simeonabio: mr adesida don't discredit other people work or method all because of the material you want to sell. You have stated your own method. Let the readers/viewers make their own choice. Mr straneur has lifted lifted the veil from people eye.Oh!I'm not discreting other people work. Anyway!thanks for that and it's your choice to decide on which one to go for. |

Great input from everyone in here but you've really make me like ![]() I've just concluded to use the site that way as I finally decide or design another site for a new concept building the theme from scratch. I really appreciate everyone that has contributed in one way or the other especially those that contacted me. I've archived your details and I will surely get in touch soon for the execution of my new project. Keep up the good works and I'm sure that nairalanders must have learnt alot as well from this thread.Thumbs Up.... |
tubiz: yawa-ti-de I get your points. I always recommend building a theme from scratch than customizing an existing one. From the look of things,it seems it will be great I go for that designed from scratch or what do you people think though I as well thought of that as well but I'm sure everyone will so much love the properties embedded in the theme that I'm currently which is one the reason I'll love it to be customised. I'm as well now discouraged that I'm going to loose every customization done once I upgrade the theme with latest version meaning I will also need to incur another payment and time to get it re-customized. |
@tubiz 1) Sometimes it is worth spending a little more money to make money 2) $60 might seem like a huge investment now but that could easily triple when you consider the time spent to customize the one file. Always look at and consider time spent as well. Time is money. Spending another $60 to buy a top quality theme or even paying a developer more than that to develop something good might end up being the cheapest alternative in the long run. Just my humble opinion
Thanks so much for your contributions so far. What is your piece of advice in the netshell? |
cbrass: If you are not satisfied with the theme go and download another...you should have said this in the first place that it was a wordpress.. Its a tedious taskTedious to work on the CSS of wordpress theme? You must be joking as I even did some modifications on it yesternight changing colours and some other things via the style.css file and I should have just perfected everything myself but I want a professional touch. Not that I'm not satisfied with the theme but I want it to have a stunning look and moreover,I bought the theme for $59.9 and it is not free but a premium. |
KnightsTemplar: When you do a factory reset, your files and programs will be affected(deleted). That is why the system advices you to backup prior to a factory reset. If the system is booting to windows, I will advice you use a flash drive to backup our files before you do a reset. But in the situation that your system does not boot, u need to take it to a tech that will host your hardisk to another system and backup your files, before doing a reset. No need to do what I bolded above as he can do that himself. |
tubiz: Just to correct something here. The site is powered by WordPress and this is the theme that is currently installed and active on the siteThumbs up as I'm getting some facts. Can you get this work done? |
To those who intend to take on the job: Note that this is a WP site and so you will need more than the style.css, index.html and images. You will probably need FTP access to the account hosting the site, including admin access to the WP back end. good luck!
Great as I love this. |
cbrass: You also need to send the index.html page and the images folder so I can view the effect of the changes. Send it to mail@naitalk.comIt is on a wordpress platform. I want the job completed at most within 48hrs. Tell me your fee and I will negotiate though I know the amount I have on ground for it. Apology for my late response. |
Good day fellow nairalanders especially the greatest website designers and developers. I designed www.ijamsolution.com myself including the backend and I want the site to have a stunning look but I'm not that good in CSS. I need an expert in CSS to work on the style.css file to give the site a stunning and I'm ready to paid cool sum of money for the best work.I initially planned giving the work to someone whom I've already paid N10,000 yesternight as upfront payment but I've decided to make it like a contest for anyone good in CSS to kindly show forth and come up with great modification of the style.css file. I will give out the style.css file to any interest expert(s) and hardwork cum expertise will surely be compensated. Looking forward to seeing CSS experts showcasing in here please. |

Dual Core: I have spent just about 5 minutes on it. What are your reviews? I am not impressed (I cannot see any new functionality), the site's page load time just went up by about 10 times. Things which took about 2 seconds or less to load up in the former interface now take several seconds. In fact I refreshed nairaland about 9 times on a different browser tab while waiting for my transaction page on the internet banking site to load once.I'm not impressed at all.Not able to check transactions in my account as I've been waiting for minutes for a page to respond. I even called GTCONNECT and he was telling me that everything is okay with it. |
Kayode Leke: Xtrim Business Solutions provide the services of opening a paypal for nigerian and even giving them a US debit MasterCard wich is connected to the paypal account for easy withdral in Nigerian ATM machines. You are only kidding. Do you think getting that PayPal mastercard is easy. You need to provide SSN if you don't know plus some other vital information. |
anex4real: I have been using this for the past one year, the charges on every funding using umobile is #105. Ask any question and I can fund your account for you if you want, what you will privide me to fund your account is the last four digit of ur card and the customer Id on the card which always start with four zero.Great one as I do offer this service as well but note that some africards will not receive the money as it will be bouncing back. |
isaactolu: Although domain name business has been around for a while, recently it is becoming popular in Nigeria. domain flipping is the easiest online business and also the most profitable with potential profit of between 100% and up to 10000% sometimes even more than that. if done properly and patience is applied, you can make it big with this online venture. a domain name bought or registered with $10 can be sold for up to $10,000 or even more than that, although i must warn that this kind of scenario dont happen frequently and when it does happen it require lot of work and technique but a domain name bought with $10 can easily be sold for $50 which is an amazing 400% profit.Great and which of the expired domains software i.e software for detecting expired domains which will as well be showing additional infornation like backlink, rank and many more are you using? I have a powerful which I'm willing to give out for free to the first 10 people to show interest. |

Their system seems to be okay now as I fund my acccount with 1,500 using my uba africard and it was credited instantly unlike before though I did that just to test. |
Most of you would want law enforcement agents to give you a break or the benefit of the doubt when caught driving without correct particulars, so you should be ashamed for being the judge and jury for this police officer, who is charged to protect you, by the way. How are you sure that he did not roll up tobacco to save of cost of cigarettes? Many of these fine officers have given their lives to protect you. Not all of them are criminals. Give the man a break! Most of you who have concluded that what you see in the pic is weed, are most likely d ope heads and weed smokers anyway.
What is he even saying and in which language? ![]() |
No, it's Bill Gates. He has overtaken Slim according to Blomberg
You people are here argueing who the world richest man is when my own cerebrum has been thinking of how to be the world richest man in my own time. Keep argueing or betterstill, join me in the race but you can never outrun me. |

dryakson: I know Many Will never belive it but it is true.Don't mind people as it do happen. Was it not on Tuesday's afternoon that I checked my UBA account balance with my UMOBILE & I saw N65,000 plus whereas I only had N4,000 plus in it paid by a client of mine the previous day. But lucky for them that I was so busy that day that I was only able to check my account balance in the afternoon and network was bad then and if not,I should have ![]() ![]() but I later got to check my account some minutes later and got to observe that the money has dissappeared away from my account leaving behind my N4,000 plus.I know of a friend that got alert of N50,000 into his account,he went to complain but the bank told him that he his the owner of the money and the guy spent the money without having any issue up till today close to a year now but at least,he has lodged in the complain even if any issue will arise later. My piece of advice for you as a patriotic Nigerian is to go to your bank's branch to let them know. In addition to that, play safe and be wise. |
ajf: Yeah, one of the best 'UNIVERSITY' indeed........I comment my reserve... ![]() |
Hello Segun, Thank you for using taafoo.com and we do appreciate your patronage. We recently experienced a network failure in account funding process, we got a number of complaints and resolved them immediately. It is unfortunate that yours was not included, we sincerely apologise and would still appreciate your continued patronage. Your account has been credited with 1500 naira which you funded it with, do check and go ahead with sending your sms. Thank you Customer care team
I noticed that my taafoo account was credited with N1,500 instead of N750 as I only paid N750 with my Visacard on the 17th. It seems you people are not having adequate records in your database or what is that suppose to mean but I assume that you people are using it to compensate me.If not,let me know what I will need to do.Thanks |
