Politics / Re: There Was Deliberate Attempt To Deny Igbo Opportunity To Rule Nigeria — Ikpeazu by pressplay411(m): 7:17am On Apr 22, 2023
ChEkWaSIyKe:
This is nothing but the truth. Wether Nigerians like it or not, an Igbo Presidency is the only way forward for Nigeria to witness a 360° turn around. Wether igbos rule Nigeria or not, they have absolutely nothing to lose and will continue to remain above other region in education, business, wealthy and lot more.

It is statements like this that makes his observation correct.

You can't be claiming to be better than the rest and making others feel inferior and then expect them to extend open and friendly arms to you.

If Ndigbo truly are the best, prove it by making your states/region better than the rest.of Nigeria. Then you would have validated your proud position and assertion.

Until then, be humble and learn how to play good politics and other regions will stop resisting you.
Cos truly, no one can deny the grace for business and wealth that God has naturally endowed Ndigbo with.

All the regions of Nigeria have their God-given Grace.
That's why we will truly be the Giant of Africa when we unite in peace, love and mutual respect for one another.

God bless Nigeria
God bless us Nigerians.
God bless our Generation.

Used to Think “Bianca” and “Biafra” Were Igbo Words!
By Farooq Kperogi

Twitter: @farooqkperogi

Don’t laugh too hard at my ignorance, but until fairly recently, I used to think Bianca was an Igbo name and thought any non-Igbo person who bore the name did so out of (benign) appellative appropriation—such as many Black Americans who bear African names.

Don’t blame me: the first person I ever knew to bear the name was Bianca Onuh Ojukwu, the former beauty queen who became former Biafra warlord Emeka Ojukwu’s wife. Through the logic of false attraction, I thought the “bia” in Bianca was derived from the Igbo “bia” that means “come.”

This notion was congealed in my mind because “bia” is probably Igbo language’s single most recognized word to other non-Igbo Nigerians. “Bia” is lexically frozen in my imagination in the trinitarian alternative indigenous name for Nigeria called WAZOBIA, which is formed from the Yoruba “wa,” the Hausa “zo” and the Igbo “bia,” which all mean “come” in English.

In addition, Biafra, the name Igbo people chose for their homeland when they seceded from Nigeria and which new secessionists still cherish and embrace, begins with “bia.” In fact, an Igbo friend and classmate of mine in high school by the name of John Chukwu convinced me that “Biafra” was short for “bia fara,” which he said literally meant “come take” in Igbo.

You can imagine my shock when I discovered that even Biafra that I’d invoked as the lexical evidence for associating “Igboness” to the name Bianca and which my friend told me meant “come take,” isn’t even an Igbo word! It’s a Portuguese word—like Lagos is, by the way.

Well, maybe it’s incorrect to say Biafra is a Portuguese word since it really doesn’t mean anything in Portuguese—like Lagos does in the language. (Lagos is the Portuguese word for lakes.) We do know, however, that Biafra was singlehandedly invented by Portuguese explorers and cartographers to refer to “the Gulf of Guinea stretching from the Niger River delta to northern Gabon.”

But why would people want to escape an odious colonial name like “Nigeria” for another colonial exonym like “Biafra”? If Biafra would be an ethno-state, what’s hard about coming up with an Igbo name for it? Are we that mentally damaged by colonial subjugation that we can’t even name ourselves by our names in our dream ethno-states?

Back to Bianca. I learned that Bianca is actually an Italian name that means “white.” How interesting! If I had taken literature in high school, I probably would have encountered the name in Shakespeare’s “Othello” and “The Taming of the Shrew.”

https://www.farooqkperogi.com/2021/07/used-to-think-bianca-and-biafra-were.html

There's mystery in names.
Nice writ.
Informative yet rhetorical, keeps the mind working.

Religion / Divine Access Through Humility by pressplay411(m): 3:55pm On Apr 21, 2023
Divine Access Through Humility

Humility is the key to His Kingdom.
By Humility it was established and only By Humility can it be accessed and entered.

If God, our Creator could Humbly become Flesh as Jesus Christ his only begotten Son to endure and bear our sin and shame, curse and pain, our life and death on earth.
He could endure the insults and lauding of His earthly masters just to teach us servitude and patience.

If as much as he detests Sin, as irritating as sin is to God, the opposite of Sin. Him being Righteousness yet He could confine himself to endure sin for over 33 years.
Can you even lock yourself inside LAWMA truck for 33 seconds??

Yet he endured this for over 33 years! He endured us in the stench and foulness of our sinfulness.

Please if for nothing else but For this God, Be Humble!!!

Only Humility can make you turn to God for Help.
Only Humility can make you acknowledge that sin has destroyed your life or is destroying your life.
Only Humility can make you acknowledge that you (a believer or religious leader) has fallen from Grace and need to rededicate your life to God.
Only Humility can make you set aside your differences and grievances with others and focus on what matters most- God.

Only Humility before God can make you shameless before men. Dancing and Praising and Worshipping him the way you know he is worthy to be Praised!
King David could not contain himself before the Ark of God.

Only Humility can make you care less about what people will say but what God says. God says Forgive, why not Forgive yourselves and live in love and peace.

Only Humility can make you know that you know too little about God, about every thing. Only Humility can make you seek Knowledge from God and any one who knows even if it is your subordinate, younger ones or nor-so-friendly neighbour.

Humility can not be over emphasized. It is the secret to life, the Kingdom of God, accessing deeper things of God through the Holyspirit and eternal life!

Be Humble.
James 4:10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Religion / Re: Walking In Obedience by pressplay411(m): 11:38am On Apr 20, 2023
We are saved to be restored to Glory.

Adam was the first son of God.
Due to his disobedience. We all lost the glory of God.

Jesus Christ is the Second Adam. With a Greater Glory than Adam.
And due to his righteousness, we are all redeemed into the greater glory Adam never got to experience.

Even Jesus Christ never fully manifested the Greater Glory here while in flesh. Selah

Which is why he said to His disciples (You and I)
That we will do greater works.

Let us not be discouraged.
Let us not despair.

We are exactly where the God knows we will be at the very moment in existence.

God works with time.

He has exercised long suffering for centuries and even millennia.

All he wants is for us to be perfected and to prove ourselves faithful for him to commit such greater works into our hands.

In conclusion, we should not attempt to finish by the flesh, all we must do is cry to God to increase our faith according to His will.

We need to count as rubbish everything we have counted as glorious.

For only God can put in our hearts the ability and Grace to be obedient and faithful.

Galatians 5:16-18
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Phillipians 2:13
For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

My prayer for us all, is that we will Become.
We will Manifest.
We will walk in Obedience to the will of God.
And we will receive the Faith, Humility, Patience and Love that is required in Jesus name. Amen
Religion / Walking In Obedience by pressplay411(m): 11:32am On Apr 20, 2023
WALKING IN OBEDIENCE

Before I begin, I will like us to share the same understanding of the title by giving the basic definition of the component words.
Walk:
1. To be in motion; to act; to move.
2. To take for a walk or accompany on a walk.

Walking:
1. Characterized by or suitable for walking.

I only just now discovered a new definition for Walking. Which I want us to pay a closer attention to;
Walking:
Incarnate as a human; living.
E.g. Pastor James is a walking epistle. Selah

Let's prepare our questions, if any.

Obey:
To do as one is told.
Obedient::
Willing to comply with the commands, orders, or instructions of those in authority.
Obedience:
The quality of being obedient.

Juxtaposing these together;
Walking In Obedience can be translated to mean;
Living a Life Of Following Instructions.

We all follow instructions everyday.
The question is whose instructions are we following?
Are we following?

The Life and Entirety of Our Existence is hinged on Obedience or Disobedience.
Which brings me to the anchor verse of this message.

Isaiah 1;19-20
If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;

But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Instruction is central to any organisation.
Instruction is crucial to any product.
Instruction is therefore central to the most important creation of God- Man.

Thanks to Myles Monroe, I found that God's Instruction/Manual to man is the Bible.
Even more appropriately- His Word.
His Revelation.

When we are born, we naturally inherit the rebellious, disobedient spirit of the fallen man, Adam.

Ps.51.5 - Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.

This is why we all struggle with Obedience and naturally hate instruction and correction.

The moment you tell a child, don't do this.
In that very moment, he will start doing it.

Let's not be quick to judge the child.

Even as adults, we have not broken-forth into our
dreams, manifestations and divine promises simply because of our attitude to instruction.

Romans 7:15
For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

For this cause, God knew only He could save us from our rebellious and disobedient spirit.

1 Tim 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.

What the Scripture calls a Mystery, is a secret that cannot be understood until God breaks the seal of our understanding.
And even then, we understand in part.

Jesus Christ is the Mystery of Godliness. Selah

Only Jesus Christ could break us from the yoke and bondage of Disobedience and Rebellion.

Is it not curious, that even when our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ has delivered us and finished the works, we are still struggling with Disobedience?

Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, walked among us.
Walked closely with his disciples for over 3 years.
Yet, they were still struggling with Unbelief, Fear, Disobedience.

He had to beg the father to send the Holy Spirit.

John.16.7 - Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

As a Born-again, New Creation, Spirit and Fire Filled, is it not curious that we still struggling with Disobedience?

It is simply because we are so strong-willed.

Some of us love our personalities more than we love Christ.
For some it is witchcraft.

Galatians 3:1-3
O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?
This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

I wish I could expound more. But I trust the Holy Spirit to perfect all that is concerning our Obedience through the ministers.

The Goal of the Life of a Christian is to be Like Christ.
Not like our selves.
Not like our pastors.
Not like our idols.

The Holyspirit will use our personalities before Christ to minister to others, but that is not who we are called to be.

We are to become, Like Christ.

In conclusion,
God went to a great length to save us, not for us to continue to be the way we are.
Not for us to continue to struggle with sin.
Not for us to continue to live like mere men.
Not for us to want to be the best among our peers.
Not even for us to the best pastors.

Whatever you wrote here & also in your initial post completely ignores the fact that Nigeria is highly traditional and those roles which are defined and expected of us in the 80s and are still expected of us today in 2023. We can all summersault 100 times and It won't change anything for both genders. In Nigeria. Do you what is funny? This same type of analog love is what people in Western countries miss & they always cry about how they miss Lagos men & how Lagos men take care of them the most, I suggest you should invest more time in watching British black women podcasts. Watch programmes that explore more of black women outside Nigeria. Go on Instagram, see what women are saying about Lagos men. You'll be shocked.

Persephone1:
"Marry a typical Nigerian Man at your own peril"

When I type these words, it's not from a place of hate towards men ( I don't hate anybody) It is from careful analysis of marriages to Nigerian Men which mostly lack genuine love, empathy and kindness. Nigerian Marriages are mostly driven by "needs" and "means" to an end. Too systematic and unnatural and the one with the highest bargaining chip gets the most benefit.

Our mothers didn't teach us enough about Men. They didn't know either until they got married, unfortunately they are still learning about Men too. That is why the popular saying "Ile oko ile eko ni" (Your husband house is a school) is usually the soothing balm to unfavourable experiences a wife has with her husband. One question I always ask myself when I hear these words as parting words of advice for young wife is. Does that mean she is getting married into a strange, unknown and possibly unfavourable world? Why represent her husband as an unending course? And will she ever graduate and be relieved of painful lessons?. Ask these women these questions and they will shake their heads in mockery but the truth is, They weren't taught enough about the Men they are getting married to. How would they when they didn't know who they are either. To understand another person there must be a certain level of self awareness you have reached yourself. This way you have enough level of intelligence to be a perfect judge of character. But when a woman believe all she needs to be is a good cook and good konji reliever then all she will seek is a man who has Kitchen and bed.

Men are the worst in this joke of an institution. Configured to believe all they need to posses is Financial ability to provide. The upbringing of the typical Nigerian Man is very very wrong. Trained with little to no empathy, kindness, self care, sense of belonging, self love but burdened with sense of responsibility brought up like a robot to "provide" only. Most Nigerian men are robotic minded, unable to connect emotionally without aide yet this men are expected to naturally see their brides as a part of themselves. Wishful thinking if you ask me. And when some men luckily achieve this, the society (Men and Women) mock him. Aside this, they don't readily know what they want and are easily tossed by the society.

We create a society devoid of emotional engagement but want the benefits emotions birth. Compassion and affections brings liberty, a man who lacks these will see his wife as his slave and property, he gets to do with her what he seem best and not what is good for her. We really have a long way to go as a Society.

Romance / Re: Everyone Has A Role To Play - Respect Everyone! by pressplay411(m): 2:29pm On Apr 19, 2023
Reminderz:
We all want to reach greater heights in life, we all want to be rich... No one wished to be born poor or to die poor, no one desires to do that “dirty” work, everyone wishes to be his or her own boss. No one wants to feel inferior to the other. No one wished to be looked down upon.. but come to think of this...

As the popular saying or slang goes, "This Life Nor Balance"... Yeah, it is true, it isn't balance. we are not born equally.. some people have opportunities than others.. some people met luck on the way, some people are way more privileged than the other.. some people have never known suffering throughout their life, some people were born with very good genes... and sadly, we have people on the other part as well...

If you're lucky to be born privileged, count yourself lucky... you're not wise, you're not smart, you were just lucky... give thanks to Jah..

You have a role to play, if you're were lucky to be born in the first part and also the second.. if everyone were rich, who will be driving commercial buses (danfo) or riding okada? or does everyone has the power to afford Uber or get their own car? especially in an economy that isn't favourable to most people? who will take out the thrash if everyone were rich? who will repair the soakaway or flush the septic tank? who will engage in hard labour on site to build all these structures for the “privileged? who will do all the “dirty” works you think you're too big for? who will do the maid or security works? is it the so called rich or powerful people? Respect everyone! we were made for each other to make life easy.. help people while you can, sometimes don't have any reason to render help if you have the power... just do it!

You were lucky to be born where opportunities will meet you faster.. some work very hard from scratch to get to where they are... some were not born lucky, some were born poor and will also die poor no matter how hard they work.. most people when they get successful in life, they think, this is because of the kind of school I read, or the exposure I got, or how smart I am, they forgot to mention the opportunities they had, the connections they had, the kind of people they were privileged to stay or work it... they think they were all that power and might to pull it off themselves easily...

You're not smart, you're just lucky...

I have accepted my fate okay. I hate that someone would love to have a family and you tag me as desperate. Everyone is thinking I'm desperate. But when I go ahead to have kids on my own because noone would take me seriously, I know the new names I will be called. And if I decide to be by myself, I will still be called names.

It's OK to own up to being desperate.
Our desperation is an access key.
Only the desperate can really see God's intervention.

Amos.6.1 - Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, And trust in Mount Samaria, Notable persons in the chief nation, To whom the house of Israel comes!

Read it from 1-14 and you'll see why.
Not acknowledging our desperation before God and some times before man is a communication of pride of the heart. Its a subtle kind of pride but very dangerouss all the same.

This is why Jesus Christ himself confirm this. We have to be desperate and hungry to contend for our spiritual inheritance. Cos only when you suffer for it will you value it.

Matt.11.12 - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

It's the reason God says he hates Esau but Loves Jacob.
He knew afore-time that Esau did not care for his spiritual inheritance. But Jacob knew its worth and was even ready to trick his father for it. Even though God doesn't support trickery.
Imagine selling God's special gift for food just cos you're hungry? No matter how hungry you may be for material things, your hunger for the God and your spiritual inheritance should be more important.
Thats why God tests our seriousness with fasting.

Jesus Christ concludes thus;

John.4.34 - Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

I hope you've picked a thing or two.
I'm only communicating thus cos you are a worker. You should discern this.

In summary, more important than getting married and raising a family is seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Grow and have a balance spiritual, professional, academical, emotional, mental, etc life.
Know how God speaks to you and be willing to Obey.

Grace, Peace and Joy multiplied to you Amen.

(1) you voted for Tinubu
(2) you support APC corrupt and oppressive regime,
(3) you support the injustice in the country cos you think it favors you somehow.
(4) you are tribalistic and have supported the old system that have impoverished and kept us down for a very long time and want to keep the status quo
(5) you have not stepped your foot outside the country, so you have become so used to hard life that you have no experience how a good life feels. you think its all about money right?
you are poor no matter the amount of money you have if you dont have good roads, if you dont have light, if you are surrounded by poor people.
and besides you lack the exposure necessary to come here and start telling us the advantages and disadvantages of traveling out. Bleep-off boy.

Hi Puremind.
Do you perceive that you love Nigeria more than other Nigerians?

Do you believe anyone wants another 8 years of this suffering that has turned Nigeria and Nigerians to a shadow of what we used to be in the distant past?

Just as you believe Peter Obi is the solution to salvaging the system and problem of Nigeria, so do other Nigerians believe Tinubu is the solution.
So do some believe Atiku is. Like wise those who believe Kwankwanso is.

As long as we practise Democracy, that is the prerogative of every Nigerian citizen. The right to choose and vote their own presumed Leaders.

Is our Democracy flawed? Certainly.
Is this peculiar to Nigeria? Absolutely No.
Is it the last election/electoral process that will make our Democracy perfect? Only a wishful thinking.

I'm only going to this great length to share this with you because your moniker caught my attention and it shows you truly mean well.

I did not have any candidate out of the four major presidential candidates in the election for personal reasons.
By virtue of my own beliefs/ideals none of them was my choice candidate.
I wanted Yemi Osnibajo or Fashola, whose track records I resonate with.

But the moment that didn't happen, I settled for God's Will to be done.
If Peter Obi turns out to be the winner, good.
And if Tinubu, good.

I know most of us prayed towards this election.
And some times when God answers our prayers, it does not manifest the way we envisioned.
But He has answered it all the same.
When we align with God's will, we will begin to see the answer to our Prayers.

But when we resist and rebel against the answered prayers, we become frustrated and start working against our own answered prayers.

It is a sad thing for God to answer ones prayer only for one to reject it for what "looks" better.

I pray that the new President by May 29 will start what will truly bring the manifestations of our answered prayers. In Jesus name.

Cos restoring the Glory of Nigeria is not even an 8-year task. But is anything too hard for God?
And it doesn't depend on the Leaders alone but also we the Followers. That's what Democracy is.

I pray this meets you well.
And I pray by God's Grace and Mercies, this our generation will experience a New Nigeria, even in this incoming administration in the name of Jesus.
A Nigeria that Nations will begin to buy visas to relocate to Nigeria.
Because Nigeria is truly a Land Flowing with milk and honey- (Human and Minerals resources).

We need to understand that it is God that will take the Glory. And we will not forget how much we suffered for it.

Peace be unto you.

If Peter was a patient soul like Tinubu. PDP would have won this 2023 election...

If you combine Atiku and Peter Obi's votes it supercedes Tinubus vote.

Victory was surly in the hands of PDP, but Peter Obi ruined it..

By now PO, would have been the one jubilating not Tinubu.

Peter will leave to regret is carless 2023 polictical decision..

It's better to be a VP, than having nothing.. He can still contest for the highest office later in life. The most important mission for him to put this one in the bag first.

I rest my case.

I'm shocked.
I'm hearing this perspective from an Obidient for the first time.
You've spoken with much wisdom.

Every thing played out the way it was meant to happen for this election.
In due time Peter Obi will be honored. How he will be honored I do not yet know.

God's time is the best for every thing in life. It must not be too early and must not be too late.
It just has to be the right time.

God bless us all.

Rema has a better catalogue than this though.
Calm down is not really a live band song. So that cheated the stage appeal here.

His performance was rather drab for me, a Nigerian, I can imagine for a foreigner ancipqting the African magic.lol
I pray he comes back to his roots and converts to Gospel music.
Romance / Re: My 8th Time Getting Rejected By Women In Canada Over A Period Of One Year by pressplay411(m): 12:25pm On Apr 11, 2023
alert01:
My story and I choose to share it on an anonymous forum to heal.

Shortly before COVID, I went to Canada on a student Visa for an Ms program. After my degree, I decided to stay. And here is my dating story

From 2019 to 2021, I wasn't in a serious relationship with anyone since I was a student and still trying to get my finances in order. My province, in fact, my school didn't really have Nigerians like that. BC seem to have decent concentration of Nigerians tho. However, within that year, I asked two ladies out who I know were also looking for serious relationship, but rejected me. One was Rwanda, and the other one from Eritrea. They were both working class ladies that time. I just recently only get to know I was rejected base on look and height.

Okay, last year I got a job and I seemed to be doing decently fairly. But I still didn't find a woman yet to date me. I put myself on Tinder, but didn't get match. The only match I got, she ghost me after our second meeting. I wasn't her taste and standard. She was looking for a 6ft ,good looking and heavily built guy.

I tried linking up with few Nigerian guys who introduced me to their circles. Somehow, I got to meet women. I met oyinbo women too. The two I told about love interests also didn't show interest.

Another Nigerian, just got here last year on a student Visa, also couldn't date me.

But the one that really pained me most was an Eritrean lady I got in contact with recently. She is a citizen already. She ghost me after seeing my pictures 😭.

I'm only a little around 5ft 3in. On the side of big, but not that overweight and I've been going to gym now trying to get a slim body. I'm not where I need to be financially but I'm not doing too bad.

Yours will come. Focus on fulfilling your purpose through God.
When a good woman meets a man with purpose, looks become inconsequential.

Build yourself spiritually, you will be spoilt for choice. Cos you will need discernment to choose your own wife and raise the family that pleases and honors God.

God bless you and I pray you have a successful life in Canada but always remember your home.

Mtchew..

Not for the masses..

Levels pass levels..

Soyinka is a branch of literature. Him & his categories are what writers of the story books you do buy are consulting, studying & propagating..

Honestly, it's too laughable.

And some people still doubt that this is witchcraft/curse?

I just thank God that not all Igbos are doomed.

Those that will be saved will be saved but nothing can stop those that will perish from perishing.

It's simply divine principle.

Massiveglory:
Soludo is a Great guy unfortunately his hate for the soaring profile of Peter obi is his greatest mistake.

Soludo is dazed by the soaring love, followership and popularity of Peter obi among Nigerians. Deep inside, he is not happy about it. So he is trying to force himself into reckoning.

Soludo, Peter obi did not get this love by the way you are going. Infact PO was relatively unknown during his stint as governor.

Peter obi has a divine seal that has catapulted him to the hearts of the Nigeria people. He did not fight for it. He didn't get this love because of post or degree.

Quit this your hate for Peter obi. Peter Obi will be your president whether you like it or not.
Hating on Peter obi will diminish you politically and otherwise.
Quit the hate. Attach yourself to man with grace if not you will be embrassed again and again.

Do you realise that seeking or having love, affirmation, validation from people is not a litmus test for being a good person or leader.

In fact, in the real important cases it's the contrary.

Jesus Christ, our role model as Christians ran away from people's love and validations.
Do you know why?

Because he knew the true hearts/intents/motives of people.

Truth is, most of us don't even know our true hearts but Jesus does. And that's why he decides who he chooses, who he blesses, who he commits himself to.

Until you stop judging by sight, you will be calling for the Crucifixion of Jesus and worst still praising Barabbas in disguise.

Yes.

But that wasn't what you quoted?

And even this says nothing about the 'appropriate' age for marriage in. The bible?

So I ask ; what's the biblical appropriate age for marriage since it not in the bible?

Oh! We may have to rely on our understanding here.

I really don't like back and forth. I've made my point from my very first comment on this thread.
I never said there's a fixed appropriate age for marriage.
I never said everyone must marry.
You got all that from your own interpretation.

My submission:
"Place your life in God's hands."
"No one shoe/size fits all."

Do you know that God loves you so much, and that's why He has prevented/protected you from marrying yet?
Be of good cheer!, what you consider shame is God working out a glorious package for you.
I was particularly excited when you said youre a worker (sanitation/sanctuary cleaner) at that.
Rejoice, yours will be a special testimony.

Some discussions are beyond NL.
Perhaps we can arrange a phone call some time.

Proverbs 14 isn't referring to life choices that are not sinful. For instance, choosing a red shirt Vs a blue one. Choosing an SUV Vs a sedan.

Proverbs 14 is referring to a way of sin that seems right to us. but destructive. NOT the choice of marital age — which is NEVER wrong.

That's to the discretion of each individual.

Paul (Apostle) for instance wasn't married. You'll say it was his devotion to God BUT realize that he was already a GROWN UNMARRIED adult before his conversion.

Prov.3.5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
