Simple rule of Economics 101.
When Supply outstrips demand you have GLUT.
It is ironic that in this part of the world we still believe that the Europeans love us in every and any situation.
For every gram of favour they do Africans, there is tens of thousands of benefits to them in return.
Know this and have peace. |

Haven't you noticed that the only countries who's leaders speaks English are those from USA Canada and British ? It is totally untrue that English was imposed on us because AFRICANS were taken as slaves. Rather, the colonialists that colonised the various countries of African imposed their official languages on the various countries. Hence, you see Mali and Ivory coast speaking french, Angola speaking Portuguese etc. |

You see on TV where Ukrainians can even speak little English, or is the problem perculiar to Africans alone?
Some European countries won't give you job without speaking their language. Have you forgotten that English is the official language in Nigeria? Perhaps, govt agencies and ministries should adopt arabic when interviewing candidates or maybe WAEC and JAMB should translate all subjects to local languages? |

Same way some Nigerians are dead now because of their encounter with over- zealous military personnel. The major mistake most literate Nigerians are making is that they are over- rating some of this aspirants and in fact most people in position of authority. Take away PAs, SSA and the lots from most of them, you will discover how empty they are.

In 1993, during the Presidential Debate on NTA Network service between Abiola and Tofa, Tom Ikim and Nduka Obaigbena were on the side of Tofa. They asked them a question on how to bring exchange rate down and stabilize Naira. Tofa said, he would peg Naira to Dollar rate. Abiola said a Glasgow Trained Accountant can never say he would peg Naira to Dollar. He explained that there are factors that forces exchange rate, you analyse the factors and work upon them to control exchange rate.

Israeli072011: Filling a card dispute form takes 45 working days before you get any response, (that's if there would be a positive response) that's how the other day, my brother using Gtbank just started receiving debit alert from Kenya in dollar equivalent ON A ZERO ACCOUNT BALANCE OOH ( there was no money in the account) the Ops head said she has never experienced anything like that since she came to the bank. they debited him till the account got to -39k, that was when I called someone to block the account. after a while he received a credit alert that took the account back to #0.00 another time he received an alert of 38k.
Strange things happening in banks. I do not doubt your story. However, two things you stated here are not true: 1. It does not take 45 days to fill a card dispute form. 2. NO BANK has 45 days as it's dispute or issue resolution deadline. For goodness sake, there are CBN guidelines for some of these things. |
