Christianity Etc › Re: How I Received The Holy Ghost. My Experience Can Be Your Experience. by pressplay411(m): 10:45am On May 23 |

Being a disciple does not make one a believer. ✝ Matthew 7:21
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." ✝ John 6:64
"But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him."
Followers doesn't always mean you have believers. Moreover believing in the wrong message is as bad, as not believing at all.
Those who Philip preached to became saved after Philip preached to them.
They were not saved. Through salvation comes with the Spirit of God. ✝ John 3:5
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
KJV Bible ✝ Zechariah 4:6
"Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
KJV ✝ Ephesians 1:13
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,"
KJV Bible
Without the seal which is the adorable Spirit of Christ, the believer is not saved. On the last day, many will say, "Lord we believed in you, why are we being rejected but the Lord will say to them depart from me, for if you believe in me my Spirit would have been in you." The problem is not believing but what you are believing.
Acts 8:12 "But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, " Baptism has nothing to do with salvation but a symbol of the real deal, that is, the baptism of the Holy Spirit or receiving of the Holy Ghost.
They were saved. They gave their lives to Christ. We didn't give our life to him. He gave his life to us instead. We're just called to believe he did it. Simple
After this, see what happened next:
Acts 8:14-17
"When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Baptizing any anyone is just a symbol. Believing is the real deal, but it most be confirmed and sealed by the receiving of the Holy Spirit. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit." This is the confirmation that they believed the right message.
In Acts 19, those people for whom Paul prayed were also believers. That's why Paul asked "Have you received the Holy Ghost since ye Believed?. Paul knew that it is one thing to be a Believer, it is another thing to be baptized in the Holy Ghost, hence, the question.. Not everyone who confesses Jesus Christ believes the message of the gospel. Not everyone one who preaches Christ and defend in arguments about Jesus here in Nairaland, actually believes the message of salvation.
Read also Acts 10 to see a similar scenario in the house of Cornelius.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is different from the salvation experience. In both cases the Holy Spirit comes into you: It is not different brother. It is the same and it happens once and you will no that something has happened.
1. At salvation, He comes as the Spirit of Life to impart you with the Life of God to live a new life in Christ. True, but it is once and He also come with all package including power.
2. At the Holy Ghost baptism, He comes as the Spirit of Power to fill you with the Power of God to live a victorious life as a Christian in this perverse world.
True as well, but it is once and He comes with all package... Life, wisdom, knowledge, understand, might, power and of the fear of the Lord. There is no double coming of the Holy Spirit into man. A disciple is simply a follower of a person or doctrine. One can be a disciple of Moses, or disciple of John the baptist or disciple of Jesus Christ or disciple of Muhammed, etc Disciples of Jesus Christ are the ones who receive the baptism of the Holy spirit as a seal of their belief and redemption. You know you have received the baptism of the Holy spirit and it is a real experience to you. Do not listen to the noise. It is to make you doubt your salvation. Grace multiplied to you. |

TechToyin: Hello house, I just need some advice abeg.
I recently got a teaching job this term — I’m in my early 20s and I teach Physics to SS2 students. I gave them an assignment on Gas Laws last week, and while marking, one of the girls wrote “masturbate” as her answer.
I was honestly speechless. I didn’t even know how to react. The school doesn’t allow flogging or any form of physical punishment, so I can’t just “discipline” her the old way.
I’m trying to maintain professionalism, but that answer really shocked me. I don’t know if she was joking, testing me, or if there’s something else behind it.
Should I call her aside to talk? Or report it to the principal or class teacher? I don’t want to embarrass her, but I also don’t want to ignore it.
Teachers and educationists in the house, please, how would you handle this kind of situation? She may have fired you an arrow of masturbation. Pray against it and report her to the necessary authorities. |

Christianity Etc › September 2025 Rapture Prediction by pressplay411(op): 7:56am On Sep 23, 2025 |
Rapture is a Christian belief that on a date and an hour nobody knows, the trumpet will sound and the faithful Christians will be taken away from the earth while the those who remain will have to face the consequences of their unfaithfulness by enduring tribulation.
The date of rapture has been predicted across decades, centuries and millennia even though Jesus Christ himself said, nobody knows the time, not even him except God the father alone.
Today and tomorrow , September 23-24 2025 have been once again predicted to be the date the rapture is purported to take place due to the certain significant Jewish events. Although Jesus never insinuated those conditions. It is believed that because one of the Jewish holiest festivals falls on this date- the Feats of Trumpets 2025 and because of recent events of the Blood moon and the wars between Israel and Palestine, Russia and Ukraine.
Jesus Christ however gives the conditions for the rapture to take place as highlighted in Matthew 24. Some of these conditions as at today have not yet been met. |

Commentor: Rightwing personality Charlie Kirk's memorial service took place in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday. And, surely by complete coincidence, Grindr experienced outages in the area around the same time.
Reports claim that tens of thousands of people attended the memorial for the controversial podcaster, with high-level MAGA politicians and other public figures flying in from across the country to attend. Republicans were quick to try to pin Kirk's killing on trans people and "trans ideology" before a suspect was even in custody, and Kirk himself had made plenty of negative remarks about the LGBTQ+ community during his life.
In completely unrelated news, there were over 168 reports of Grindr outages on Sunday evening, a staggering increase from the baseline number of two. A heat map showed a large concentration of those problems taking place in the Glendale area. The outages have continued through Monday morning, at one point reaching over 200 reports.
https://www.pride.com/culture/charlie-kirk-grindr-outage Maybe you should have explained what Grindr is. I had to Google to understand. Charlie Kirk, God bless is memory, was a modern day savior. He put his life on the line to correct the years of brainwashing the Democrats had successfully done on this generation. More importantly he was not just fighting against the Left, but the devil behind them. God bless his legacy and grant him paradise. |

And if he's able to do that well, he can make a best selling book, music, painting, movie, etc. Cos it just might appeal to a demography of people dealing with same issues. Though if it's a demon trying to find expression through him, which is usually the case with secular music, it's best not to let it out. But take some time out to heal. |
Nairaland General › Igbos And The Spread Of Love Of Money by pressplay411(op): 10:55am On Mar 14, 2025 |
It's unfortunate this has to be written by a non-igbo and brought to the scrutiny of xenophobia.
The truth is the igbo culture is a very realist culture. Igbos believe in results.
The igno culture especially abia and anambra have a strong affinity for money. For the abia, it takes a lot of money to marry one of their daughters. While for the anambra, it takes a lot of money to undertake funerals.
With this precedence, igbos are pressured to seek every means possible to be rich. For the average igbo; 1. It is either a matter of resorting to rituals in Okia shrine or similar idols. 2. Venturing into crime such as ritual-killing, frauds, occultism, etc. 3. Resorting to church as a business.
The high cost of living in Nigeria has been largely linked to the activities of the igbos. Interestingly as this has come to affect majority of the igbos, they themselves now seek help from govt to help put their kinsmen in check. |

GeeM: Recently, I got entangled with a lady that had terrible STI. I have always been a fan of raw sex because I don't feel anything with condom.
This lady in question is someone you could describe as a homely girl; wife material, so I never suspected in my wildest imagination that she would be carrying such terrible infection.
We met about 6months ago at a friend's wedding and exchanged pleasantries after which I collected her number. From then we started talking and our conversations went so well that one thing led to the other and we linked up and had it raw. Few days after the sex, I started experiencing this burning sensation in my private part and asif something was biting me at the tip of my penis. That was how my predicament began. I tried all the antibiotics I knew to no avail. This forced me to go to the hospital and see a doctor who prescribed another set of antibiotics yet it didn't work. I even took injections since tablets wasn't working yet no result.
Then my test results came out showing that I had antibiotics resistant strain of gonorrhea. This type of gonorrhea was resistant to the normal antibiotics used to treat it but luckily for me it was sensitive to a particular antibiotics but very expensive. One injection of the antibiotics cost 30,000 and I needed to take morning and night for atleast 3days. That's how I spent over 180k treating infection.
When I informed the babe about what I was passing through, she became very angry saying that I'm insulting her. That was how that relationship ended. After that incident, I became very cautious with the way I view women. Though I still enjoy my raw sex but I'm more careful how I go about it. Babes plenty but to find clean one no easy. Skin to skin dey sweet but na infection spoil am. It is appointed for man to die once, after that judgment. You had a scare of death but I fear you have not learnt the requisite lesson. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is here. Jesus loves you and wants to save your soul. He is the way, the truth and the life. God grant you peace and mercy. |

Luke.16.11 - Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? Luke.16.12 - And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own? From that age You should know when you feel you are ready for marriage, nobody should coerce you .. You should also know the kind of man you are getting married to, nobody should know the man more than you.... I prefer WhatsApp calls to normal voice calls because it's more cheaper and also helps save normal call airtime for lines that are not registered on WhatsApp.
A woman refused to engage me in business discussion because I called her via WhatsApp. She feels I'm not serious or professional enough.
Do you have any issues with WhatsApp calls for business/official purposes? There is really no generic answer for questions like this; It is a matter of understanding who you're dealing with. If you're self employed, you have to adapt to the requirements of your customer to the best of your capacity. If you're employed, you have to work within the specified provisions/requirements of your organisation. Christianity Etc › Re: My Testimony by pressplay411(m): 4:49am On May 26, 2023 |
Myer: I opened this pseudonym some years back after I backslided.
I had been very vocal of my salvation and journey as a Christian via my original account-pressplay411. So it came as a shock that I could backslide, worse still I could not explain the reason for my backsliding. I did not fornicate or commit any of the obvious sins, I just felt a spiritual drought- I stopped experiencing the presence of the Holyspirit in my life.
I struggled with this for months, but instead of getting better, it was getting worse. When I noticed I had started rubbing off my doubts on those close to me, I decided it was best I left the church for a while. Luckily the nature of my job allowed me to travel across the nation so my pastors and church friends mostly assumed I was on official capacity as usual.
I isolated myself and eventually went back to my vomit- drinking, masturbating, fornication, etc. It only got worse with time. This would continue for about 3 years. I enjoyed the first half of backsliding. But the next half was hell on earth. Everything came crashing, including relationship, job, business, family etc. I hit rock bottom when my health could no longer sustain my lifestyle. I started to develop liver issues cos I had lost control over drinking. I felt hopeless.
I would attempt to go back to church occassionally but it just didn't feel the same. The darkness had a claim to my soul that the light could not extinguish. Or so it seemed.
My mom, my angel was depressed. It hurt to put her through all this. Yet I had no way out. The thought of her son drifting off before her eyes was unbearable. I knew I had to try for her. She cried, I cried. She would eventually invite me through her friend to MFM and I agreed. Let me give it one more try. I went through a 3 day prayer and fast at the prayer city. Got back home feeling something had happened but scared I needed to find a good MFM church to help me continue in the faith before I samk back into my habits. God had other plans I would eventually end up in a small church close to my house. And the rest they say is history.
I rededicated my life to Christ early January this year and God has been faithful. Please thank God for me. I am moved to tears that I can find salvation once again. The story of the prodigal son hits different when i read or hear it now.
I don't know if anyone reading this has lost hope in life, people, God, etc. Please know that hope is all we have. Just have hope. My hope is in Christ. And he saved me once again.
Please thank God for me. Jesus Saves. Hallelujah! I |

delugadou: Let me share mine too For some days now, I've been trying to understand the things I saw while asleep.
1) I was in a trance and saw myself walking around my compound at about 3am, then I saw a person cooking with firewood in the compound. I felt it was a woman because of the dressing (wrapper& blouse with feminine voice and body). The person was cooking outside, near my neighbour's apartment. I wanted to see the person that is cooking at such unholy hour and she shouted that I should not come close. I refused and went there. This made her to stop cooking and then she packed up all the cooking materials and started walking away. As she passed by me, I looked at her face and she didn't have any face. It was blurred. I'm even having goosebumps as I write now. At that moment, I wanted to shout "Jesus" but my mouth refused to open until she walked away. Then I woke up.
2) I had a dream where I went to buy provision in a shop. I didn't see what I wanted, then I saw that they also had seeds for sale. I decided to buy okra seeds for planting. The owners of the shop decided to give me the okra seeds for free. They also gave me other different seeds and also plenty garri in a big white nylon. As I was leaving, the shop owner spoke my native language and mentioned my late grandpa. He was stylishly telling me that he knows me well. I was surprised and I left the place. On my way, some of the garri was leaking from the nylon on the road. People were also looking at me as I was carrying the garri and seeds.
I have been trying to understand the meaning

NOW, ABOUT TRYING TO MENTION THE NAME JESUS.... it means your access to UNLOCKING his name is very very weak.... NEXT TIME, don't call His name if you are not in GOOD relationship with HIM and when you make your relationship firm with our Lord Jesus... Simply THINK HIS NAME and any force around you will bow
2) ONE THING STRIKING IN THIS VISION.... you were helped by the result of your LATE grandfather's goodness to someone ..... that is help from the spirit world oh.... BUT PHYSICALLY, YOU WERE LOOSING WHAT YOU WERE GIVEN AND NO ONE HELPED YOU....
You need to pray for help... USE PSALM 51, 115 AND 91 Thanks for sharing. Very profound. |

Jackanda1: Hello house. There are two confusing dreams i keep having.
1. There is a laptop i own, but it got spoilt around 2019(hard disk issue). I tried repairing in 2021, only to notice alot of it parts aren't functioning as well. So i gave up, resolving to buy a new one. I dreamt twice (3 months ago and few days ago) seeing the laptop booting and functioning well. I woke up, tried booting the laptop, but it wasn't working.
2. I stayed with my uncle who's a pastor in PH city around 2010, i completed my secondary school over there. Though they had a house help, I usually help out with chores.
I keep having this dream, seeing myself back in my uncle's house running errants and doing chores.
Most people would say that my second dream signifys backwardness. But sometimes dreams mean something different from what is seen.
Can i get help from holyspirit filled people in the house? Dreams are multifaceted. It has a lot of meanings depending on who receives it. 1. The laptop represents you. The hard-disk represents your spirit. The crashing of the hard disk represents death- spiritual death. Life outside Christ is spiritual death. Jesus Christ told His disciples who wanted to go back to their families- Let the dead bury the dead. Seeing your laptop come back alive is good news. You simply need to make the right decision. 2. Your uncle is a pastor and you used to help/serve him. He represents God in the dream. Your spirit will come alive in God's presence as you begin to serve God. Do not delay, I pray for you that whatever took you away from God's presence has failed in Jesus name. Amen. |

2. According to Jesus Christ, only those who are Holy are capable of having the Spirit of Truth aka the Holy Spirit - John 8 vs 31 - 36 & John 14 vs 15 - 23 - and since I am still seeking first the Kingdom of God(Holiness) and God's Righteousness....I am not there yet to have Him.
So, do you also reject what Jesus Christ said in this case as well? Your liberty is in 2 Corinthians 3.14-18 "But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." All your questions will be answered the day you honour and receive Him. Grace and Peace be with you. |

Three False Teachings In Today's Churches -Pastor Segun Keku
Song Ministration: Open The Flood Gates in Abundance Date: Sunday 14th May,2023 Happy Mother's Day
Some Christians choose what they want to believe in the bible. Some add their own. They want to change the bible to fit their lifestyle instead of vice versa.
1Tim.4.1-2 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
The only way to test spirits is to test their teachings with the Word of God. Meaning you yourself have to study the Word.
The 3 False Teachings 1. Is it true that it is God's will that every Christian should be Healthy and Wealthy?
Yes, God promised us Peace on earth, even when we are in pain and tribulations. But God doesn't promise us to be rich and healthy at all times. God does not promise us a perfect life on earth. That is in heaven. You and I will have trials and tribulations in this world. John 16:33, 2 Cor 4:16-18
Concerning Health Many people are being misled by these false teachings. It is not all the time that sickness or poverty that is as a result of lack of faith. God is not a Jini. Every problem doesn't just vanish because you're a Christian.
Luke.22.42 - saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
Emphasis on "Nevertheless, not my will but your be done." We can go to God for miracles and healing and blessings but it does not mean God must say Yes all the time.
Is it compulsory that God should say yes? Some times he will say Yes. Some times he will say No. His No and Silence is for a reason.
When these false teachers say it is compulsory, tell them according to God's will. It is not him that runs or wills but God who shows mercy. Keep on being renewed in the mind.
Abraham and Sarah prayed yet they had delay in child birth. Job lost everything, was it that he did not have Faith?
Job.42.5 - "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
Job was so righteous from hearing of God, He had not seen God. But God was able to boast of him. Things got so bad that his wife shamed him and asked him to curse God. But Job replied "I know my Redeemer Lives."
Job's problems started from chapter 2 till chaper 42 which could have lasted for years. Was it because he was not righteous or because he did not have Faith?
Before Job's trial he only heard of God, after the trials he began to see God. He then had a deeper knowledge of God and a higher Faith.
Some things will happen so that you will begin to see God. God will be able to stand by you and single you out. God permits some things to happen for a reason.
Pastor recounts his many challenges. He prayed many prayers without answers. He realised that those situations have helped mould him into shape. To make him know how Great God is.
2 Cor 12:7-10 I will boast in my infirmities.
Aposple Paul prayed to God to take away the thorn in his flesh. But God did not take it away.
2Cor.12.9 - And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The Three Hebrew brothers were thrown into fire. Their strength was made perfect in the fire.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivers him from all.
When you believe in wrong doctrines, how will miracles happen? Because the foundation of the faith is faulty.
The reason we have so much evil in the world today is because of false teachings. People no longer believe the Grace of God is sufficient for them. If you believe, you will stay. Job stayed and said "though he slay me, yet I will trust Him." May we not experience Job's kind of problems but everyone will face his problems.
Concerning Wealth Are you content with what God allows/permits in your life? When Pastor sees a situation he doesn't jump or get anxious, he follows God's direction with prayers. Everything then follows.
When the Israelites were faced with the Red Sea, Moses prayed and God told him it is time to Move Forward. There's time to Pray and there's time to Move Forward.
It is true that God has promised us Wealth and Good Health. But at what expense? Is it automatic?
It wasn't until Job experienced his problems that he realised that he had been hearing of God but now he sees God.
Are you greedy or content with what you have? Be very careful with what you pray for, God knows the intention of your heart. 1 Tim 6:6-11 Be content because love of money has destroyed many.
Focus on God. Focus on eternity. There is nothing wrong in being rich and healthy. But God is also interested in how you spend your money and health.
Ask yourself, how is God benefiting from your health and wealth presently? Have you asked God, what can I do for you, Lord? Have you asked the Pastor, what can you do for the church? What's the essence of your living? Who is benefiting from your living?
2. Churches Create Extra Rules. Eg -All Christians must speak in Tongues to be saved. -Every one must be Baptised to be saved.
We are only saved through the Grace of God. Not by works, tongues or baptism. Eph 2:8-10, Luke 22:39-43, Acts 2:3, 1 Cor 12:4-11, 1 Cor 14.
Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom.10.17 - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Baptism and Speaking in tongues are compulsory but should not be forced on anyone. Salvation comes by Grace. Brethren, we should not add or remove anything from the bible. It's only the truth of the bible that can change us. Our thoughts/senses are imperfect but the bible is perfect.
3. Hyper Grace and Law So many churches preach this without balancing it. They leave out God being Holy and Righteous and that He hates sin. They teach "I can be a Christian and continue to live however I like." They teach "God already loves me so I can continue in sin."
If you live or believe this, you are not yet a Christian. You have not had encounter with Christ.
Rom.6.15-16 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
You are only free from sin if you obey God in righteousness.
There are many who believe they are saved but are not saved.
To justify sin they falsify the true preaching of God. Only the truth can change lives. If anyone comes to give their life to Christ, it is because the Holy spirit has ministered to them, not man.
Some churches are just adding members, and not winning souls. When someone through the preaching surrenders their life to Christ, that one will be saved.
When you add a member who is a drinker or fornicator who has not given their life to Christ, and you don't minister to them by the Holy spirit, are they saved?
In conclusion, for salvation His Grace is sufficient for you. It is good to Speak in Tongues and be Baptised, but that's not guarantee of salvation.
How many people have been baptised but still fornicate and drink or still under the oppression of powers and witchcraft?
It is only when the Gospel is preached in a truthful way and balanced, that is when souls will be touched to give their lives to Christ. Not by sensual or motivational teachings like 7 keys to success, etc. This only makes one feel good but doesn't last. It cannot give life. Because it is not a message of salvation.
Jesus loves you. Know the Truth and He will set you free. |

Show me a person who knows a lot, works hard, has connections everywhere and knows people of high caliber that is not successful...
Unless, you're speaking of spiritual success, goan Siddon oga Learn to respect people's right to have an opinion, whether or not you agree with them. And if you have any disagreement, express it with some level of civility. You don't even know me, yet you chose to be rude. |

hiteelong: Someone will say Nigerian girls are gold diggers always after your money
Please is this gold digger a nigerian
laziness and greed is not determined by type of skin or race There's some thing about the woman, that is too high for me. A good woman opens you to paradise and the mystery of heaven. An evil woman plummets you to abyss and the misery of hell. Little wonder it is said that hell knows no fury like a woman scorned. And he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD. It's too early to have an informed opinion about this worrisome case and suit against the Last Stylebender. Certainly the ex-girlfriend feels she has earned the right to half his worth- we should be intrigued to hear her reason. I sincerely hope to learn from this. |

joeargy: Hi everyone, I will appreciate ur advice...
My son is 2yrs old , when he was born I and my wife named him Charles but my wife's mother and father can't stop calling him Daniel, when ever my son is at their place for holidays or visits, they call him Daniel and all their neighbors and friends now call my son Daniel.
I remembered I told my wife about it and her mother heard and felt bad, he is my son and not theirs, I understand grandparents give their grand children names too, I have a name from my grandparents but they call me by the one my parents gave me...
What do I do house? Both are good names by the way. Curious, does he have a Nigerian name too? And If you don't mind me asking; -Why do you prefer Charles to Daniel? -Why does it still bother you, since you already know that grandparents often do that? A commenter here gave a good counsel- the name on your child's birth certificate is what matters. And the name you, his parents call him. Most importantly the name he identifies with. |

Persephone1: Stop that imagination biko, it's not easy out there o . May we not move from " where should we settle " to "what are you putting on" 😄😄 It's nice when a traditional man meets a traditional woman without any trying to"change" the other. And when two modern people who are not bothered with swapping roles meet, it is great too. The goal is to be on the same page and make life better for each other.
Naturally I don't like people who talk a lot much while I may excuse it in women it is a complete turn off for me when a guy talks or complain too much . I can't last a moment with a nag, my friends knows once I sigh and ask "what do you want" it means I am a minute away from shutting them out. . Na why I dey fear settling down with all these guys wey go dey chochocho everytime. These ones will frustrate someone, nah them type dey do surveillance for meat inside pot. I can't deal . My Peace is very important to me. This is a more balanced submission. We often fall into error when we try to fit everyone into the same box. God created us differently intentionally. What would work for A may work for B but not work for C. A, B !and C are perfect the way they are created. Everyone simply needs to grow into maturation. Men are naturally created and wired to perform certain tasks more easily than women. Women are also naturally created snd wired to perform certain tasks more effortlessly than men. Do these some times overlap, certainly and for a good reason. When we come to this understanding, we won't set expectations myopically. We will observe people's natural strengths and weaknesses and deal with them on that level. Some ladies are more tech savvy and even mechanical than some guys. Some guys are more delicate than some ladies. But my favorite category, are balanced. They can both handle tech savvy, mechanically, delicate and more. Know this will help us deal with each accordingly and get along just well. PS: You seem to be a budding women right's activist. Am I right? There's a fine line and a good difference between that and feminism. |
