i had deserted my royal head in 2011 December (dad) and left for lagos on a personal adventure my dad sent out word to the family not to accommodate me anywhere in the country that Akawo Jr has abandoned his place lol,i landed in mainland ebutemetta west to meet an old friend i met in lagos back in 2007 on a similar adventure,this time around the tale took a new turn as my friend couldnt accommodate me for the mean time,while i slept outside,every morning i walked from oyibo to bode thomas in search of a job in the big companies in the area yet couldnt land a job,i met an iron bender who worked with Julius bager at bode thomas junction to see if he could land me a job at the site still nothing,after hustling to work for carwash at apapa road and cemetery street with no hope, i finally made a new friend who got me a concrete job for pillars casting on 3rd floor of an uncompleted structure,they where laughing at first but later feared my courage and determination,it was not the first time in my life to do hard labour but the first i had to do a really dirty and minddaring job,it was damn risky any one who has done manual labour pillar casting on a third floor of an uncompleted building would understand.after the job i was paid 1600 naira for the day.

Me n my roommate carrying only rice,onions from off campus at 10 in d night to school hostel looking for who to beg gas,pot,n complete ingredients to cook so we could eat.
PS: we hadn't eaten for 2days

During my final year, I ran out of foodstuff except yam and small palm oil. Decided to make yam porridge, so I bought crayfish with the last #50 on me and had them grind it, not knowing they grinded ogono before I came. Na so I take chop porridge yam wey dey draw like soup. Las Las I throway the nonsense, come sleep like that

when I was in Kadpoly ( in ajegunle hostel) ND2 first semester,me and my roommate became very broke and all we had left was half tuber of yam.gas HV finished, light was very poor it could only charge phones..so we just put d yam on electric stove and went to night class..that was around 8pm, we came back around 2am only to see that d water was just warm....that was how we ate raw yam and slept that night....

it was when I did my ljmb(Alevel), had to travel to edo, Benin to be precise to write my exam ...
we were to write the exam in one private uni biu(benson idahusa uni) we all go there (me and my guys),mumu us we bought food stuff from Ilorin,on getting there we were told we can't cook.I was like wtf okay na..
first night we survive with garri and boiled egg..
we started exam na 2 square meal we dey eat,I drank garri sotey I lost my taste it wasn't easy but we all give glory to god for our result

Omo that month I pray my enemy should not be in my shoe.. was cashless, have to do weird stuff to survive. I brush my teeth with soda soap, fortunately for me I had carton of indomie... I just went to get a paint of garri on credit... All through that month I soak garri combine with indomie...

I slept in campus with empty stomach most days ,,and I keep asking myself wat next after graduation , because no hope ,I mean no hope at all ,back in campus,most times na 3k I take survive for 1month ,,,in side the 3k I go transport go campus ,life in Ambrose Alli University no be beans o,,,

But at this moment the story is different ,and one thing for sure that I have known about this life is forget about your present ,think about the future ,the future is Tomorrow ,babe turn me down like mad ,,na money day make love sweet .

Always second semester, mine was, drinking very cold water as to shrinkle my intestine so that i won't feel hungry. Naxo man dey take survive ooooo
