I guess you would want your man to do the same for you but you find it unromantic to do for your man. Hypocrisy at its peak.

I pity those that will take you seriously

Politics / Re: Why The Crowd That Welcomed Atiku In Kano Means Nothing To Me by Prales(m): 11:37am On Feb 11, 2019
Hmmmmmm, all these paid political analysts. February 16 is almost around the corner.

midolian:
1. The crowd is nothing compared with the crowd that welcomed Buhari

2. The capacity of the campaign venue is a maximum of 40,000. If out of the millions of registered voters in Kano, a meagre 40,000 came to grace the rally, it shouldn’t mean anything to those who use reason.

3. Assuming #5000 was given to each person at the campaign venue (as alleged in some quarters and confirmed by some people in the Kwankwasiyyah group), a piffling sum of #200,000,000 would have been more than enough to gather such crowd.
I call this piffling not because I am wealthy but because Atiku spent much more than that during the PDP presidential primaries. He was confirmed to have given each delegate $5,000. Atiku got a total number of 1,532 votes during the PDP presidential primaries, so I will be limiting my calculation to this number on the assumption that those who voted for him were the only beneficiaries of the money (which can’t be true). If $5,000 was given to a delegate, the total amount spent would have been at least 2.7billion naira... (I used 360 as the exchange rate)

4. What he spent on just a hundred and fifty delegates can garner much more people than we saw yesterday. As we all know, the PDP is a party filled with people who are media freaks and would do anything to have a good image on social media rather than in reality.

5. What should be worrisome to the PDP(if they are thoughtful) is the fact that over 90% of the crowd were on red caps, which means if you don’t belong to the kwankwasiyyah movement, there is high likelihood that you don’t do Atiku..

6. A friend of mine who happens to belong to this movement told me clearly yesterday that, even if they were not paid, majority of them would have gone to welcome Atiku and cronies just because they wouldn’t want Kwankwaso to be disgraced...but this doesn’t change the fact that those who will be voting for Buhari in the presidential election are in the majority.

7. Kano State is so populated that even if the devil goes there for campaign, he would get at least 30,000 people to welcome him.

Thank you

You need to seriously reset your mind from thoughts like this, otherwise you will have serious relationship problem in future. With thoughts like this, you will always suspect your spouse even when her intentions are pure. Jokes apart.

In the name of making and posting comments, see how we are unsuspectingly encouraging the killing of another. No wonder the Holy Bible says that the heart of man is desperately wicked. Keep doing what you know best - hate speech. One day, you will face your maker and explain.

Family / Re: My Family Treats Her Bad And Now My Wife Wants To Leave Me by Prales(m): 11:59am On Apr 26, 2017
Two things, you either choose your wife or your family. But you will be very unreasonable to destroy your home on account of your family. I guess some of your family members are married. Will they be willing to sacrifice their respective homes (wives/husbands, or even girl/boy friends) for the general family? If no, then draw the line and mend things with your wife, especially now that you guys have a child. My take, though.

deleSayo:
Since I married my wife, we noticed signs subtle signs that my family dont like her.

From day one of introducing her to the family, my elder brother's wife treated her with so much disrespect and everyone else followed suit. We ignored this and proceeded to marry.

For trad wedding, I gave money to my parents to help purchase the items for her bride price but on the day,  I was pained to see that the items were significantly incomplete (my wife noticed this too and kept it in her heart). She later told me that she saw my parents looking bored at the church wedding;as if they couldnt wait to leave. I was surprised because I saw that too but thought my wife hadn't noticed.

When we fell pregnant, they failed to acknowledge my wife's pregnancy throughout until the birth of the baby. Furthermore, my mother failed to show up for omugwo, leaving us alone to care for the newborn child.

All these things have built up resentment in my wife. She takes out the frustration on me. Things are so bad that my wife has completely isolated herself from all members of my family. She refuses to communicate with them or attend any functions.

Recently, I got wind that she is making secret plans to abscond with our baby and go live with her mother who is based abroad. Please I dont want to lose my wife. She's the best thing that ever happened to me but I can see clearly that she now despises both me and my family.

The marriage is in shambles. She believes that I failed to defend and protect her. not that I didnt feel the pain. Its just that I didnt know how to handle the situation. Please how can I resolve this?

Politics / Re: FG, States’ Revenue To Dip Further As NNPC Seeks To Use Royalties, To Fund JVS by Prales(m): 8:56am On Sep 28, 2016
I just dey laugh at all the comments above. None actually understood what NNPC is trying to do. Oil companies have been starved of funds by the government for the past three (3) or so years. The JV agreement requires government contribute 60% while oil companies contribute 40% to run their affairs. This the government has not done for a long time even though they have been collecting profits therefrom.

Most oil companies have refused to drill oil since last year or two (2) prompting the sack of so many oil workers (most people that work in Projects) due to redundancy. The sack exacerbated with the Niger Delta militancy issues.

For most people that do not know, the problems we have with the oil industry is partly due to NDA issues and largely because of government's refusal to honour its JV agreement with the oil companies.

To me, this move by NNPC is welcome development.

Guy, if your wife is working, then no problem. If not, forget it. Secondly, whats the job prospects of your current job? How long do you think you can remain on the salary scale? Do you have other business (es) aside he job?

Bottomline is that if that's the only source of income for your home, please don't settle down with that kind of amount.
