Tcwork: The man below has his own version that’s similar to yours and he made it clear that God is a trinity. And he even calls Jehovah the Father which you deny, so who are you to say otherwise? Can’t you see that it’s the same trinity doctrine but refashioned and restructured into several versions? livingchrist: 2 Likes |

Their Trinity will ever remain what it is! It will continue to promote ©Division- Each time an individual among them feels cheated or betrayed he/she freely walks away and pitch his/her tent elsewhere, then begin gathering members who feels the same way. Yet they will still believe they're worshiping the same God as the group they left. ©Racism- Pride remains in their midst so they can't unite as one despite claiming worshipers of the same God. ©Politics- Since pride and nepotism remains they can not stop but continue fight for power and their Trinity God is rendered useless. ©Sectarianism- They continue forming sects in the name of denominations whereas conflicting doctrines and contradicting teachings is what they're dispensing. ©Gender confusion- They can't conclude on the gender that should take the lead so both males and females lead in the worship of their Trinity even though it's written in the book (Bible) that only males should lead in worship. ©Stealing- They will continue to defraud one another using God's name, tithes, offerings, first fruits and so on is their target, and when they're able to collect these from they gullible followers they acquire material possessions everywhere yet saying heaven is their target. ©Promiscuity- Since each person can start his own Church, whatever he/does in the name of Trinity is welcomed. ©Spiritism- They employ every means to perform various spiritistic acts, this is what faithless people love, so with little magical acts they're able to gather crowd. But one thing is certain, they will never unite in Trinity whatever disrupt pagans equally affects them! Luke 11:23 DappaD: |

MaxInDHouse:Wow, you came back prepared. Still, we shouldn't just lump every believe in one. All religions have certain similarities yet we have to judge each by its own content. It is quite insensitive to blanket 2 contrasting beliefs just because of a few similarities. Not long ago, A wise man showed me how we worship different Gods even though we use the same bible are refer to our Gods by the same names. We cannot afford to be shallow in the way we view others beliefs |

The gospel stories comes from ancient stories about Marduk. Marduk is the son of Enki. He is also the Lord God of the old testament. That is the God of the jews but with a different name. He is also Eledumare of the yoruba and chukwu of the igbos.. It was Athanasius who said he was both God and man at the council of Nicea. In other to satisfy both partiesand end the arguement that dragged on for almost two years.. |

Tcwork: Still from that verse 36 of Acts 2 you just quoted did you see where it says God has made that same Jesus , whome you crucified, both Lord and Christ? Surely God the father(Jehovah) made the son both Lord and Christ (anointed one) They are not the same entity as you have said in your thread 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by Janosky: 1:43pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Tcwork: 'Face to face' refers to intimacy of communication, Nobody can see God's face. Judges 6:11-22, Gideon never saw God's face but he had an intimate communication with the angel of Yahweh. The truth stands.. Exodus 33:20-22 , John 6:46, John 1:18.. |

Tcwork: Ok i see another part that is confusing you greatly Jesus said he came in the name of the father (Jehovah) Jesus said all that the father own is his as well Jesus said all that he sees the father does he does as well Jesus said he doesn't seek his will but that of the father Jesus said the father is in me and I am in the father Through righteousness and humility Jesus obtain a name and position above every other creature either in heaven on earth or beneath the earth. Finally the name Jesus translate "Jehovah is Saviour" Now Jesus by inheritance can bear his father's name. 1 Like |

Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by Tcwork: 2:14pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Janosky:Oga that is the most plain scripture even for a child. Why don't we accept the scriptures without creating human interpretation. Face to face does not mean an intimate communication it mean face to face. And how does judges 6.11-22 have to do with this discussion. Gideon saw an angel, that was well documented and Moses saw Jehovah, equally well documented. And please everyone knows the meaning of face to face no need to twist the bible 1 Like |

Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by haddeylium(m): 2:39pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Tcwork: Good! Now learn at your Pace! Jehovah is the only person that is referred to as the source of Salvation 'No other one beside him' (Isa 43:11; 45:21). He did this through men he raised as Saviour. ...and because of your great mercy, you would give them saviors to rescue them out of the hand of their adversaries.(Neh 9:27). All other are appointed to serve as Saviour. Several Judges served in this capacities; Othniel, Ehud, Moses (Jg 2:16; 3:9, 15). Salvation is provided by JEHOVAH through all these men. Likewise. Jesus name means -JEHOVAH is Saviour! So, Jesus was sent as Saviour by Jehovah 'the principal saviour'(1Jo 4:14) Jehovah is Jesus saviour included (Heb 5:7; Ps 28:8.) What should that tell you? So, Jehovah as the Principal Saviour provided salvation through those men and Jesus. 1 Like |

haddeylium:We have already gone over this. You are still repeating an argument that has been refuted but let me help you out. Isaiah 43.11 says I—I am Jehovah,+ and besides me there is no savior. It did not talk about principal salvation or source of Salvation. And I agree Jehovah/Jesus is the Savior of the world. He brought salvation to the world through his pain and blood. He bore the sins of the world. On the cross, he asked "Father why have you forsaken me." He alone paid the price |
Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by haddeylium(m): 2:52pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Tcwork: Principal Saviour is supreme. He appointed others that the salvation is done through them. And he's those he appointed Saviour. you understand? If I say, I built this House all by myself- Would that statement be wrong? Answer. Note; I appointed/employed Workers, Engineer, labourer that helped in building that house. But, who's receiving the glory? |
Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by Tcwork: 2:59pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
haddeylium:Who bore the pain of your salvation? Who paid the price of your salvation? Who died for your sin? The Bible never taught categories of saviours. It's a modern teaching and yesterday was my first time hearing it But we could leave this saviour discussion for a while and address other aspects of the discussion. What do you think? |
Re: Is Jesus Christ Jehovah? by haddeylium(m): 3:24pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Tcwork:No matter how the Workman you employed/appointed for building your house labour, you'll still receive the glory as the Mastermind behind it and can rightly say I built this house myself. Jesus is Jehovah's obedient servant ! (Act 3:13) Jehovah provides salvation from sin through the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Bible refers to Jesus as “Savior.”—Acts 5:31 But we could leave this saviour discussion for a while and address other aspects of the discussion. What do you think? If you understand the previous. Fine! 1 Like |

haddeylium: You have some valid points. Christians Don't even understand what they practice. They think through the death of a messenger (which is peganism) they are saved. When you carefully study the good book from beginning to the end, you will see how people tried hard to mock God by exchanging the glory of the immortal God(without death) for other practices(religion & death-related atonement) ~Romans 1:22-23 & 25 But this is a logical standard; *And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matt 19:16-17)* In day to day activities. Those commandments.. shape the society well. So you can actually view an eternal life(if there is anything like that) by test running the commandments here on Earth.~ "near logical" |

If he truly understood he won't ask you any question! For the fact that he still asked a question shows he hasn't agreed with you but since you don't know what next to say you'll rather look for means of escape after divulging your personal preconceived thoughts. Well that's the difference between true Christians and misinformed Churchgoers who are also claiming Christians. Jesus never asked his followers to walk away from someone who asks questions rather they must ascertain whether there is an agreement or not, if there's an agreement the person becomes their brother in faith but when there's disagreement they mark that place {Matthew 10:13} they mark the place means the person is not someone with whom they're worshiping the same God that's why Jesus said such ones will not survive the coming destruction! Matthew 10:14-15 It's pathetic seeing arrogant misinformed Churchgoers claiming they're also preaching when they're not making any progress in disciple making work Jesus commissioned. Please between the OP and you what was the conclusion of your chatting? Obviously both just went your separate ways without any concrete agreement on teaching! So are both of you Christians worshiping the same God now that you're not of the same line of thought? 1Corinthians 1:10 That's why JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES believes you guys are just deceiving yourselves! Good Morning folks.... The only contention the Jews had with Jesus was getting to believe that He is able to forgive their sins and by extension grant them salvation. Now all through the Scriptures there was hardly any place where any of the Apostles/Disciples had to raise any argument whether Jesus Christ is God, Lord, Jehovah, etc, etc. They clearly understood who the following..... God the Father Jesus Christ(Messiah)...the Son The Holy Spirit While it is good to have this discussions for probably learning sake, does it truly give us the desired edification or improve our spiritual lives as God expects of us? The duty of Christ was/is to do the work of His Father. To preach forgiveness of sins through Him and to those who believe may have eternal life through Him. The mandate given to the early disciples/apostles and every other believer/disciple is that we preach to all men(women) Jesus Christ for the purpose which He came, died and resurrected. That all who by His Word gets convicted, seek for repentance be born of water and spirit and remain steadfast to His word. This is what matters: 1)Do you believe in God the Father? 2)Do you believe in Jesus Christ as Son of God who died and was resurrected? 3)Do you believe in the Holy Spirit? John.14.8 - Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." The bolded above is somewhat like the entire post on this thread where everyone is theorizing, interpreting and analysing. But this below is the Jesus response. John.14.9 - Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, "Show us the Father'? John.14.10 - Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. I end with this Rom.8.9 - But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. Rom.8.11 - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. I hope we can all comprehend the immediate above Scripture. May we all have peace and rest in the Lord. Amen. |
