tee off from them. Precisely 20 mins into the journey a trailer carrying timber swerved to avoid a pothlole and ran directly into the taxi 400 metres ahead of us! It smashed the entire front part of the taxi into pieces! Before it ran into the bush. The trailer driver was unconscious. The two motor boys jumped off. One siustained a serious injuryy, One died. It was graphic. We slowed down and parked behind them , just under 10 seconds a massive crowd had gathered trying to rescue the survivors and the injured. That driver dead on the spot. The man sitting in front dead on the spot! He lost his 2 legs. The only thing that made us recognise him was 1, He was in front. 2. The sun newspaper I forgot in anger-it was soaked in blood. on his laps. Gosh, I always get emotional remembering this incident. The woman behind survived with minor scratches. Her son who was with her behind was unconscious-was later revived. In total 3 persons were dead on the spot.
That was the day I dropped the phrase. "Over my dead body"! Did the man leave that sit? Yes he did leave but it was over his dead body! He said it....and it came to pass. Sometimes, I wouldn't really now why God saved me but I feel there is a purpose. What would have happened if the man stood up and gave me that sit? Maybe nothing!. Why because we wasted so much time dragging who owns the seat. We may have passed that bad spot before the trailer got there! Delay is good at times. Evil will just pass over you. Meanwhile information reached my office that the taxi i boarded had a fatal accident. Everyone was thrown into panic mood. Why did he go offshore when he was still on duty offshore. Long story short, I called that i was alive and got in offshore last chopper 5.30pm that evening. Sfter helping to evacuate the dead and injured to the hospital.
Probably the car won't have had that accident because the vehicle would have left earlier without the argument
2) you were not destined to die that day even if you were in the vehicle that day....

Re: Have You Ever Had A Near Death Experience? by naxclimpsey(m): 7:28pm On May 09, 2020
Well, the majority of people's post here is not a near-death experience.

Mine was in 2012 in Ibadan. I was staying with my aunt and at the same time taking care of her babies. One day I was eating on the floor and wanted to stand, so I placed my hand on a glass centre table to help me stand.

Immediately I placed my elbow on it, the glass broke and it peeled off my skin. I was looking at my skin like this like abbatoir meat. I was damn scared to the bone. I started scampering for help.

My sis rushed out of the room. Blood kept gushing out uncontrollably. We wrapped the hand with like 5 wrappers and they kept soaking with blood. Gosh, I am dead today!

We ran outta the house to a nearby clinic. We got there the nurse was trying to stitch the skin but the blood didn't allow her to do it. She injected the area just to stop the blood but all to no avail.

There and then I knew I can't make it alive. I began to say "Oluwa darijin mi " which means God forgive me. I kept saying it and my body began to weak and weak.

I could hear a faded voice saying, let's call the doctor this thing is not going to stop. They moved me on a bed, the doctor came about 10 mins later. I was already going.

They injected me without eating and after losing so much blood. But about a few minutes later I am outta the world. I saw myself in a place full of light. I mean total whiteness. I saw people singing and praising God, they are all on the white garment and the light couldn't let me see their face I swear.

The angels were singing and dancing. I was totally different. I knew I was in heaven, no joking but shortly I heard a voice saying it is not yet time. Take this part.

I returned to the world shortly after. Then I knew God truly exists. Assuming I didn't make it back to life then I would have successfully made it to heaven. As the forgiveness, I asked for before passing out made me mingle with the angels.

There is indeed life after death.

The hand took thousands of naira from me and my family even after the whole stuff. Months later the hand resurfaced, we did everything possible and spent thousands. From 2012 till 2018 it was from hospital to hospital.

I later did the final surgery in 2019. They had to reopen all the affected place and removed stitched and other foreign bodies and cut some meat also and since then I am ok.

It might not be textbook definition but still doesn't take away from how terrible or scary the "accident" was to those that experienced it, just allow people share their stories abeg

This thread for come during the evening because e go long well....

THESE ARE ALL NOT NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES. Nigerians think because it's called NEAR-DEATH so it means experiences that you NEARLY DIED grin grin

Definition of near-death experience

: an occurrence in which a person comes very close to dying and has memories of a spiritual experience (such as meeting dead friends and family members or seeing a white light) during the time when death was near.

What you all typing are ACCIDENTS you had. Did you see white light OR a tunnel? If No, that's not NEAR DEATH. NDE, they actually die and wake. They see things in the spirit realm and come to tell stories.

Omo my own experience legit.

When I was young, we were playing on the road. All of a sudden I slipped and fell on the ground.

My head hit the ground so badly that I fainted. Immediately I found myself in a Black&White environment with some people sitting on a chair and signing.

I was standing behind them and wanting to join them sing.

Some personality standing before them that I could not see just nodded his head forward like I should go back, before I knew it I woke up and found myself on the ground.

I stand up comot from ground go house. Then I stop to play since that day.
