It's quite possible that it affects sales if it's true, though people have sold domains plenty here without hiding their Naija identity.
But I can understand if it makes some buyers develop cold feet.
Couple that with the issue of the scam warning/alert from their bank that appears sometimes when some buyers want to pay with their card on Dan, and I can understand why some buyers can get spooked, disappear and never come back even if you try to convince them to come and pay elsewhere.

I used a virtual dollar card I bought from Barter. You can open an account with them. Buy a virtual dollar card for 2$ and fund it through your naira account. You will be given a US identification details which you can used to make payment on Godaddy and other international platforms.

The domain nane however is not reflecting in my godaddy account and my money has been deducted. Called godaddy support and they advised I contact my bank.

They can see the domain but its as though it didn't go through. 10k was deducted from my account. My Jesus is lord.

It takes 2-7 days to get it, the one I paid for last week took 7 days the other was 2 days so no fear your money never go.

Just use PayPal and let the PayPal be synchronized with your GoDaddy so you don't stress up yourself.

After payment just check for GoDaddy invoice mail, then wait for the domain to hit your account, that's all I do

I think invoice will be issued after payment, I have checked on one of my domain for test run after filling form and address the take you to payment then confirmation, is at confirmation stage where the buyer now gets the invoice at that point no turning back lolz...

Before you responded on how long you've held the domain, next time just do a search on ED, you might be lucky it's got some age on it, I mean registered before, which is what that end user was looking out for.

The age of a domain registered June 2019 is 1 year, even if it was first registered in 1980 and later dropped in 2018.

Yep, I absolutely agree. Serious buyers will go to get it from Afternic, that's those that really need the domain.
But for the less serious buyers who don't really need the domain, it can turn them off (though they're still buyers anyway, it's not all people that buy domains that are desperate buyers, some just want to buy because it's a good idea and relatively cheap).

They are even directing English Word domain to their porn site. One of the domain I put on watchlist, DRIVERBELL.COM was redirected there and many more of domains. I don't know their reason for doing that.

please which of the CPC's is trusted most, expired domains or estibot. because expired domains will put a cpc of 65USD and then estibot or other sites will tag that same domain 1USD or 0.10USD.

ED and Estibot data are often incorrect. Use Keywords Everywhere Chrome extension to get accurate search volume and CPC. You can also add the extension to Chrome on Android.

Why not use GTbank Naira MasterCard instead or you have a reason for using foreign card?

Hmm and some of us put our American phone number in the outbound letter. They might think we’re trying to play a fast one on them after seeing the invoice, or just get angry at us for trying to deceive them.

I advise you to learn the right way. You got Parking right but skewed up the rest.

I know you jumped in here on top of juicy sales reports. Most of them did not happen overnight, and entailed some hard learning.

Start from Page 1, with a jotter and pen. Forget the sales report for now.

You can also contact the founder of this thread (iykepromotions) for tutorial. But before you do that, I suggest you read at least the first 500 pages. This will make the tutorial easier for you, else, you will just be asking a lot of basic questions that will slow down the tutorial and make it uninteresting.

I once said something about Chinese buying names that have no relationship to the site hosted on them. This is one of the uses.

They are probably after traffic domains.

My chief worry is that there was no receipt from either Godaddy or Paypal which is strange. There also was no indication of deduction when I logged into my Paypal account.
