Yes, it is, because she was absolved.
Says Who? This is why Nigeria will remain stagnant. Big B1 singing praises for IBB while calling others corrupt, beaf singing praises for GEJ and Wife while calling others corrupt. In Nigeria you are corrupt once you are in opposition.

If GEJ want to sincerely fight corrupt he know where to start. Charity they say starts from home. But he can't do that.

EFCC was formed as a tool and it will remain a tool to who ever that is in power. The earlier you guys realise that the better for you.

Nobody see Nigeria as his/her country. Everybody is looking for what he/she will gain. Even you can't recite the anthem. I too cannot do it on my own as am typing this. 99% of Nigerians can't as well, itz the bitter truth.

^^^ Do they teach national anthem in the university? You learn it in the primary school so anybody that passed through the primary should know/sing the anthem.

Siena:
Brother Presido, you're being dramatic. It's a father's duty to see his kids through life, till they become adults.
Please who is an adult? or at what age is one an adult.

If he feels it's an imposition, then he shouldn't have had them. He had a clear choice. The son / daughter on the other hand, doesn't have the same choices. In this scenario, there's nothing wrong with the OP's father, he's not ill, he's not dying. That's mere drama where there shouldn't be any. Sources of borrowing money do run dry, otherwise it would be an endless cycle.
This is the reason i refered to janded kids and parents not to advice in this case. We have what is called "Reversal of role" in Nigeria, until the Government start providing for the aged its our responsibility to provide for our parents. If this poster is jobless, believe me his mother will still be feeding him until he get a job. The parents will still be giving him money to transport himself to interview otherwise he will start yahooing and be a problem to every Nigerian. Why can't he do the same to his pale.

The OP can help his father, but only if he can afford to. I don't know how to make that any clearer.
I think you missed some lines in my first post. Go back an read it again. Yes if he don't have and can't borrow he should let his father know by talking to him not mere writting an email or whatever.
FamilyRe: My Dad Needs Money Again! Please Help! by presido1: 8:22pm On Jul 25, 2010
Siena:
The OP said he has no more money to give - what do you want him to do? Beg? Borrow, or worse, steal? The well has run dry!!
If my father can borrow to make sure i graduated from the university i don't see it as a crime to borrow when he need my assistance. What if his father's life depends on what he need that money for? are you going to call him a leech and let him die then you will borrow that money for his burial. Remember his father can easily sell his land to meet up with his financial problem but he did not think of it cus he has children that will make use of that land in feature. As far as my fathers intention is good i will do my best to provide for him a million times. I will rather have him as a leech alife than to let him die cuz i want to rent a flat or buy toyota spider.

That is called "reversal of role". The worst thing that can happen to you is to take advice from NLanders that live with their parents in the west. This is cuz the government provide for the aged here so they don't know/understand the situation back home and will definitely give you wrong advice. Now somebody has called your dad a leech. Honestly will you take that insult from anybody in the real world. If you haven't got the hand to help now why not talk to him the way he will understand rather than talking to people that will call you father diff names thinking they are helping you. I believe helping him to put his business in the right track will go a long way in getting you free of his monthly allowance. Once his business is moving you don't need to worry about feeding, healthcare, car maintenance and others since he can take care of those from his day to day business activities but that doesn't stop you from squaring him some bar when you feel like.

Again i don't know what you mean by lucrative job when you have not rented an apartment after working for almost 2 yrs. No car and no wife at the same time you are seeking public opinion in contributing to you family.

Pls God don't put me in a situation where i will seek advice from an outside wether to help me dad.
