It was mostly from lowlives and Indians who weren’t regarded as humans so it didn’t move me one bit. What annoyed me the most was how other Nigerians took zero notice of when it was thrown their way. I then realized that being racist and getting offended by their antics was a learned process.

Personally I feel that racism will never end cos some of us too are guilty .I remember back then 2012-2013 during my msc days at Uni of Sunderland,I noticed some of my mates then Nigerians to be precise were running after some white ladies even married ones. I was completely surprised one day I told one of my friends who was also into running after married white women with kids that he is also a racist cos he cannot try it back home in Nigeria be that as it may I also experienced a whole lot of them the most common one being most of them will prefer to stand in a public bus instead of sitting close to a black man so whenever it happens I will simply balance like a king and spread very well lolz

Lol probably your friends decided to try something new and see how it feels to date white women. Not Racism if you ask me.

When I travel out, racism can't bother me as long as you don't physically bother me.
If you refuse to sit beside me,your problem. If you call me a black monkey,it's your mouth,it doesn't change my name from Drella!

I wouldn't be ashamed either as Africans has proven to be subhuman among other race particularly Nigerians.

let be frank to ourselves how many of us here would want to sit next to a fulani beggar? even if we do we wouldn't be comfortable no matter how well dress they look.

I will want to sit with them if they are hygienic. So far as they are civil. Beggar no be disease or a cause for hate/rejection.
I will not feel comfortable sitting next to anyone irrespective of tribe if they are dirty. As in really dirty and untidy with foul odor not withstanding if you are from my village.

Not just chinese people,I think South East Asian have inferiority complex when facing American's and European while they show hate towards Africans...this do not apply to general population.
I studied in South Korea , Koreans will prefer to stand from a seat in a train if a Black guy shld stand in front of them while at the market..the old ladies will insult you if u try to negotiate prices of goods ,you want to buy.I see it unnecessary, since you have the right to accept my offer or reject it..
In the unversity, a white guy will get high scores in assignments when compared with a black guy who may even provide more information. These are my experiences.

You school for Korea? Which year?
You sabi Zed, jeffo, ajuma half chicken for Itaewon?

In ss1 10 years ago we went for an excursion to Turkey and the very first day we landed we were strolling across a neighbourhood when some teenage boys started making monkey gestures towards us, I thought it was funny because I was so young and had no idea what racism was. But a few years later that experience hunts me still and that is why I am never leaving Africa again.

Why would they put on their masks? That's dumb of them. They are the ones with COVID-19. Why did they complain when they got on the train and French citizens immediately put on their masks?

I've not experienced racism, though. But you will always have people that have a problem with African hair.

It's better not to experience it because that shit cuts deep!

None in The Philippines. In fact they love black people more than westerners, firstly because the percentage of blacks in Philippines is very low and also they think all black guys are basketball stars so when strangers want to communicate they either call you Jordan or James (with so much excitement on their face).

this will change once yahoo bois start coming in, they start using people for ritual, etc

Let talk about racism at home please.
Na so one bike guy said I should pay 500 naira instead of 100 or 150 naira from Round About to Iwo Road in Ibadan. When I started complaining he told me clearly that he can't carry a northerner or hausa below that amount. I was pained by that statement.

its funny that even those smelly Indians do same here in Canada. They are reluctant to sit beside blacks on the bus. But I understand that their own is due to inferiority complex...
You see, you are racist too. Assuming Indians are naturally smelly.

It's high time we start to sincerely analyse ourselves too. 90 percent of Nigerians I dare to say are racist. When u think Abokis are not smart, or igbos are dubious or ibadan people are disloyal...you are profiling and generalising, u are a racist!

sorry . . .
I honestly think feeling racially abused has to do with a persons level of confidence or rather inferiority complex.

No mind me oh. I never reach airport before. but i believe if i can withstand all the hate, prejudice, and unspeakable disgust that comes to me as a hausa/fulani man in my country where do you think i cant survive in the world. just be proud, confident, and learn not to give a damn what whoever thinks.

Mumu. So you don't know if you are Hausa or Fulani?

First time I traveled out of Nigeria was to the UK many years ago, I got this job outside London in some village so I wasn't familiar with the transportation system so I sat upfront and ask the oyinbo driver where to get off but the guy just ignored me like I wasn't even talking to him.

Next incident same UK sat next to some oyinbo guy outside London on a bus, he just got up muttered some curse words and went to sit in the back of the bus lol.

Or is it when I went to Liverpool because my brother was studying at the university there, and me and my cousin who is also staying in Liverpool decided to take the oyinbo girls who are also students staying in the same house with my brother out to the club one weekend .We took the cab to the club and once we got there the same oyinbo girls that were chatting with just change and refuse to enter the club with us lol

Finally got tired of the place and went back to London stayed a couple of months and fled back to Nigeria before wrangling my way to the US which I don't even want to mention the racism experience but the racism there is actually not as bad as the UK. But back in Nigeria now so there is nowhere like home despite the issues here.

Have lived most of my life in America and i can tell you that i cant wait to get out and return back home.I am only waiting for that idiot Buhari to get out first.

In my opinion, tribalism is worse.
It's same thing. It's just racism against your fellow country man. And over 90% of Nigerians are.
Shame on them for complaining that some people are racist
