When somebody sees a dark sky and tells you there will be rainfall do you call that PROPHESY? ![]() |
Liverpool are brimming in confidence at the moment courtesy of the 2-0 win over the week end. they might field in a slightly weaker team today but i still think they will win the match today. @ dudu abeg for where NI office dey for preston no vex. |
I will go for Drogba any day any time. The both have a fantastic goal scoring record when they are in form but drogba helps the defence and thats something torres and some other strikers cannot do(i stand to be corrected). I don't want to talk about injury plague. I will have DD in my team always. |
as @ 57mins chelsea 1 0 QPR. goal from kalou. UP BLUES, |
At 78 you leave her in bed end of story |
Pls, we is still wait for the stylplus sangs you said you will sang for us. abeg abeg am tired of wait. |
From your story, I think you did not get the other job because you were so smart or intelligent, it is because there is a hand of God in it. so hold on to the job you have for now and never return to the former. the glory of the latter shall be greater than that of the former, thou it might take a while but it will surely come through. |
Please i will like to know if there are any persons in the house who are either an alumni, present or intending graduate student of lancaster university. i have a few questions for you about the school |
michelin89:Do you also have a baby for him? mahal:Really? ![]() |
bullshit what of big brother uncut? |
Tayo-UK:Rio? you must be joking cause he is hardly fit for crucial games, if it is not calf then it will be groin, both Ferguson and Capello are looking for replacement for him already |
@ poster, the same story we heard when Micheal essien was about to come back from injury, but what happened, the young man kept playing and the only role left was shared BTW essien and ballack. all you Mikel haters cant you see that you have lost the battle a long time ago? |
walata44:And who says Nigerians are not in Abuja. if the inhabitants of mararaba and lugbe FHA storm the stadium then there might not be space left. |
the 200,000 dollars incentive for super eagles is a big fat lie, very impossible. and @crystal, you mustn't be the originator of all the threads so stop redirecting unnecessarily. |
donpapa:copy and paste. thats my team anyday any time. |
the reasons are obvious 1. security is very important 2.State of the art technology is also taken into consideration. so i think it is not just about the place where you have the most people but it is about the people who claim to be supporters. My friend travels from Lancaster to Stanford bridge every time Chelsea has a home game. that is what i call support. |
then am off to London to snatch her LOL |
Tonto's face on mercy's body will do |
akinalabi:yea you are right i meant to say 18 appearances in premiership this season. http://www.skysports.com/football/player/0,19754,11667_246035,00.html thanks for the correction. |
The Abuja national stadium has become like a fortress for the national eagles of late and want to believe that we will have a good run against the Kenyans so i expect us to win because they will use high altitudes and temperature against us when we get to their home |
dayokanu: that's not the crux in this thread. what we are discussing here is racism in football and if it actually exits and not goals disqualifications or threats on referees. |
And the worst eleven goes to, GK. Jones (midlesbrough) Conceded silly goals. he is the difference BTW the team that troubled the top 4 last season and the club that went on relegation this season. RB. Wes brown. make no mistakes about this one, he is a very good defender but almost nonexistent this season. LB. Wayne bridge Moved from Chelsea and everyone thought it was a move to gain regular play but has failed to book a place there also even though he earns 100k a week. CD. Tal ben Haim. moved from Bolton to Chelsea to man city and then sunderland. Please where does he play now? ![]() CD. Richard Dunne Highest goal scorer but against his own goal keeper Midfielders (in no particular order) David Bentley. apparently he annoyed the coach because i don't see any reason why he should not be playing after scoring a spectacular goal against arsenal in the managers debut in totenham(moved from Blackburn for 17m pounds). Nani. sir has tried to cope with the guy this season. gives away the ball too cheaply and when substituted he gets angry. another waste of investment(was bought for around 17m pounds from sporting Lisbon) Owen Hargreaves. I cant remember the last time he played for man utd. maybe the game he scored a dummy free kick against arsenal last season. please where is he now?. Tomas rosicky. Picks up injury only during training and never hears about his rehabilitation. i guess the economist is tired with the lad. even Eduardo way break/twist his leg don come back from injury. Strikers. i give it to the 2 most expensive players in England. (your guess is as good as mine.) Dimitar bertatov(30.75m pounds) and Robinho(34m pounds). they both did not play up to expectation and finally proved they are not worth half their price. Coach. Rafa benitez. Criticized all the top 3 other coaches at one point or the other. controls good football within the team but kicked off at crucial games and left with no trophies this season despite being the 3rd club to spend more this season. |
am a chelsea fan and i will like the folling line ups. 1. petr cech. 2.douglas(rb) currently with inter milan. 3.clichy (lb) cental defenders- alex(chelsea) and hangeland(fulham) DM -yaya toure iniesta and lampard in the heart of the mid field. and then tores and david villa should pair upfront. then any small growing prospect can make-up the list make e no be like say na only stars i want. and less i 4get guus as coach. |
Tùdor:six goals, point of correction, and only 18 starts in all competition this season. |
drogba can go if he so desires, soldier go soldier come come barracks no go empty by my assessment he is to blame for Chelsea's defect in the finals last year and he the semis this year. there are other lethal strikers who will be willing to move to Stanford bridge. |
~Sauron~:Evra did all of this but could not mark AARON LENNON |
tocdee:Unfortunately the best goal keeper in epl is not judged only by the amount of saves you make, but the amount of clean sheets you keep and the amount of goals you net in on the average. i totally agree with you when you say the likes of harper, given and jaskelinen have done well but you have to take into consideration their goal against stats. am a fan of cech truly, but i think van der sar is the best this season even though he owes a lot to his defenders. |
The champions league semi final 2nd clash BTW Chelsea and Barcelona witnessed yet another dramatic turn in Stanford bridge and in all fairness Chelsea were robbed by the referee on several occasions. the Barcelona side although had a better share of the possession but it was Chelsea who made goo use of the 1st attempt on goal with Mikael essien scoring a spectacular goal inside ten minutes. Although Chelsea had other clear-cut opportunities to wrap up the game even after the referee refused to award penalties to Chelsea on three different occasions. Dani alves brought malouda down inside the area, Gerald pique and Samuel etoo both stopped the ball with there hands and with the referee in the vicinity decided that none was worthy of a penalty. what a robbery in London. Even though Chelsea on there own part had a little of the blame for not taking there chances when they had it and getting a little complacent towards the end of the match allowing Barcelona to score with there FIRST SHOT ON TARGET IN THE 92ND MINUTE, i still believe that the officiating was just too unfair. To me, the best side lost the game. AND TO THE DELIGHT OF FIFA, THEY HAVE CREATED THE FINAL THEY WANTED. LIONEL MESSI vs CHRISTIANO RONALDO. denying the fans an all English final. |

switch47:I thought you were smart. I only wanted to let you know that there is a bit of everything in all the clubs |
