Everything depends on your plans. Whether you want to practice in Nigeria or Abroad.

If your plan is to stay here in Nigeria, then, Radiography is the better option. You will earn well. Nurses still suffer from quackery such as the popular "Nurse Eliza". Also those from SON further make their bargaining power very low in the private sector. I have friends in radiography that are covering hospitals for 50-100k because they are not yet radiographers. They are still final year students.
Imagine what it would be when they graduate.
In the private sector, Radiographers earn higher than Nurses. While in government hospitals, salaries are the same.

Nursing has more career progression compared to Radiography.

If your plan is to japa, Omo! Nursing is the way to go!
In the past one year, 5 of my senior Nursing friends have all traveled to either UK or USA with jobs waiting for them. Only 1 for Radiography.
It is easier to japa with a Nursing certificate than Radiography certificate whether with HCPC or not.
Infact, MLS graduates leave the country more than Radiography.

Finally, it all depends on your plan.

what about pharmacist how easy is it to japa

What i shared with you is an excerpt from NHS in UK, did you see anywhere they mentioned Radiologists or that it must be done under their supervision? If you have any, kindly share.
I'm not talking about your average Nigerian health care system here where everyone is involved in a power tussle and everyone want to be on top of another person without respecting one another job's specification or description.
Radiotherapists don't need to wait for dose instructions from anyone, because Dosimetery is a vital part of their curriculum.
Radiography is very vast and technical,
It's easy for a common house officer to look down on a nurse with many years of experience, but the said house officer will be lost in a basic radiography unit.

hii, with the advancement of technology would there be any need for radiographers in the nearest future and do radiographers stand a risk of cancer

This depends on what your life goals are. I can say authoritatively that the chances of one getting a job abroad, especially in the UK, are higher and more accessible for Radiographers than nurses. Additionally, Radiographers in the private healthcare institutions in Nigeria earns almost twice the salary of their nursing counterpart in the same institution because revenue for Imaging(X-ray, ultrasound, Mammography, CT scan, MRI scan and Radiotherapy are the live wire of a hospital and medical diagnostic centres.
Having said so, Radiography and Nursing are both good and critical allied healthcare professions where unemployment rates are nonexistent, especially in Radiography. As someone stated earlier, No Radiographer in Nigeria is unemployed.

Lol...I am a 300l Radiography student...I think I am in the best position to give u analysis.
First a nurse wud and will always work under the supervision of a doctor i.e extremely subservant to doctors while Radiographers work with mutual respect and in some cases gives directive to doctors who basically know little or nothing about medical imaging
Secondly nurse cannot build or supervise a personal hospital or clinical center without being monitored by doctor while Radiographers can have his/her personal diagnostic as well as therapeutic (treatment) center without directives from doctor
Thirdly
The esteem of Radiographers are uncompairable that they are referred to as Oracle of Modern Medicine and eagle eye of modern MEDICINE while nurses are merely reference as clinical Messengers.
Fourtly evolution of Radiography is not even at it peak yet birthed 1895 and it will keep evolving with technology giving inclusion to accommodate other medical practice as technology evolve.
Fiftly nurse can only treat menial illnesses like maleria and typhoid and they cant diagnose....while radiographers is involved in tratement of malignant illnesses like cancer, infertility etc and they can diagnose (i.e they do diagnostic and therapeutic)
Sixtly, very few radiographers in Nigeria less than 10000 which kept the profession naturally immune to job competition with approximately automatic employment opportunity before or after graduation.
Let me not forget to add that with Radiography you can diversify into industrial Radiography that works in airports, oil companies and refinaries, Oceanography,veterinary hospitals etc...not the case with nursing

I am currently an Advanced Practioner Ultrasonographer in the UK, Which is a specialty under Radiography, i used to be a Radiographer before specialising in Ultrasound, where i was sponsored by my current hospital for post graduate course in Ultrasound, which has elevated me to 2 steps higher banding(from band 5 to 7).
From my experience here the work load for nurses is very demanding, with limited opportunities to progress to band 6 and 7. A Radiographer work load is not as demanding and you can upgrade to a CT,MRI, PET scan Radiographer and Sonographer.

so please between pharmacy and radiography which has better japa rate, and also do radiographers have high risk of cancer
