wait till tayo wakes up 2mrw to give his own version ![]() whatever you are doing, never go near those red necks in rural america. they are really bitter. when u see a man weep in front of a camera, b/c a black man was seriously running for president. note that at that time the election had not taken place o. some were planning to leave the country if obama wins. there is real bitterness. if they have a chance, they wont hesitate to take out obama. bringing guns to townhalls, hitler photos to healthcare debate, tea party protest when taxes were reduced , a pastor praying that obama should die, obama should be careful.that is why i was worried about hillary being VP, b/c her supporters in the primaries were also somewhat bitter at the time, and the ''lone wolf'' may want to take it out to make her president through the back door ![]() |
a sorry situation. what ignorance and prejudice can cause. these same people constitute the tea bag protesters. these same people are the town hall warriors. these same people all watch fox news. these are the people tayo d thinks are in the same ideology with him ![]() all white people |

i really pity these obama haters. from the campaign to his presidency . . like hillary said, even if obama walks on water, these people will complain about why he cant swim . . even though i hate that b_tch ![]() |

@negro-ntns if u thought the economy which took yrs to destroy can be rebuilt in 6 months by another man, you are dreaming. better wake up fast. the new administration is taking new steps and we must watch and see where it will lead the country. so far, it seems, the economic downslide has slowed. i'm no economist but i hear the recovery will be long and tortous. dont ask my why. but easy man. this guy is giving his best, bearing the circumstances. as for him folding his campaign for that woman to be the nominee . . . . . sorry that never happened and even after he won the nomination and wanted a vice president . . . . sorry again not her . . . not now, never her ![]() Obama is the president. he has four yrs, after which he'll go for re-election. if he cant win, the republicans return, but never hillary. not now, not ever ![]() |

davidif:they can go by different identity in different generations but their character is the same. white supremacists based mostly in the deep south. in the I800s they found peace in the democratic party. the democratic party emanated from jeffersons democratic-republicans which andrew jackson modified to bring forth the so-called jacksonian democracy which is the democratic party we know today (the jackass symbol of the dems came from a satire against president jackson being potrayed as a jackass . . lol) the white supremacists were confortable in this party and both jackson and jeffersons owned slaves. the abolitionists came from a split in the whigs and in the I850s formed a new party called the republican party. they won the war, ended slavery, ruled the nation and controlled the wealth. but the slave owning supremacists remained in the democratic party in the I930s FDR made great changes in policy which angered a lot of white supremacists and as if that was not enough, JFK, and then LBJ came with civil rights laws, voting rights, immigration reform etc. this infuriated the white supremacists of the democratic party and when the ''freed'' blacks now rushed en masse to the democratic party that gave them these new rights, the white supremacists left the party in their numbers and were wellcome by the republican party. so these poeple have different political affiliation in different generations but their character is basically the same:racism. in this generation, they are found mostly in the republican party. |
@tayo d i say make u no kill me, yet u wan kill me with laff ![]() melchiwetin? me, primate primate melchi-wetin? ![]() |
no kill me o ![]() |
@tayo even God gave us a choice. to love him OR not to love him In the book of deuteronomy chapter 30:I5 you will read where God gave humanity two options:Good and Evil, he went on to advice his children to follow the good path. if u start reading from chapter 28 u get the background picture. but we as human beings have a choice given to us by God. a choice over 90% of humanity is abusing, unfortunately. but note that God did not force us to love him, he allowed us to love him on our own volition. that is why it is a wonderful thing to love Him. if God gives us a choice to love him or to hate him, can we really force people to do good? eh? oga pharisee, will u force someone to be holy? the doctors and women who do these things, apart from therapeutic abortions to save a woman's life, will answer to God, and not to the GOPharisee |
and by the way, now that he is dead, i guess the weaklings in congress called democrats will get even weaker in the presence of a few republican minority congressmen. |
Tayo-D:mr tayo d its comforting to know that in the whole post i made u sigled out one line to criticise. this means u agreed to the rest of the post. till further notice. with regards to ur comment, i agree-----another huge difference between you and me, i am not ashamed to accept when i'm wrong. the civil rights bills was opposed by democrats and republicans as well. but dont forget that the calibre of people we have in the republican party of today, emanated from the politics of the civil rights era. these are the people who were very bitter with president johnson for signing the civil rights bill and giving the bloody niggers voting rights et al, the left the democrat party and rushed over to the opposition republican party. these white supremacists were mostly white southerners, offsprings of the civil war loosers. they left and even president johnson was said to have lamented . . ''we have just handed over the south to the republicans'' . . .a political picture that we see today. so in a way, i was not substantially wrong when i say the ''republicans'' opposed the civil rights bill in the 60s, it is these same ''cabal'' of republicans that opposed the bill in the 60s, only some of them were in the democrat party. as per ur issue of abortion and senator kennedy. i really need to remind you holy pharisees that the democrat party is not ''pro-abortion'' but ''pro-choice''. they mean different things. i am not in favor of abortions. but if a woman wants to kill her baby for no just cause, I am not God to control her body. it is her choice, she will answer to God. not me. pro-choice is different from pro-abortion. kennedy did a lot of good, but if you choose, even at this moment of his death, to remember his faults and imperfection, then mr tayo, i am ashamed of you as a fellow african, b/c regardless of how long you've been in america, our culture discourages saying evil about people who just died . . .at least for the sake of their survivors. not even for abacha. |
teddy was a hero. he was not perfect. nobody is. he did a lot of things that were wrong . . . that's why he is human. the young lady that died in his car was an accident(unlike the over I00,000 people who died in irak which was not an accident but a stupid invasion fuelled by greed from the republicans), he messed up, he was panicky and took the wrong decisions with fatal, debatably unforgiveable conseguences. he was in a f-cked up situation and his family came to the rescue. too bad. but that was 40yrs ago, get over it finally, most of the nincompoops saying rubbish about him today in this thread should realise that kennedy was part of the struggle in the United States Senate in the 60s that helped push immigration reform which enabled the nincompoops in this thread to come to the US to make noise. apart from that, He was also a strong voice in the senate for civil rights which enabled blacks, even blacks with nigerian names to have a say in the US . . . . . a move opposed vehemently by the republican party at that time . . .and even now ![]() while we may talk about his downside, let us not ignore his good side . . and as jesus would say . . . ''he who is without sin, should cast the first stone'' now i dont think conservative haters will cast any stone here. |
Tayo-D:this is from tayo, ur ally Kobojunkie:and this is a rhetorical question from you which seems to support tayo's statement. to be fair to u, u went ahead to explain that the money is actually people's money which they dont want to spend on public option. but this is beside the point. we are talking of a country that was able to spend trillions of dollars in a useless war and it cant spend a fraction of that in a useful venture. anyway, i dont care anymore, my result came out today from school and my grade was not as excekllent as i have worked for, so for now, i dont care about the debate or even nairaland . . . . i'm done. . . thanx for ur time anyway, it was cool debating with u for the first time . . . .real debate ![]() |
many people do not know that there were black soldiers in the confederate army who were fighting to keep the rights of the white man to own slaves. |

if only obama will wake up from his overriding delusion to understand that these republicans are ready to die than vote for his policies, things will start taking a better shape in congress. . . . . . |
i learnt yesterday from tayo and kobojunkie that the US is a poor country . . . . . all because of healthcare reform perhaps ![]() |
Tayo-D:dont let me keep u at work my dear. even me i need to sleep now. but emotions apart, there is something moral about universal healthcare. and if u dont know it, there are people who have been denied healthcare b/c they dont have the money to afford it. have u not heard of cases of people who needed one form of treatment or the other, or medication they cant afford and they dont get treatment and some even died for it. u've never heard? no wonder u argue the way u do. and the united states is rich. if u doubt it, travel the globe brother. the US is relatively rich. perhaps u need to know more about the long term benefits of a healthier population. the law of economics will surprise you. |
it's been 5 long yrs, when i last heard or even read that phrase . . ''e go better'' no bro, do something b4 u say e go better. |

. Do you really think so? Its the U.S's choice to award u a visa which permits entry into their country. Don't get me wrong,I love Obama and all he stands for but the U.S ain't a company where you buy shares on the stock exchange. It is owned by its citizens alone.
