you are a joker. No one wants to attend a church headed by an Igbo man
Snakedoctor1: so freaking what? If he was born to the richest family in the world, he didnt have that weath thrown on him. He had a very humble early life . Please read the last sentences of the below picture.
Snakedoctor1: Are you kidding me? Pls you have an android phone or better still, Iphone? OK, go to Youtube and type "early life of Dangote". If I'm correct, some of his interviews are still on YouTube. Before Dangote got that start off capital you are citing in error, he said he was buying goods from one town and reselling I'm another as a mere boy with some paltry sum. What the Africa's richest man and of course the richest Blackman on earth is teaching us is here is passion as a catalyst to great achievement. That petty stuff he did positioned him for the big thrust when the money came. Those things he traded, he now manufactured. Please learn if you can.
you don't have an idea what you talking about
Aliko Dangote, an ethnic Hausa Muslim[4] from Kano, Kano State, was born on the 10th of April 1957 into a wealthy Muslim family,[5][6][self-published source?] the son of Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Sanusi Dantata. He is the great-grandson of Alhaji Alhassan Dantata, the richest West African at the time of his death in 1955
kozmokaz: If the government van just allow us to be armed like this eh... Trust me... Boko haram would have been a thing of the past!!
Imagine! Civilians in America is more armed than our soldiers here
what a joke. If you have an idea of the number of books Haram replicas you'll have round vthe Country you wouldn't wish for such. Go to black communities in Chicago and see how blacks are using guns to waste themselves
Snakedoctor1: You might think dad cared to that extent. Igbo man and his ego. Na him name him dey think of. How can my child be a petty electrical man? But that post smirks of some classified ignorance. What gave Yule the impression that he would not have done better in electrical line. Dangote started as a petty salesman. Com on. Our people sef. BTW, dad would have probably lost you to welfare or served some terms in civilized climes.
who told you dangote's started as a petty sales man? Dangot is from a wealthy family and was given a huge loan to start business. He also went to University
Please delete this post. So with the whole coronavirus disturbing the whole world especially the UK and Ireland this is the only thing that comes to your mind?
princdebola201: some Nigerians too will be forming tax payers lol. Vat is shared among three tiers of govt while FG takes 15%. FG dont recieve PAYEE from state civil servants , it belongs to state govt
European economy is built on tax.
Tax is 40% of Europe Gdp Tax constitue 90% of European Government Revenues .
What is tax percentage in Nigeria GDP Tax revenue for government in Nigeria is not even up to 30%.
Maybe buhari should order CBN to start printing dollars , euros and pounds to share as stimulus package
BluntTheApostle: No, you are wrong. The president is not as good as being the FG.
One can't rule out there being money, but the country is very corrupt that even the FG can be hoodwinked.
For instance, ghost workers and their accomplices have continued to hoodwink government since 1900. These accomplices have devised means through which they continue to earn money using names of even dead people.
And before the privatization of PHCN, even big companies were debtors, refusing to clear up electricity bills, while many households were using electricity illegally.
We blame our government, but can the average Nigerian compare himself to the average Canadian on the integrity scale? I
in most Western nation at this time refugees and illegal migrants are been taken care of!!! Food banks and all. Yet in. Nigeria bonafide Nigerian a have been abandoned to their fate . Oh the President isn't as good as the FG then how come abacha almost stole Nigeria raw? Can a YS president steal public funds?
BluntTheApostle: This is understandable considering that the size of our exclusive list in comparison with the concurrent list. The FG caters to far more sectors than the states, and as you know, it takes money to run these sectors. For instance, the FG caters to our prison services. They feed inmates in prisons all over the country, as well as pay employees of the prison services. The government also caters to the police and armed forces, including many paramilitary outfits. Don't also forget that taxpayers money are also used to finance our national assembly where each member goes up with huge amounts of money in bonuses.
The president is not the Federal Government. Don't forget that!!!
in Nigeria for your info the President is as good as been the FG. WHAT the FG keeps is excess to what it spends. Why do you think there's been an excess crude account since obasanjo? How come abacha stole so much yet all these agencies and parastatals were all funded? Thing is there's so much money lying with the FG and if well spent could take good care of Nigerians
BluntTheApostle: Federal government only gets 15% of the VAT you are talking about.
The states and local governments get the remaining 85%.
Revenue from PAYE is not really sufficient in Nigeria because many people outside government employment don't pay tax.
BBC says there are about 60 million Nigerians with employment, but less than 20 million pay tax.
So, how do you use such meagre taxes to cater to 80 million Nigerians that the World Bank says are extremely poor?
Remember that public enterprises are fairly priced. Who do you think is bearing the cost for giving value at low prices?
for your info the FG gets 52 percent of revenue while 36 states share 48 percent. Or why do you think politician wants to be President an every one wants to move to Abuja?
seunmsg: VAT is shared separately from other revenues that goes into the federation account. 85% of all VAT earnings are shared to state and local governments while FG only keeps a meager 15%.
You also talked about Pay as your earn (PAYE). Please note that PAYE is an aspect of personal income tax. Personal income taxes are collected by the state governments and not FG except those of military operatives and foreign service officers.
hope you also know that the FG keeps almost 52 percent of revenue and the 36 states get 48 percent. Or why do you think everyone wants to be President or why everyone wants to move to Abuja?

what a joke. Is the 15 percent not money? What happened to the billions of dollars made from oil? Like I stated even refugees in Europe get housing cheques food and even go to school free! Now a full blooded Nigerian gets nothing to stay at home in a period like this and you support the govt? You part of the people spoiling this country
Almost 86% percent of Nigeria has no idea what Value Added Tax is! Even the educated ones who must have come across it during their school days. We pay VAT in almost everything we purchase in this country and still government is using excuse of Nigeria not paying taxes to keep people in Hunger, whereas every citizen at one point in time pay indirect tax. Billions of revenue are gotten from indirect tax in almost non perishable goods we cons ume. I weep for this country
exactly we pay VAT almost everyday. Once you buy your indomie you've paid VAT!
Difrent: Ignorant and naive comment Educate yourself please and stop this foolishness, start by asking how much the tax revenue amounts to and how much of it is used in recurrent expenditure....... The fact is the tax collected and oil revenue is not enough to meet recurrent expenditure talk less carrying out any meaningful capital expenditure apart from buying vehicles and office equipments
and who told you the taxes collected in the UK are enough anyways?
you are the one without an idea. For your information the VAT is an indirect form of tax. Infact on every bottle of coke or beer you buy you pay VAT. You don't have to see it on your receipt. The company collects the VAR which is included in the price or payment and then remits to the FG
iswallker: So how much was the VAT on your last disco payment..
And I never see VAT figures on shopping mall payments - I am thinking you may help out to throw more light..

Even VAT can you show us evidence that you ever paid it.
do you pay your NEPA bills? I'm sure you do. Do you shop around supermarkets, or buy petrol at the filling station? Almost everyone does these stuff so what you talking about?
