Instead we are growing weaklings, soft headed, feeble hearted kids like falz, like macaroni and a whole bunch of others with the mentality of 'I am yoruba but i dont think in yoruba' .. who are conniving with 'outsiders' to desecrate our heritage and culture; Which sprang up the philosophy and cultural concept 'Omoluabi' and 'Karo ojire' ..

It is respect, it is honour, it is our pride. It is why we are yorubas, it is why we are always ahead of all of them. It is what make us different. Unique. Distinctive.

I wish these little kids can understand. I wish it wont be too late before they do.

1. He is attempting to impose his idea and ideals of career success on his children.
This worked some generations ago, but not so effective in this generation.

There's a thin line between being a strong/firm father and a stubborn father.
Only God can help him disambiguation the two.

3. Who is your husband accountable to?
He needs deep talk with his father-figure or pastor.

4. Your husband is doing this all this out of Love- albeit tainted with hubris/pride.
Fatherhood/Parenthood is not simply financial provision but all encompassing.

5. I strongly hope you're a praying mother.
You have to cry to God over your family.
Christ has to become the Head of your home.
Renew and rekindle your secret place and your fellowship with other mothers.

6. I perceive it's the thought of you and probably his goals that's keeping your son from committing suicide. Cos the enemy has done everything to isolate him. All that's left is to dim his hope of any future.
You need to personally engage him in a mother to son talk. Pray before you do.
Reassure him of how much you love him and you can never give up on him.
Leave the dad our of the conversation as much as you can.

7. He's your first fruit. First born are usually the first point of attack among the children. So He also has to devote himself to God. Not necessarily as a pastor but he should have a close relationship with God and be a church worker even if it's as a cleaner or usher, etc.

The Lord has done it already. Christ already finished the works, you just have to seek your help in Him.
Please, do not seek help from any abominations before God.
He does not share his glory with idols.

I observed with keen interest, yet a reasonable linear distance as from a panoramic view, the unfurling of the just concluded election.

First, I celebrate everyone who participated and played their roles in the electoral process- the electorates, the commission (INEC) and the emergent elects at the cadres of the leadership of Nigeria for 2023-2027 administration.

I celebrate us all because we played our roles, and exercised our civic rights and responsibilities.

Some of us campaigned online but did not vote.
Some of us did not campaign at all but voted.
Some of us campaigned online and ffline and also voted.
Some of us were constrained from voting.
Some of us were were uninterested due to incapacity or accumulated disappointments in the electoral process.

Every thing played out just as it was meant to be.
The results have finally been released and the winners declared.
I admonish and encourage us to ask ourselves these important and reflective questions;

1. What did this whole election teach you?
2. Did this electoral process reflect the dividends of democracy?
3. Was it about your choice candidate winning? Or that the people's choice wins?
4. Did the result reflect the people's will/choice?
If yes, why?
And if no, why?
5. Did God allow the president and governs win? If yes, why? If no, why?
6. Did BVAS help or made it worse?
7. What changes need to be made?
8. Is this the best election ever, or the worst election ever in Nigeria?
9. Do you still have hope in the Nigeria?
10. Now that the election has come and gone, did you make more enemies or more friends?
11. Will you make peace with those your family, friends, leaders, subordinates, etc even though you disagreed with their choices?
12. What next? Will you Japa or Stay?

One thing that stays with me during this election is that God proved his supremacy.
And that his ways are way too marvelous and beyond us.
Studying this election, you will observe that;

It has announced the unexpected.
It has humbled the proud.
It has elevated the lowly
It has brought to some hope and some despair.

And yes, it is not coincidence that one Scripture kept resounding throughout this election process and it was loud and clear.

"Obedience is better than sacrifice."

1Sam.15.22 - So Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

1Sam.15.23 - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."

Let us ask ourselves this, Are we obedient to God?
Or we have focused on the sacrifices? The religious activities, the self-righteousness?
Are we obedient to authorities? Our parents, bosses, leadership, president?
Are we calling on Christ without bearing the fruit and gifts of Christ?
Are we following Christ or following our Pastor's, Prophets and Oursellves?
Are we worshipping the created instead of the Creator?
Are we Worshipping God or Mammon/Love of Money?

It is not coincidence that we experienced cash crunch during this election. It truly exposed us all and revealed the states of our hearts- From the Pastor's to the Workers, to the Ministers and the Politicians (King and rulers) and the citizenry.

I pray as we reflect on these questions, the next couple of days and events will bring us answers that will help us seek passionately to become truly, Obedient.

1. Wrong! The goal of faith isn't to make you obedient. Instead Faith is itself the living of a life of obedience. And no, you do not have faith in the synoptic Godspels. Instead your faith is in God's Law --- the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ.

2. Jesus Christ Himself warned you not to mix Old Wine with New wine. The Old wine happens to be the Constitution of the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan while the New Wine is instead the Constitution in God's Special Nation of Priests aka the Kingdom of God. 2. Jesus Christ only makes one righteous by the standard that is the Old Law of Moses - Salvation from Death which is resolved with the gifting of Eternal life aka grace. I believe you have a good knowledge of the synoptic gospels and sincere Faith in them.

The Goal of Faith truly is to make us Obedient to God's commands. Which is why Jesus Christ humbled Himself in Obedience. Philippians 2:8

But you cannot restrict yourself to the synoptic gospels alone.
That is similar to the Jews who limited themselves to the Old testament and rejected the new testament and till day still waiting for the Christ.

You have to go beyond the synoptic gospel.
Jesus Christ (Wisdom of God) is the whole Gospel.

2. New Testament (Synoptic gospels, Acts, Epistles of the Apostles and Revelation).

And the Spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit) is the only One who can give Understanding (Revelation).

That, is the Mystery of knowing God, the Father.

Prov.4.7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Let me interprete this.
Wisdom is the Principal thing, therefore Get Wisdom.
-means Believe and have Faith in Jesus Christ through prayer and studying the Word of God.

The same Jesus Christ informed you by way of His Gospel that your marriages have absolutely nothing to do with the Kingdom of God - Luke 20 vs 34 - 36 - affirming God's decree and curse placed on marriage since right after the fall of man in Genesis 3 vs 16. What Jesus Christ instead said is of the Kingdom of God is the permission given to those who chose to live as Eunuchs for the sake of His Kingdom - Matthew 19 vs 11 - 12. So rather than those who chose marriage, it is instead those who choose to remain singles as Eunuchs that that have blessing of God's Kingdom..

This is strictly for believers who have submitted to Jesus Christ, the Word of God, not just Jesus Christ the synoptic gospels.

I've been having issues with guys for years now, especially with guys I sleep with.
Whenever I like a guy, or get interested in a guy and then i have sex unintentionally (he wants it but I don't).. After then there's this irritation, I loose interest, I cut the person off.

It's more like he has sold his value to me, like there's no prize, probably he is a great guy but that act alone makes me very uncomfortable.

Marriage is such a beautiful thing.
No matter what others think, say or experience. No matter what the media spews.
We simply have to pray, learn what God says and patiently wait to get it right.

To be Happily Married, we have to be Happily Single.

Happiness comes from having a whole life.
Wholeness/Completeness/Fulfillment comes from Christ.
We enter into marriage for purpose fulfillment.

Most Single people wish to be married while some Married people wish to be single. The Irony.

Your singleness is a blessing. It is the only time you have to develop yourself spiritually, emotionally, mentally, academically, professionally, financially, socially and maritally.
Marriage comes with co-responsibilities. And that requires preparedness.

You can either learn to be responsible while single or be forced to be responsible in marriage.
Build yourself for your desired marriage.
Don't be thinking of who to depend on. Be thinking of being who can be depended on.

Wise singles don't look for husband materials or wife materials. They focus on they themselves being marriage material- Good spouse, parent and role model.
Then truly, you become like treasures.

As a Married Couple, you should be able to enjoy being Single even in marriage. You shouldn't have to be dependent on your partner for Happiness.

Anything can become an addiction.
There are good addictions, and there are bad addictions.
Good addictions may include being studious, being ready to work/help, being prayerful, worshipping and serving God, being charitable, etc.
We know the bad addictions already.

Your first victory over your addiction is realising its become a problem that if you do not kill now, will eventually kill you.
So congrats in advance over your final victory over it.

Cos this realisation alone is what makes you get desperate for help now.

Until you're desperate for help, you may not find it. And you may also find it difficult to muster the requisite commitment to win this battle.

Yes, it's a battle. A battle against something that has the capacity to kill you. (My apologies if that makes you uncomfortable but it's the truth.)

I had 2 female neighbours die recently, one from low blood sugar, the other from high blood sugar.
Ladies especially get addicted to carbonated drinks, specifically coke.
I won't say drinking coke is bad, but I believe there's an undisclosed element in coke that has been said to make it addictive.

What you need to do is allow your desperation drive you to turn to God for help.
Now there are several gods, I only know one true God who is able to save you completely and even bless you with Good addictions.

Every bad addiction is as a result of lack or loss of self control.
You can either lose control over your flesh or your spirit or your mind or your emotions. Either as a result of a spiritual attack or habits that have gotten out of hand.

I could attempt to suggest a couple of ways God has helped me and continues to help me overcome my addictions, but if I take away the God from it, I can assure you it won't have been possible.
One of the gifts he'll give you is Self Control.
Trust me as simple as this sounds, it's what you need.

I pray for you that you win this battle and receive Power from above in Jesus name. AMEN.

Our definition/understanding of Grace determines what it can make out of us.
Grace, like every other identity of God is multifaceted.

-There's a dimension of Grace that is defined as God's Unmerited Favour. Ephesians 2:8
-There's another dimension of Grace that is defined as Access to God's unlimited provisions and supplies. 2 Corinthians 9:8
-There's yet another dimension of Grace which is defined as the Enablement of God to become like Christ. Titus 2:11-12

Those who only define Grace as Unmerited Favour can easily be misled to think they can continue in sin as Grace abounds. But in the words of Apostle Paul, God Forbid.

Those who define Grace as Access to God's unlimited provisions and supplies tend to be easily misled with the gospel of prosperity (financial, money)

Those who define Grace as Enablement for Christ-likeness more often than not tend to be self-righteous.

But those who define Grace in the Light of all three definitions walk in the Wholeness of the Manifestation of Grace.

Grace truly is the Unmerited Favour of God that gives us Access to the All-sufficiency of God through the blood of Jesus Christ and supplies us with the enablement to be like Christ for the establishment of God's Kingdom and Righteousness.

Grace and Understanding to us all.

So I'm not one who can be confused by double talk again in Christianity. from jw to pure grace you should know it is not Mayi Mayi. See were the problem is now-- you're directing your preachment to those sanctified, justified with some "however " conjunction, even though most religious mindset Christians prefer the "but" type just to drive home their intellectual doubletalk. Our heart and flesh doesn't need any sanctifying, just listen to how you want to confuse others and yourself even more. I saw where you reiterated "renewing" as I told you in my earlier post, why can't you just stop there, why go looking for more ways to twist the English to "assign some more works to be done by your readers" instead of accepting the work done on the behalf of believers. Preachments on more sanctifying, more repentance from sin, more dedication, more grace is not for the believer. The confusion for religious mindset people is with trying to speak big English into Scripture to make themselves look important forgetting that bible was not originally written in English. Go and read good commentaries like Matthew Henry on passages with these words-- repentance from sin, grace, backsliding. These words doesn't even apply to believers. Why do you guys keep threatening believers salvation with it? The Christian is not a sinner, the Christian does not need repentance from sin, he needs acknowdgement of his real identy in Christ, a believer does not backslide, Jesus came in the flesh, if we sin he is familiar with our weaknesses and will not nail us for our sins(2corinthians 5:18-19) rather he is devoted till the end. Only Israel backslided. As I conclude only embrace what God has done in Jesus don't use English to look for more works to do, he has done all, you are no longer a sinner and stop calling Christians sinners.

Wow from Jw to Pure Grace. I see why Apostle Paul's teachings resonate very well with you.

Paul does not teach that we cannot sin though. He simply teaches that Christ has delivered us from the law of sin and into the law of liberty, so that we should walk in the Spirit and we would not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

As long as you have the Leading of the Holyspirit and you maintain a fervent prayer and study life, you will do well.

I get you. Yes, we have been justified and sanctified by our new birth, yea our Spirit is of Christ. Halleluyah!

However, our Flesh and Mind need continual Sanctification by the Word of God and the Leading of the Holy Spirit..
We need to submit to the disciplining of our flesh (the sinful nature we were so used to) and renewing of our minds (our perverted mentality) through conslstent hearing of Faith.
Lest we find ourselves in Christ yet still working the works of the flesh and glorifying the nature of sin.

If we walk according to our flesh, we find ourselves manifesting works of sin.
But if we walk in the Spirit, we will be manifesting the glory of God and working the good works of our Father in heaven.

These holiness people are not only hypocrites BUT antichrists. If your good works qualify you for heaven then worship your proud and arrogant self after rejecting what JESUS DID FOR YOU.

I won't go as far as condemning anyone who is in Christ. For Romans 8:1 says it all.
But I believe you should understand his point.

We are saved from worldly and vain glories, to manifest the glory of Jesus Christ.
Anyone who holds the belief that they're the Greatest of all time (GOAT), has taken the glory away from God.
It's ok if people call you GOAT, you have no power over that. But it's a subtle way pride creeps in.
You'll be surprised how iniquity crept into Lucifer, a glorious Archangel.
But today he has become Satan- the hallmark of Sin, Pride and vain Glory,

Now depending on the inner workings of Grace in you, as a believer you will come to know that the end result for you and I is to manifest the glory of God which is Christlikeness- His Humility, His Character, His Wisdom, His Power, His Life, His Passion, etc. His Fruit and Gifts.
This no doubt is capable of making you the Greatest in your sphere/Industry.

Jesus Christ, even though He deserved to glorify himself, yet He never did, He always gives the glory to His Father- God in heaven.
Likewise the Apostles after Him.

We have to be sensitive and careful about the things, characters and doctrines that have become "normal" in our modern day Christianity. For the devil is ever looking for whom to devour.
But thank God, Jesus Christ is ever interceding for us and giving us Grace to be both discerning and Overcomers.

But if the standard is the Bible, then such antichrist ideas could be backed up using some examples and teachings in the Bible that do not tally with Christ's teachings.

There's a reason why Jesus specifically instructed His disciples to teach all men to keep His own teachings. Matthew 28:20

Those who are truly His followers would abide by His teachings, but the false ones would want to use certain examples and teachings in the Bible to justify such ideas, even though they clearly go against Christ's teachings.

Immorality, Adultery, Fornication could be sweet, and fun until you close your eyes in Death and open it on the other side of life. Then will you understand that The HolyBible is not a story book.

Lets Fear God, REPENT from our evils and obey HIS word. The Consequences of disobeying GOD is not fun at All.
