themosthigh:Can you imagine the man? Apparently, he didn't know that people were suffering then and there was recession, believe me, he still doesn't know that things are hard for Nigerians.. |
nonsobaba:Bros, Boko Haram has been defeated... same can not be said of Biafra... |

Even with so much hype, artist are still boycotting the award.. Anyway, it's not a new thing if Artists doesn't show up for an award, i've seen award show where the actual winners are not present... So no big deal!! |
patriotic9jaboy:In as much as I and so many others don't support his line of business, u still do not have the moral right to judge him or any other person. Only God knows the kind of crime u commit behind close doors... |
This is all i have to say!! We should just allowed them to make there own mistake... |
There is no better way to spit this out, but some very talented Nigerian artistes have been blatantly underrated and it hurts. Again, it’s may be a little difficult to place, the reason why their talents and hardwork doesn’t meet with commensurate recognition and applause. From time to time these group of artistes have proved their mettle, but alas, e be like say the Nigerian music industry is sleeping on them. In most cases, they don’t get to bag major awards, the best they can land are nominations. It looks like they are just used to complete the count. They never make it as our best artiste, it’s hard to describe them as the hottest thing on the music scene at the moment. They rarely headline big concerts. Being called underrated even becomes an understatement. Fact is that they are a caldron of bubbling talent, their talent is never in short supply. These group of Nigerian artistes have been solid for the most part, achieved plausible feats, dropped dope material and have come through a number of times. Yet still we are snoring on them. They are never the ones we get to hype, we rarely swoon over them. It seems they are always just a step shy of hitting their jackpots. Therefore, it is only suitable they wear the tag of the “underrated Nigerian artiste”. BURNA BOY Before you tear yourself apart, for the most part Burna Boy has been very underrated and overlooked. Burna Boy whose real name is Damini Ogulu is a Nigerian patois spitting dancehall and pop artiste. Personally, I want to say Burna spits patois better than ——– you know who am talking about, fill in the gap. Burna has been very much a sub not the main meal at very serious concerts. It’s only recently Burna Boy had the chance to headline a concert alone in the UK. I am very much in doubt that feat would have been achieved back here in Nigeria his home country. For an artiste of his repertoire, he has not received much love from the industry in terms of awards. I can’t remember the last award Burna Boy won based on his individual efforts. Hope you get my point. JESSE JAGZ Jesse is almost phenomenal with everything he does. Yet he doesn’t get recognized as the best hip-hop artiste, why? He has only been able to take home lyricist of the year award from the Headies, nothing major I can remember in recent times. From time to time ’emperor jagz’ has producing solid materials yet he gets the snub. He is one rapper who hasn’t joined the singing gang yet. RUNTOWN “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.” The above biblical quote sums up the case of Runtown. Half the cheers Runtown gets outside the shores of Nigeria is yet to be accorded him here at home. Can anyone remember the Enugu born is the first brand ambassador for Adidas in Africa? His debut album Ghetto University made him top 5 Most Streamed Artist” in Nigeria, generating over N35 million turn over on MTN Music Plus. Douglas Agu seems not to get enough respect in spite of his feats in the music industry in a short span. SOLIDSTAR Will you be shocked to know that Solid Star has just one award, and zero nominations as reflected in his Wikipedia page? For the record Solid Star has been officially active from 2010 until now. You will get my point when you think of new comers like Korede Bello, Adekunle Gold, Reekado Banks and Kiss Daniel having more recognition than this fine singer. This brother has been dropping some tight jams over time. It’s unclear why he hasn’t bagged at least any important nominations since he won an award in 2010. This is the epitome of being so underrated. ‘Omotena’, ‘Skibo’, ‘Oluchi’ and ‘Wait’ are some of his best offering. What could be the missing link for Solid Star. YUNG6IX Onome Onokohwomo aka Yung6ix self-styled king of the south is a Nigerian hip-hop practitioner. In a climate were Nigerian rappers and hip-hop artistes are turning to singing, Yung6ix is one rapper who I consider is keeping it real as far as rapping goes. It bugs me when the Warri breed rapper is ranked below colleagues who have started singing Fuji and Highlife. Dude makes good rap lyrics with witty play on words, well served punchlines and delivery. Why does the music industry sleep on him? Unfortunately, rapper Yung6ix has worn the tag as an underrated rapper for too long. It’s time to take it off. Put some respek on his name. EVA ALORDIAH Eva is Nigeria’s most popular Femcee and also one of the most underrated females music acts. It’s not easy being a hip-hop practitioner in Nigeria talk more of being a female rapper. Most be why she doesn’t hold much attention. What's your take on the list? You are free to add as well as subtract from the list.. What many people dont know is that for you to win Miss world, Miss universe, Miss Lagos, Miss Abuja, Miss Zamfara, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Anything, So long the people organising it are men, Price must be paid, Miss Anambra 2015 may have paid her own price, but it found her out, I know this because I was among the committee for my School Miss (name of University withheld) a whole lot went down, desperate girls everywhere, I just had to pity them, cause these guys f**ked until there D**ks went sore. |

On Patience Boldly Telling The Court That 31? Million Dollars Is Hers. Clear conscience fears no accusation. Her husband has been getting 1 billion for feeding yearly for six years, another 500 million for two years as VP. For four years getting another 500 million for feeding as Governor plus the one he got as deputy governor. He and her have been getting 300 million for dressing per annum, The husband sitting allowance as president, acting president, vice president, deputy governor and governor runs into billions just as Buhari is getting over 300 million as sitting allowance this year. That does not count salary and allowance That does not count investment of the very first billion and what it will turn to if invested in a company that picks up good contracts (blind investment by a cousin or trusted business partner like Trump will do as president. She can set up people in business to manage her money while she is in government. Again google BLIND TRUST) Now factor that she has not bought one litter of fuel, repaired one car, paid a day's house rent, paid a single staff, bought a shoe with her husband's salary. Everything is FREE So you do not know why people kill to be president? You do not know why Buhari cannot find work in private sector but must hustle PTF or president? You think Tinubu and Buruji do not know Nigerian politics pays better than drug pushing in the US? If you think Patience Jonathan accumulated too much wealth, tell BUHARI to cancel all these allowances. In fact let him PUBLICLY declare his asset and his wife's so you see that anyone that has held public office in Nigeria is a multi millionaire and in dollars. Buhari shrugged and told you "I can afford it" when confronted that all four of his children school abroad and in very expensive schools. Buhari has not worked a day in his life aside government rackets. Late President Yar'Adua declared 10 million dollars and still he hid a whole mansion he has in London even as governor, not even ex- President. El Rufai is said to have declared 90 billion naira. Let Buhari declare his asset PUBLICLY. Government is BIG BUSINESS. Those who accuse Stella of stealing the money have a chance now to go to the court, and as Amicus Curiae or some legal profundity, show where she stole the money from. IT IS HER SAVINGS LIkE YAR'ADUA'S WIFE, LIKE AISHA My point? Nigerian politicians are overpaid and the system cannot afford them. Until Buhari declares his asset publicly, until another first lady's accounts are public no one knows the range of possible wealth of an ex president, so no one can say "how did she get the money?". You have no range to compare with. Give Pepe her money sharply. Na her feeding money she save. This is visible to anyone who can see this post. Posted as received |
I just had to put this up! Lol! #copied Hon. Ojosu Sunday wrote...... MY PRO BONO COUNSEL TO APC PHOTOSHOPPERS IN A DOZEN...PART ONE. APC online propagandists, forgers and photoshoppers, listen up! Next time you are going to regale us with stories and pictures of AISHA IN AMERICA, can you kindly first do the following, please? : 1. Lend yourselves some sense. Contact Charles Ogbu for some; that guy's got an abundance of it, it's just so unfair. And I'm sure he's not using it all 2. Once you've done 1, then you'll automatically remember that the people you want to lie to are exceedingly more intelligent than yourselves. That way you'll be more diligent and circumspect in trying to feed them a poorly-packaged rubbish. 3. Choose an "arrival hall" with high ceilings and built of concrete. Americans don't build their international airports with low-hanging ceilings made of flammable materials. They have building codes that don't allow for that sort of construction. 4. Endeavour to budget a little more money (perhaps you did and Uncle Lai just pocketed the whole lot and set up a shoddy show) so you can actually get more than one miserable "white man" amongst your cast. 5. In continuation of 4 above, include some albinos (no disrespect to these lovely people) and some very light complexioned men and women in your paid-for cast (you'll find an abundance of the later in Rivers (especially Port Harcourt), Cross Rivers, Enugu and Abia States; but then, they'll most likely ignore you). That way people like Euphemia Udanoh and Ena Ofugara won't make fun of you and call your self-created airport arrival hall "the blackest arrival hall" in American history. 6. Invest a little money on some nice shoes and American-styled runners for your cast. It demeans your American-wonder cast to have them wearing bathroom slippers upandan in an American airport arroval hall to welcome Madam Aisha American to her adopted country. It may be summer but the evenings and nights are quite cold for that kind of footwear in North America. 7. As part of 6 above, please invest a little of.Nigeria's money in buying them American-styled coats and winter jumpers to protect them against the punishing American weather, where temperatures could drop into single digits on even summer evenings and nights. Having your cast wear made-in-Aba t-shirts all over the place (while Madam Aisha in America is properly outfitted in her winter wears; smart woman, got her script right! ) makes it look like you carried out this shenanigan of yours somewhere in an airport on the Island of Sao Tome & Principe. 8. Employ some intelligent research fellow; one who will inform you that visiting wives of sitting Presidents do not use the general arrival halls of international airports; international protocol just do not allow that. They are usually sheperd to a VIP section of the airport for diplomatic and security reasons. 9. Those slippers-wearing and Aba t-shirts adorning praise-singers, do I see them singing and dancing INSIDE an international arrival hall - probably shouting "APCshit!" too? Dear APC propagandists, that's a no-no!!! Perhaps somewhere in Nairaland that could happen, but because your madam is actually in America, those singers, dancers and praise-singers INSIDE the arrival hall of an international airport would have been collectively herded into jail for constituting themselves into public nuisance. Americans don't take that kind of nonsense o, didn't they tell you? You really need to borrow yourself a brain!!! 10. Please always remember to carry your national mouthpieces like NTA and Channels agents along when you're about embarking on this kind of charade. How do you think it made you look to have a whole Wife of The Dictator, sorry, President, Her Excellency, Lordess Aisha Halliburton Buhari, travel to a whole United States of America and only ragsheets like Sahara Reporters and Linda Ikeji blogs that will ve giving us feedbacks, ehn? Okay, let's assume Channels already borrowed itself some brains and refused to be part of the sham set-up, wharrabout NTA? They are government's propaganda piece ke, abi? It's disheartening to hear my dainty Aisha finally made it to God's Own country, to the eternal shame of Ayodele Fayose, and not a word of it - I don't even need the video - on any national or regional television channel! 11. And what about our friends at CNN, Aljazeera and BBC? I have remained glued to my DSTV screen ever since the news of AISHA IN AMERICA broke but not one of these international news media even has something as simple as a byeline on the historic visit of the wife of the President of the Black race's greatest nation's visit to the greatest country and largest democracy in the world? Let's agree BBC is still smarting from Fashola's less-than glorious outing on its channel a few days ago, what about our ever-ready-to-serve-at-a-price CNN? Somebody fumbled and dropped the ball here, people! Don't let it happen again!! 12. After you've done all these, please submit the entire end-result to an outsider for vetting. It's obvious - from your past terrible attempts at photoshopping and forgery - that you have not a single brainy one amongst you. I'll recommend you contact Olutoyosi Omotoso for this job; she's as wickedly blunt as anyone I've seen. She'll do a thorough vetting job so you won't have to embarrass yourselves this way in the eyes of the world. |
