Did you ask for his assistance then he outrightly refused to help you out
OR
Did you assume he wasn’t sensitive enough to know you were in need

But he should be sensitive enough to know otherwise why are they in a relationship in the first place?

Nigeria men are so stinging

Some can be giving, but it depends cause their generosity has a reason. Only few are really charitable.

The difference between us.

When a man has money, he looks to improve his woman, invest in her and help her grow.

When a woman has money, she doesn't need a man.

Men ronu!!!
Exactly or let me ask in your life have you ever had a Nigerian woman who went abroad and come back to marry her struggling boyfriend? Or a rich Nigerian woman marrying a struggling guy? Never, even in there dreams, so thank God men have wake up now, no more scam of love lol men need to be pampered too

Get yourself a Love Machine and kick him to the curb. It's obvious he's around to fulfill only your physical needs.

So we've been together for some months, almost a year now and well my current financial state is making me have doubts about our relationship, he's also not stable according to him but a lot of times I doubt that even if he was he probably won't tell me, or he'll leave me to do it all.

I don't demand anything from him, he's not my dad, I loved him so I always try to act like a grown woman even when I need help, but after losing sooooo much money in a scam I'm so broke that I barely have money to eat. He knows this but he didn't do anything to help, that's how I've been living like I'm single. I do every thing for myself but it's not been easy.

Do you think it's okay to let him go and focus on me? Because I really don't understand his role in my life anymore, or should I try to wait while working and see if he's different in the future?

After you done loss money to scammer you naw want to stress the gentlemen to give you money to give another scammer is that so

And you expect him to come And b booking hall for wedding soon

It’s easier and healthier to ask than to assume or conclude

Why do people get into relationships nowadays if a partner's problems can't be deduced?

I will never understand what I'm doing in this generation

You already said it yourself: he isn't your father.

Please let the young man go, since you cannot fend for yourself and think that's his responsibility, even when he hasn't married you. That's what most girls/ladies would do anyway. So, own up to it and stop trying to act like you're different.

Perhaps, he didn't help because he didn't have.

But I have questions.

Does he work?

If yes, what type of work?

Is it a well paying job?

It is important for you to know that this man is not a miser.

Entitled? Over my partner's insensitivity? Definitely.

I find it weird that people are being excused for being oblivious of each others problems when they're supposedly in a relationship. You're dating this person. You should be able to at least sense when they're not their usual self.

I just pray I develop that courage to speak cos I'm exactly like u described urself. But I'l try, God will continue to bless ur home.

Amen.
Once you start, it gets easier. Been there. Most guys know how to spoil women naturally due to their flirty nature. But there is this few subset that just doesnt know how. But they can be taught. Just try before you give up. That's what I did and still doing.

You got involved in a scam and want to use the results of your decision to scapegoat your supposed boo.

These streets are crazy.

Study well and read your books, let someone not greedily lose money to a scam and write epistle o.

Funny enough, someone has shared the same script here. ... Just want to create topic.

Now based on her story shebi...of what use has she be of benefits to the super story guy?

What support hàs the guy benefit financially from her that makes her feel she deserve a good return?

What achievement has the guy gained in the relationship with her?

Shouldn't a relationship help out when you're in need?
It should, but going into a relationship with that motive is wrong.

Relationship shouldn't be the gateway to escape poverty

Women in the elder generation were working.

All the women in my extended family were and are working. None of them expected to be dependent on their husbands.

Some of them even out earned their husbands.

You don't need all that space to define prostitution Nne.

Lucyspa:

Babe, u re a girl, so u have inner instincts that speak to you in times of troubles. The main reason you even came here to talk about this issue is because it is bothering you already and that is not a good sign. A man who loves will willingly do things for you without you having to ask. I don't think that man loves you to be honest. I've been in this sort of situation before and it didn't take long before i broke up with him. That relationship made me unhappy and constantly tired. Infact, before i broke up with him, i started dating this guy that spoilt me silly and i became happy. The greatest need of an average Nigerian guy in a relationship is SEX while that of a woman is constant care and money. If you constantly give a man sex while he doesn't give u care and money, u will be unhappy like u are now. U can talk to him and see his reply. If he doesn't give you a reasonable reply, prepare ur mind for a breakup

Fine...he wasn’t sensitive enough to know she needed help. That’s a problem.
Should her next line of action be to breakup, or to clarify the situation at hand?
The girl already knows what she wants to do. She just wants to hear other people agree with her.

@ Danyyyyyyyyyyy
It’s not a crime to break up with someone just because he’s broke. It might be shallow, but it’s not a crime. Do what your heart tells you is best.

ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE- I Lost a lot of money this year too on the quest to make it; never faulted her or wondered about her usefulness in my life because it isn't her fault though, still sent her a little money when she needed some. Not planning to move on yet, but am still focused on myself. so ask him first,if he has and doesn't give you,you can move on. you get the point now?

If she could do something and she didn't do it, you would feel bad, if I could do something I definitely would
