FamilyRe: My Wife Refused To Block The Guy She Cheated With by pressplay411(m): 2:20pm On Jan 04, 2023
Afodot0022:
Good day naira landers and happy holiday. I am writing this base on the challenge am having in my marriage. Some of you might have known little about the issue i had previously cos i brought it to the forum.

It happened that my wife was having emotional affairs with another man which i knew through her chat.

Though family and pastor were involved and have tried everything to resolve the issue between us. I have decided to forgive and forget and also give her a second chance even though it was a difficult situation for me, I decided to let go cos of my two daughters and don't want them to share from a broken home.

Now the issue am still having is that my wife has promise to change and be a better person and also promise to cut any emotional tile with the man. But I wasn't confident with that, so i told her to block this guy on all social media and also delete his number so there wont be any communication between them cos i sense if they both keep in touch, they might go back to what they were doing before. She got angry when i told her this and she said she can't block the guy cos they have been friends for many years even before she got married to me.

She started dating the guy last year under my roof and her reason was that i pushed her to do such act cos i wasn't giving her enough attention and love which is totally a lie.

So house, pls just let me know if i did wrong by telling her to block the guy or i over did it. I just felt blocking him will be best for us cos i noticed my wife is not fully detached from this guy emotionally.

Pls if you are in my shoes, what will you do house. If you want to get more insight about what transpired, you can go to my details nairaland.

Pls mod, help me by doing the needful.
Trust me, there's no forcing her to block him. If they're not already sexually cheating, you just might push her into that, even though emotional cheating is just as bad.

If you want to salvage your marriage which I believe you do, Listen to her. You'll need a lot of self-control and maturity to do this.
She says she wants your attention, communicate with her. Understand what she wants. Make some adjustments, let her see the effort you're willing to make for her. She'll be reminded that she's not ready to lose your love and marriage over a fling.

Most importantly she's your wife, love her and pray for her. Both of you should always make Christ the Head of your marriage. When challenges like this come, He will surely see you through.

Your marriage is blessed in Jesus name. Amen.

Nothing in your quoted scripture indicated hearing God through middlemen!

I believe that God can speak through anyone or circumstance but not to the point of one turning himself to a celebrity prophet or prophetess
I too saw the vain glory in the prophet.
The quoted verse teaches that, we some times need other ministers too. (including prophets)
Though a believer should be able to hear directly from God. What happens when you don't hear concerning a situation? Is it wrong to hear God through a prophet?

The caution however is to be able to test and discern spirits that we don't fall into wrong hands. As we know false prophets/teachers abound in these last days.

Your post contains errors but I wish to appreciate your grounds and how you arrived at your errors, hence I am trying to ascertain the basic settled foundations if you stand on them.

1) Please what is the meaning of convict?

2) is Holy Spirit, God?
First, there's no error when the Holy Spirit teaches you. Especially when you quote what is inspired and written by Him. which is what I do. There's simply variances in our interpretations. Usually as a result of our spiritual level and state of our hearts.
If we share the same Spirit, Blood and Baptism, we will share the same understanding.

1. I've answered this. The Holy Spirit is our Helper. His conviction here means He helps you distinguish between sin and righteousness.
You will be surprised how blurred the lines can some times get even for a believer. And youll be shocked how those without the Holy Spirit cannot even distinguish between right and wrong. To them wrong has become right, and right has become wrong. This generation is a clear case study.

2. And Yes, the Holy Spirit is God, not God the Father, but God the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus Christ is God, the Son/Word.
It is a spiritual and not a sensual understanding which not I but the Holy Spirit teaches you to believe and gives you the understanding.

May God through His Word and Holy Spirit grant us access and understanding that we may know and come into the Light of His Truth and the Power there in, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

It is very common that when people talk about their parents, they always describe their mother emphatically as been good and helpful but when you ask them about their father? The usual response is haaaa! that one? He is just there o or you hear something like abeg leave that one with his wahala o. What are the reasons behind this?
Inexplicably, sons gravitate towards their mothers, while daughters gravitate towards their fathers.
Biology is yet to explain this phenomenon.

Scriptures must be interpreted in harmony with other scriptures that addresses the same issue.

There are scriptural evidences that the law has been abolished or canceled. Read them below;

Ephesians 2:14
Having ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.

Hebrews 7:18
For there is verily a DISANNULLING of the COMMANDMENT going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: FOR YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, but under grace.
1. Can you elaborate, what do you understand by these verses you shared?

2. Also, what did Christ mean when he says obey my commands? What commands was he referring to?
“If you love me, keep my commands."

3. What does practisng righteousness mean as a new creation in Christ, in the new covenant/testament?

They have started again!
In this new year, refuse to be gullible religiously and politically.
Served God and humanity directly and through men that pose as middlemen.
God can speak to you directly if you know how to listen.
And what do you do if he doesn't speak to you directly?
Everyone needs ministers.
You just have to be able to discern and test spirits so you do not fall into wrong hands.

James 5 :14-16
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

1. Remember there's no longer condemnation for anyone in Christ.
What the Holyspirit does is let you know what's wrong and what's right. Reminds you of the consequences of both. And helps you by enabling you to choose what's right.
Of course, the decision remains yours to make. He doesn't force you.

Ken4Christ:
God has abolished the law of Moses.
The key word is not "abolished."
Christ did not abolish or destroy the Law. Rather He fulfilled the law and His blood sacrifice delivered us from the curse of the Law once and for all.
Paul also corroborates this.

Jesus;
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-20

Paul;
I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:21-27

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. Romans 3:31

In conclusion, What then is the Purpose of the Law?

Galatians 3:16-29
16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.
17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.
18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.
22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.
24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Recall that Jesus Christ said that it is only if you have the understanding that you have that more understanding will be given to you - Matthew 13 vs 12 & Matthew 25 vs 29 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 26? Well, if the grace of God in Jesus Christ — eternal life— is already eternal i.e. limitless, what is the meaning in suggesting that it be multiplied when it is already limitless? undecided

Abandon religion and focus instead on knowing the Truth of God — Jesus Christ — only then will your understanding of God be of Truth. undecided
There is so much for you to understand through the Holy Spirit and in the epistles.
I cannot explain them to you except you learn under the feet of the giver of understanding Himself, because even I am but a babe in matters of the Spirit. Recall the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus about heavenly things in John 3?

1. Because God revealed Him as such to me. He is the good shepherd, the New Covenant sent by God to gather His lost sheep back to God - Ezekiel 34 vs 1 - 32 & Jeremiah 31 vs 31- 34. Jesus Christ Himself affirmed all of this in His teachings. undecided

2. God made it abundantly clear from the beginning that the Israelites would not obey Him and as a result, He would curse and scatter them all to the four winds, after which He would then gather them back to Himself. So, your claim that the Jews honestly obeyed God's Law is a lie against God Himself. Also, God's relationship with them was never based on their acceptance of Him.
He basically conscripted Israel from before its beginning as His inheritance in this world, and so it mattered not whether the people choose to believe in Him, and His son, or not. What has mattered all this while has always been God's plan. undecided

3. Jesus Christ never said interpretations were necessary as far as His teachings and commandments are concerned. And He certainly did not give you the Helper as an interpreter for what amounts to private delusions that contradict the Truth of God. Consider, for instance, the scriptures you have in your hands. They were penned down by humans in human language to be processed using basic human language comprehension skills by a human audience. So of what use are these your interpretations when the words are not written in angel speak or alien dialect and not meant to be understood only by angels? So why do you prescribe the Spirit as some sort of interpreter for knowledge that is made available in human-speak to you? Why suggest the Spirit of God is what Jesus Christ never said He was? undecided

4. I can guarantee you this, you can study that word all you want— all year if you like —, pretending you study with the one who is the Holy Spirit, and that is you will never get anywhere closer to God's Truth than the Pharisees and Sadducees before you were able to. The Pharisees and Sadducees also claimed to study the word of God only they ended up smack dab against God because, in their many studying, they replaced the Law and teachings of God with the delusions of their minds. It is not in studying that you come to know the Truth of God. Instead, as Jesus Christ instead made known in His Law to you, it is by living your life in continuous submission and obedience to that which He taught, the Truth of God that you come to know the Truth of God - John 8 vs 31 vs 36. He even explained using various parables that it is only when you use the understanding that you have that more understanding will be given to you by the Father - Matthew 25 vs 29 & Matthew 13 vs 10 - 12 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 26. undecided

God's Law is everlasting -unchanging and as such, no man has power to add laws or teachings to it, change any of that which has been declared, or even remove from that which has been decreed - Matthew 5 vs 15 - 17. Those who do so commit sin against God. Jesus Christ is God's Law and so no one can change that which has been decreed by Him- He is everlasting. Now, yes, the understanding you get from the Father indeed expands on the teachings of Jesus Christ but that understanding never contradicts nor contravenes God's Law. So, again, any doctrine or tradition that seeks to expand God's Law by attempting to add, change or remove from that declared by God in HIs Gospel is not of God but of the religion of men, and hence antiChrist. undecided
You remind me of Apollos.
You know your scripture.
Grace multiplied to you in Jesus name.

Acts 18:24-28
Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. 27 And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace; 28 for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
Christianity EtcGrace To Hate Sin And Love Righteousness by pressplay411(op):
"You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Hebrews 1:9

The subject of Righteousness is one that we would expect that all Christians should agree upon. But is that the case?
The quoted verse, teaches us how much Jesus Christ hated lawlessness/sin and loved righteousness, just as God, the Father does.
And what was his reward? God's pleasure and delight in Him knows no bounds.

There are various interpretations of the Gospel and Grace of Jesus Christ concerning Righteousness. But I trust God to help us by the Holy Spirit to gain a good and true understanding of God's will through His Word.

What is Righteousness?
It is simply put, being in Right-standing with God.
It is also defined as Obedience to God's commandments.

There is no argument about Righteousness in the old testament. So I will be focusing on the New testament.
Because Righteousness truly is not of works.
Righteousness is imputed by God.
In the old testament, Abraham believed God and it was imputed to him as Righteousness.
Enoch, Noah, Job, Lot, etc were some of the Fathers of Faith who were called Righteous by God, even before there was Laws of Moses.

In the new testament, what is expected of a Christian since Jesus Christ has bought us from sin and paid our debt in full?
So many of us find ourselves falling back into sin, even to our own surprise. Why?
It is because we have not had understanding of sin and righteousness.

1 John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
1 John 5: 16- 17 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Having been delivered from the works of sin and darkness, we are now a new creation having found our victory in Jesus Christ over sin and death.
If we truly understand that sin/lawlessness is from Satan, especially having been in the bondage of sin for a time, we will have a bellowing anger and hatred towards sin. We will also begin to understand the Christ-like love towards sinners.

In conclusion, our assignment and mandate as Christians is to establish God's kingdom on earth and manifest his glory. Matthew 6:33
Sin is the kingdom of Satan.
Righteousness is the kingdom of God.

Satan through our flesh and mind has over the years made us love sin.
In Christ, we have to discipline our flesh and renew our minds to begin to love Righteousness. And this can not be done by our efforts or with the wrong heart. We need the right heart, the Power of the Word of God and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is actually for our own benefit and good.
It is a perverted and reprobate mind that loves sin.
And God has delivered us in Christ.
So what do we need to do?

-We need to truly repent of our sins and believe in God and Jesus Christ His only begotten Son.
-We need to choose to know God through the life pattern and Word of Jesus Christ.
-We need to love God with all our heart and soul and strength and mind, and love our neighbors as ourselves.
-We need to follow God's commands.
-We need to become committed to living our lives for Christ for the rest of our lives.
-We need to understand that the purpose of the Holy Spirit is to give us Power and all that we need to be witnesses of Christ. Acts 1:8

When we truly hate sin and love righteousness, and we stay in the knowledge of God, we will understand through revelation of the Word that we have all we need in Christ to live a Victorious Christian life.

I conclude and pray together with you that as we start this new year, we shall receive the true revelation of the finished work of Jesus Christ, the Grace to work worthy of our calling, and the Love and Faith to Walk in the Spirit that we may not fulfill the lusts of the flesh in the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Is it not great that as we look into the Word of God, we are being transformed and conformed into the image of Christ from grace to grace and glory to glory? Halleluyah!

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection." Romans 6:1-5

"Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34

1. Every single time you assert the words of the servant as a counter to that stated by the Master Himself, you directly imply that the servant has become greater than the Master. undecided

2. The Spirit of Truth aka the Holy Spirit as Jesus Christ explained to you through His teachings is subject to Him, Jesus Christ, and so will only give that which conforms to that stated by Jesus Christ Himself, and only that which applies as far as the Kingdom of God - John 14 vs 25 - 27 & John 15 vs 25 - 26 & John 16 vs 4 - 15.

3. Here's a New Year tip for you, never lift a verse out of context, and verify every assumption made regarding what is written before believing in it!
As already explained in His teachings, the one you call the Holy Spirit is the very same Spirit of Truth who lives inside of Jesus Christ and as such is subject to Jesus Christ. And so will never teach or reveal that which contradicts or contravenes Jesus Christ in any manner. Jesus Christ painted a picture of this for you when He clearly informed you that the Helper will not speak His own words. undecided

What this means is that all truths you claim that contradict or contravene the Truth of God, Jesus Christ, are not from God, and a clear indicator that the spirit you claim to have inside of you is also not the Spirit of God since the Holy Spirit would never lie against God. undecided
Why do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
Was it stated in the old testament?

The Jews fail to accept Jesus as the Son of God because they are honestly following the Word of God through the Law and Prophets.

Ironiically, you fail to accept that Jesus Himself sent His disciples to continue his ministry.
Some of their teachings seem contradictory to some of the teachings of Christ except when interpreted by the power of the Holy Spjrit.

No, the Holy Spirit does not contradict the teachings of Christ, He expounds it.
Studying the Word of God without the Spirit of God is the perfect recipe for confusion.
So, I assure you that God is not an author of confusion, rather He delights in revealing his Word to his children and ministers.

May we receive Grace and Understanding for every season to grow according to the image of Jesus Christ and manifestation of His glory.

1. There is only one gospel- Jesus Christ. True
But before Jesus was born, there was the Old testament. Hence the old testament is important.
And after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there were early disciples, some of whom became Apostles.
If you had been one of these early disciples of Jesus Christ, and you preached and taught what Jesus taught you through the understanding of the Holy Spirit, would that mean that you were continuing in Gospel of the Word of God?

My dear jesus is a fictional character created by Rome to deceive gullible people and you fell for the scam....

God gave humans laws to keep and follow so that we will live in peace and enjoy our human experience. End of the day our bodies return to the earth, and our breath returns to God who owns it ..
I have invested very little compared to a lot of people. I've doubted, backslided and even strayed away.

I believe I've answered you already.

Whenever you're truly ready to find the Truth, you'll pray to God with an open, humble and repentant heart.
It's easier to do so today, cos truly tomorrow might be too late.

Continue in your delusions..

When the time comes for you to wake up to the fabrication you will. But now continue to wallow in your believe in absurdities...
If there is anything I would like you to take from our engagement today, it's to respect other people's beliefs.
I won't shove mine down your throat, I can only explain why I hold my belief.
And I respect yours. There is a reason you hold your belief too.
However, wisdom is justified by her children (results).

Shalom.

The heart and soul of the Tanakh is the Torah. The idea of a Messiah only surfaced when the Jews longed for an anointed king who will deliver them from their enemies and end all oppression against the Jewish nation.

Messiah means anointed king or priest....

It is by no means a demi god....
I understand you. And you are very right.
It is the same reason the Jewish leaders (Pharisees, Saducees, Scribes) rejected Jesus Christ, and still reject him till date. (Only few Jews believe in Jesus Christ.)
Because searching through the scripture- Law and Prophets (Tanakh/Talmud/Torah) it was not clearly stated. And for a good reason.

Truth is, it is a Mystery. It is spiritual.
Had it been clearly stated, the devil would have known God's redemption plan for man.
Satan would not only have ordered 2 year olds to be killed like Herod did, he would have made sure Jesus Christ never suffered or died to fulfill and accomplish His spiritual victory.

To begin to see it in the Old testament is simple, Only when you believe in God and Jesus Christ his only begotten Son. That explains why a Christian believes it completely.

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Humility Before God

Perhaps the highest level of pride in the bible is to raise our hearts and forget God after he has blessed us.
God continued to sound this note of warning vehemently in the ears of the Israelites when He delivered them from Egypt. Yet they became proud and suffered grave consequences for it for generations.

Deuteronomy 8:1-19
"Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors. 2 Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. 4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. 5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.

6 Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. 7 For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.

10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. 12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, 13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. 20 Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God."

But if we remain humble before God, His promises are true from generations to generations..

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

Stop deflating...

Let me oblige you, the universe has a creator. He is not a man or human being. God is the universal consciousnesses personified....

The universe is mental....not material..
Thanks for sharing.
From our interactions here, I observed your exposure to Judaism/Old testament seems to be the basis for your rejection of Jesus Christ. Right?
Do you believe God has a redemption plan for his creation, since the fall of Adam in the Old testament?
If yes, what's your understanding of God's redemption plan?

I didn’t say what’s messiah called in greek, I asked the origin of the word

But you are asking me about the jews who don’t speak English.

What’s the origin of the word “messiah”?
Don’t you need to understand words you are using, or you just regurgitating what they told you.
I don't believe in engaging is rigmarolic argument.
We both understand what I mean by Messiah. This discussion is not about the origin of the word Messiah.

So you do agree that the bible does teach that the Jews were promised a Messiah.
My simple question to you is "Who do you perceive is that Messiah?"

מלך המשיח
Messiah, Christ, Kristos, etc
I do not speak Hebrew either, but we both understand each other cos we both understand English.
You did not answer my question though.

Who do you perceive is the Messiah?

The reason is because that’s what the text says,
My question to you is why do you desperately want it to be Jesus Christ a mixture of latin and greek name?

The jews that owns the books we are quoting reject your jesus from rome.

The jews didn’t create New Testament, they have no reason to, your jesus doesn’t exist outside the New Testament.
So tell me why you think a character in New Testament is what is been referred to in tanakh?
Do the Jews believe in the prophecy of the Messiah?
If yes, who do you perceive is the Messiah?
Christianity EtcRe: Why Is Christianity So Divided? by pressplay411(op): 10:44am On Jan 02, 2023
Kobojunkie:
Religion is a system of power, and control built atop on theologies and traditions of men, designed by men with which to rule over their fellow men. God never gave Religion to men. He gave to the Israelites His Law, YHWH, a National Constitution — the Law of Moses — but men decided they would rather have for themselves Judaism, the religion. God then gave Jesus Christ, His Law, and Gospel in the Kingdom of God, to the House of Jacob; but again, men decided they would rather have for themselves religion and so here we are today with a religion called Christianity that is nothing of what God in fact desires from men. The reason for the division you observe in your churches has to do with the fact that the religion itself has nothing to do with God's Law, Jesus Christ. undecided
Your definition of religion seems quite biased.
Because the knowledge of God comes through studying under a religion.
If you believe in Jesus Christ, you'll have read in scripture that he practiced Judaism from childhood until he became of age in his ministry.
And today, we need Christianity to know God through Jesus Christ.

Comprehend with sense please.

For a child has been born for us, a son given to us, and the government will be on his shoulder. his name will be “Wondrous counsel, God is mighty (i.e. Hezekiah), my father endures, prince of peace”.
I have no predisposition towards you or your opinion.
I noticed from your previous comments, you perceive it refers to King Hezekiah and not Jesus Christ.
I simply want to know your reason.
Christianity EtcRe: The Differences Between The Old Testament And New Testament by pressplay411(op): 10:24am On Jan 02, 2023
Maynman:
the operative word here in Hebrew is Yulad, “was born” from the Hebrew grammatical construct of Binyan Pu’al. The English translations that dubiously say “is born” are therefore incorrect. Being that this refers to someone who “was born” and already living during Isaiah’s time, that is 700 years before Jesus! So in no way, can this verse refer to Jesus. But rather, it refers to King Chizkiyahu (Hezekiah), a contemporary of Isaiah’s.
Do share your understanding of the scripture Isaiah 9:6, with reason please.
