I beg to differ joo, has any of your trades determined the closing price before? Mine has and it is awesome.

Tomorrow when you busy on the FCMB charts remember that todays closing price is me.

Serious bears will descend on the banks. Covid seriously affected their earnings (re-low transactions). The dumpings will soon start. As it is, no bank should be judged on the basis of their old performance. These are unusual times! If care is not taken, some may even go under. SAD

Just stay in the good ones with the least issues. Not more than 4 of them. No need to panic at all. It is very well.

Based on analysis, I don't think this would be true.
Maybe a bit bearing, but would pick up soon.

The cap. of some banks are still high to go under.
If banks go, then future of other industries cannot be ascertained.

I like this man a lot. He is Trump-like grin. He is in his own world and he believes in himself.
See. The move filled up two pages already - in the midst of this 'silence' ogrin
Like Trump, the situation makes a very good comedy.

I run.

I don't see this situation playing out. I don't think one quarter issues will kill the banks.
However, if it plays out I will be happy. We will be waiting for the 'serious bears' near the bottom - another wealth transfer on a platter of gold.

FX gains will certainly come to their rescue. Don't be too sure of bad results.
Also, take note that the expected bad results might have been priced in already.
In all, I expect FBNH in particular to deliver better result than last year irrespective of the covid situation.
NOT A BUY OR SELL RECOMMENDATION.

You MAY be right

But I'll say this

I'll wager anytime that no Tier 1 bank is going under this cycle

Take that to the bank

Relieve ur nerves bro !!
...I think he was just trying to catch some fun. wink cheesy grin
That said, I understand ur concern though.

Btw, @ phoinix pls be reminded that FCMB didn't close the day @ that N1.89 just because of u or ur trade.
There are rules guiding how assets/securities in the NSE are made to reflect on the daily trade book including their CLOSING PRICE(S).
The WAvgV is just one of them and going by that, the coy should've closed the day @ N1.90(FCMB traded/exchanged more hands @ that price)... but it didn't for other reasons.
The MM folks(both pri & sec) also play a part in determining closing prices, so if the coy had closed @ that price peg then u should(going by estimates) consider it as the result of laid out conventional rules and not just ur 'making or power' wink cheesy grin

I like the fact that ur excited though... u must be a very funny fellow !! grin grin grin

Regards

I always wonder why some people like to show-off a lot, all these pedantries dey tire me.

The 100k rule is simple. 100k or more shares in a single trade moves the market. The last 100k or more share traded at once, sets the days closure, except in very rare cases. **max upward price limit 10.25% and downward limit 9.75%.**

Whether d 100k was traded by a retail investor, cooperation or market maker is irrelevant. It is dis simple, there is no big grammer involved.

This is my simple observation.

Regards
