Reading at night sucks... not my style. |

Afolabi6046:Is their exam CBT or PPT? |

simplex2:God is weak. I can't still believe any being would dare an all-powerful God that way. When I hear about satan "fighting the saints of God" or something like "war in heaven" I'm always like "God's creation daring Him?" But it only makes sense when we read the story as fairy tale. |
astronautog:I do. I don't just accept every story about the supernatural without questioning. The more inquisitive I get the more I realize I live in a world of superstition. |
Adiwana:Yh. It's very serious. Victims need a critical diagnostic test, and a prevention from further psychological problems. Let's help them. |
astronautog:Witches? I only hear of them but haven't seen any. Where people got the ideas of witch was from stories... which are just stories, fictional ones. The ones practised in real life are mere superstitions. None of them is real. If there's a witch we should see her handwork; control leaders, destroy every soul that offends her, have wealth and all. The only instance where they are active is in dreams; get hallucinated and attribute it to a spiritual force. Why don't animals ask themselves how they got here? They are smarter than that. |
brainiac007:and God being omniscient knew beforehand that the ability to choose between good and evil would eventually be disastrous. Being programmed as rebots would be better. No one would go to hell. We'll all do good, praise Him, worship Him, He becomes our God, we become His people. And that's love. He shouldn't be childish; creating imperfect beings and expecting all of them to turn good. |
Youngsage:If Satan was created blameless and pure, but yet sinned... Then God "should take heed lest He falls" |
ayoku777:Only a delusional fo0l would think otherwise. Now to the scripture you quoted and to your question. To summarize the boring lecture, egeiro simply means to arouse and anastasia means to raise from the dead. Sometimes if the writer intends to use egeiro with connection to a resurrection he could write "egeiro from the dead" which is equivalent to anastasia in meaning. While this formular is utterly true, our lecturer erroneously took it for a point to support his claim. His claim was since the author of Matthew didn't add "from the dead" to egeiro, which means "to rouse", then the author wasn't talking of a real resurrection. It becomes apparent that our lecturer hasn't read diverse textbooks (different translations of the Bible), and for all his whole life he has only one kind that has been his anchor (KJV), and that's too bad. So I don't need to post much stories. Only one different translation of Matthew 27:52 and your claim falls on its face. The NIV has the verse as: "and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life The NLT has the verse as: "and tombs opened. The bodies of godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead and we have this Internation Standard Version having the verse as: "tombs were opened, and many saints who had died were brought back to life It was after Jesus rose from the dead, that the spirits and souls of these saints also entered their bodies; and they came out of their graves like Jesus.and we have realized that your claims are off the points. Those saints came back to life in the author's allegation. And it's highly suspect. Now to your hillarious answers Now to your other questions. We let him go in this one. 2 and 3: How come it wasn't mentioned by Josephus or Paul? The incident is too miraculous to escape history. The fact that Josephus and Paul didn't mention it shows that it could have never been a reality. Philo who lived in the supposed lifetime of Jesus never mentioned such an astonishing incident. He never for once even mentioned the name Jesus. Did Paul mention the multiplication of bread and fish by Jesus? Did he mention his walking on water or even turning water to wine?Paul never claimed to have witnessed a flesh and blood Jesus. He got his ideas from a spirit Jesus. You know who Gnotics are? Does that mean the miracles or the stories were fabricated too?Sincerely, they were. 5: Who did they appear to?We let him go in that one too. 6: Where did they go to after appearing to people in the city?jeez... Ascended? Shouldn't that be recorded too, by Josephus, Philo and Paul? Your guess doesn't work mate. 7: Don't you think the saints would have made the best evangelists?Go back to your foundation. Your answers are misleading. |

Weselion:We are taught that we have two kind of spirits in us; good and bad. For every good action the good spirit is involved. For every bad action a deceiver is involved, the bad spirit. Satan fell a victim of yielding to the bad spirit. And the bad spirit is? oh remind me?? ![]() |

Hmmm Franky. You think that is all the Bible has to say ![]() FrancisTony:Nah, not really. For as long as this instruction isn't given in the NT it isn't worth following. Diehard Catholics. You guys have forgotten what Paul says that "finding fault with the Old Testament/Covenant" He (God) decided to make a new one saying, "I'll make a New Covenant with them. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them out of the land of Egypt." So brother, tell me how this is a pagans tradition?. Only protestants who are not practising it, that should be accused from deviating away in what the Lord our God has told us to obey. Paul doesn't stop there, he says since He has made "a New Covenant" which is "not written with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart." 2 Cor 3:3 He "has made the first old" and "that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." Jews and Catholics are just wasting their time, perhaps offending their God too, by living under the OT which has been done away on the cross. Your use of Luke doesn't make a point here, as that's just a mere passage and not an instruction to be followed. Proverb 15:8- The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD,Can't remember the exact proverb. It says something like, "You can only force a camel to the river. But you can't force it to drink." Even if the upright prays on behalf of this person who is still wicked the prayer would have no effect. If it would then God has somewhat answered the prayer of this wicked through the prayer of the upright and therefore making God a man of not His words. What does Ezekiel 18:20b say? "the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." Remember, Abraham prayed for Sodom that if peradventure God found 10 righteous men that He shouldn't destroy it. God agreed not to destroy it only if He would find 10 righteous men. Unfortunately for Sodom, there were no 10 righteous men, so God destroyed it. The righteous had prayed, it's left for the wicked to turn from his ways. You guys distort that verse. Its true meaning is only the prayer of the upright will be answered for himself. And the wicked's will be rejected. Number21:8-9and the fun starts ![]() Exodus 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Leviticus 26:1 “You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am theLordyour God. Acts 17:29 Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. Deuteronomy 4:16-19 Beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth. And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven. Isaiah 42:8 I am theLord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols. Glory to Mithras 25th on my mind. One more Franky... "Christ is the end of the law; righteousness to everyone who believes." Modified |
godunia:So you've gained admission? You don't sound like one. Your second advice doesn't pass a sense. Your telling me it's impossible to face my studies while at the same staying on NL. I think you guessed wrong about everyone not being able to work with his/her senses by setting time to be serious with studies and separating some time for fun. Bro, not everyone is like you, huh. Whenever you wan'a give an advice again be sure it's updated, not old-fashioned boring one. |

osazekid:The first, second, third and fourth choice are... just choices. Fill whatever institution you want. Your first choice could be a uni, poly, coe etc. Same rule goes for the second, third and fourth. For better understanding: You can make your form like this First Choice > OAU Second Choice > Yabatech Third Choice > Adeyemi College of Education Fourth Choice > Any kind of innovation. OR First Choice > Ibadan Poly Second Choice > Lasu Third Choice > Ifo College Of Technology Fourth Choice > Any type of innovation. It doesn't matter which institution you put first, be it a university, polytechnic etc. Just as the names imply; your first choice ( which institution do you want most) your second choice after that... and so on. |
kayalcomp:I reason with you. But change sometimes might not mean what we intend it to mean. I believe you would prefer this present state to a state where you hands and feet get cut off for not being a Muslim. Where you start living in fear and under the cruelity of sharia law. Change is not going to happen overnight. It's growing. Give GEJ another chance, his government will improve than this. Just support him and let's fight for our country together, it's not a man's job. Team GEJ. GREAT PEOPLE GREAT NATION. We will make it. |
Abuamam:It's obvious you didn't read the whole post before your head started getting hot and thus couldn't tolerate the truth of the post that you jumped down here to post rubbish. Take heart bro. I feel your pain. |
As Muhammadu Buhari emerged as winner of the APC flagbearer, major stakeholders in the country have been giving their opinion on the matter. Latest to talk about Major General Buhari’s win is former colleague now PDP affiliate, The former Nigerian minister Femi Fani Kayode. Femi Fani Kayode went to his facebook and wrote how he feels about the declaration of the former winner. He also accused Buhari of trying to implement sharia law in the country divided by two major religion. Full statement below Major General Mohammadu Buhari has emerged as the APC flagbearer and President Goodluck Jonathan has emerged for the PDP. Now the battle for the soul and future of our nation begins. The forces of light shall surely prevail over the forces of darkness and God’s counsel alone shall stand over Nigeria. I stand with Jonathan. Let’s get it on. ”Jihadi groups killed more than 5,000 people last month, with Iraq topping the league table of deaths, followed by Nigeria, Afghanistan and Syria. In 664 incidents recorded in November by the BBC World Service and researched jointly with King’s College London, the overall death toll was 5,042, or an average of 168 deaths per day and nearly twice the number of people who were killed in the 11 September 2001 attacks on America. After Iraq, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Syria, Yemen was fifth in the deadly league table, tying with Somalia, with 37 incidents each”- DORO ADEBENTLEY 11 December, Facebook. All this and some people still say they want Buhari as President? A man who said, only last year, that ”an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north”? A man who said, in 2001, that he wants to ”spread sharia throughout the federation”? A man who said, in 2001, that muslims should only vote for muslims”? A man who said, in 2001, that ”why should christians be concerned when muslims cut off their limbs under sharia”?. A man who said, in 2001, that ”after all the limbs that are being cut off are muslim ones and not christian so why should the christians bother about it”? This is the man that some Nigerians are clamouring for to be their President? May God open their eyes and protect them from themselves. May He grant them wisdom and discernment. Fani-Kayode is a Nigerian politician, essayist, poet and lawyer. He was a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was with the opposition’s All Progressive Congress (APC) until June 2014 when he returned to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party. http://www.naij.com/342224-dont-forget-buhari-wanted-to-spread-sharia-throughout-the-federation-ffk.html |
Gombs:Remember that God is a spirit. If He had died for the sin of the world in the spiritual sense it would be of no merit to man. For that cause He had to come in human form (Jesus) to cancel man's debt in the flesh. So we see that the redemption of man was initially impossible because God was a spirit. Not until when he became flesh was the redemption of man possible. My point is you said that Satan could not be forgiven because s/he was/is not a man, i.e he's a spirit, and so God's justice should not be questioned, but your claim isn't reasonable enough. The truth is God chose not to forgive Satan. He only chose to forgive man by going far as becoming a man (Jesus). It was God's choice to do so. He's not living by example of "forgiving our enemies even when they wrong us". His own words go against Him and He's not worth calling God. He should have demonstrated this kind of love He's preaching by simply dying for Satan in the spirit too, then His justice, in that aspect, is commendable. |

Joshthefirst:What verse I'm I taking out of context? Isn't that what the context is trying to explain? We are to accept the fact that we were created with the nature of sin, the ability, the desire to sin, and at the same time the ability to be good. God created everything that does exist; good and evil. For every action that we make, wheather good or evil, God is responsible. For if He doesn't want us to be evil He shouldn't have created evil. But now that He has created evil He surely wants you to be evil. If He doesn't, why then did He create evil? |
see rules god punish devil/satan satan punish god/jesus ![]() |
Since the fact holds that every religion opposes other religions thoroughly and, sometimes, violently the reality of religion unifying is implausible, thus it's divisive. |
gatiano:You know what? Just shush your mouth and stop talking rubbish... I wonder where you read in history that Islam once granted the freedom of black people from slavery when all they want is to have power over everyone so that everyone lives by their senseless sharia law, hence slavery... god punish devil |
