Invest in people that will always be there, people you're bonded with by blood, people that only death will take them away from you–invest in family. Investing in girlfriends and fiancees and sponsoring their education is very risky, it's not a very wise investment and it always mostly end in tears; premium tears.

Well seriously speaking why would you be the one to sponsor her? She is her parent's responsibility and not yours for crying out loud. But there are exceptions anyway, for situations where the girl's folks are not buoyant. But do not help her hoping that you guys would marry tomorrow. It doesn't end up well in most cases. I for one had a female friend, she was in level 1 when we started talking. Once in while i send her money on my own, and then when we started dating it continued.

You just made me recall my exploits in broiler farming... I spent very littlle because i fed them with food wastes from a nearby boarding school, and in turn i made really great gains cos some birds were sold for as high as 2,500...

I know a case with a family friend he was an older man but very good looking. He also didn't go to University so has only his WAEC certificate. His former wife cheated on him and ran off with her childhood sweetheart so he had to begin again.

He found a young girl who claimed to love him, he sent her to University and even helped to support her family. After her graduation, her parents said he was too old and not on her level.
