How are you and your babies ( born andourborn) may we all be blessed with unending happiness.

I will like to know what it means by a baby being engaged.
Also is there anyone here feeling pains around the ties , burning sensation in the throat and frequent bubbles in the stomach.

Someone asked if I already started my antenatal, no I have not because we are relocating and I have not been chanced to leave for the hospital



Can someone give us List of things we should be having in our bag pack?
Buying them one after the other might save one from buying at an inflated price, Nigeria and recession ; u never can tell what the price of an item will change to the next hour.
Hope my questions aren't much?

Baby being engaged means baby's head is down, in d birth canal, ready for delivery. .

have no idea about the pains.. then the bubbles could most likely be baby's movement. .it starts first as bubbles before it generates to kicks. ..
or maybe you hv gas in your stomach or something?

hospital list is exclusive to each hospital. . your hospital will give you list of items to come with. ..

Those in Port Harcourt, there's a tutoring centre in Rumuokwurusi, 'QTS Tutors' inside St. John's Catholic Church (in the Church's Primary School). Those guys are very good, current and vibrant. I made all my papers with them, same with almost all their students. I'm highly recommending them for Port Harcourt students.

it is quite normal to feel aroused while breast feeding as it is one of those spots in the body (male and female) that generate such. nursing mothers would confirm this. her problem and fear now is the fear of it being incest with an infant.

Everything starts from the mind abeg... even while with your spouse/partner, your mind has to be ready before your body responds. .

Those feeling this way should try and change their mindset and see if any changes occur...

I will say I'm lucky as regards husband helping out with chores . . my husband can do anything .. It's just the way he was brought up .. he even prefers doing stuffs himself cos he doesn't trust the nxt person to do it perfectly..

If not that his job takes him out of town now, we wouldn't have needed a nanny.

It depends on your location and the kind of agent. I paid 20k for agency fee and that was abt 4years ago.

I did those. I didn't do agent fees but you can give N5,000. I do hear of arrangements where the agent takes a percentage of the Nanny's salary. Try and get a picture of her as well, clear as possible. Also, it may seem weird, but let her wear a uniform. It makes it easier to avoid things like "what are you wearing, don't expose your body, your clothes are too tight/faded/unclean, why did you fix nails" blah blah. 3 simple uniforms and it makes her look more professional and upgraded for future employment (Childcare can be serious business, I know someone's nanny whom when she was leaving them, got cash gifts amounting to N450,000 and an offer to return whenever she was available).
