What if Lesotho equalize at last minute? These guys need to wake up man!

Zimbabwe red card. Expect Bafana goal soon

yinkeys:
What of Rwanda

Them too. But SA are the frontrunner and will go for broke to make sure they won't lose that spot.

I expect news of our goal to reinvigorate Bafana. They will surely score soon.

Football hard ooo

TheSuperNerd:
Pls why Ekong dey overcelebrate Is 1-0 enough?? Come on get back and go for more goals!!!

BankyGee:
Them dey celebrate penalty keh 😭😭

Pidginwhisper:
See fools. Go carry ball, you wan celebrate pK.

Lol, they will now rest on this singular goal

Why does this team struggle to score goals??

Titans of Africa. Man of steel. Men of industry.

Dannyxy:
Chukwueze on form will always be very creative, Moses has done the same thing over and over, he gets it right 1 out of 50, he doesn’t defend as much, a wide player is always left unmarked on his wing, and have caused goals.

Moses should not be starting, he is always the first to remind us that we are watching super eagles with his one way traffic, nothing different, try to beat 5 players at the same time.

This is a chukwueze game.

How many times has this been said? That dude incredibly inconsistent. I'm still pissed off about his AFCON final performance

This is what happens federal character invades our footballing. These people aren't even Nigerian and they are hell bent on destroying our nation.

CapitalCee:
Today’s results so far is not really looking good for us in terms of runner up rankings

By the looks of it. No one from our group would finish top 4 in runner up rankings. That's what happens when you're in a competitive group.

Truth be told, America is the best place to be a Doctor. Highest salaries, highest amount of jobs and easiest pathways to medical school.

We shouldn't start Osimhen against Lesotho. Save him for Benin.

ChrisKels:
If Chelle fails to win these two remaining matches, I would be among those calling for his sack.

Agreed without reservation. He has already experienced enough games under his belt to get used to the team. The next two games are his ultimate test.

Gala needs to get a dedicated conditioning coach for Osimhen. We need him too ooooo

Osimhen needs to adopt CR7's training regimen and gain muscle. He gets banged up too often.

Damn, I thought we turned a page with our age grade teams. Oh well...

Elock1:
Let's be honest to ourselves
With this table, what is Naija chance of making it out?

Much greater than before. With the way this campaign has gone, to be only 3 pts behind the leaders is a miracle.

elyte89:
Breaking

Does this mean Lesotho gets the 3 points?

Ragingthunder:
There are doubts of osimhen availability vs alanyaspor nawa o

That is fine. No need to aggravate injury over backwater teams.

Pleased to see these performances from our U17s and U20s. Nature is healing.

Just look at the scenery in the background. Beautiful venue.

Is this an accomplishment worthy of front page?

Nacho assist

mekabuachi:
If those 3, points are deducted
Zimbabwe vs South Africa
How I wish Zimbabwe can just for once be useful and hold SA to a 0-0 draw
I know Rwanda will be hard for them
Ooh God for this for us😂😭💀

The group has been blown right open. This is the kind of football I live for

South Africa has one of the world's greatest cricket sides and arguably the best rugby union side in the world at the moment. Their success in those sports stem from world class training facilities, great administration and a robust university varsity sporting system. It was inevitable that all of these strengths would be parlayed into their footballing set up. Congrats to them on the eventual qualification.

Amaju Pinnick must be laughing right now

To summarize: Our guys may still move on to the next round provided that some of those 4 best 2nd place teams drop points and we win all of our next games.

We are no longer in the driver's seat.

Ragingthunder:
Is it impossible? Nigeria is on 11 points

Not really. We can win our next two games and hope either of the 4 teams on that log drop points. We can also hope for point deduction after removal of Eritrea. The guys should win the rest of their matches but it's out of our hands now.
