The young son of a prominent businessman based in Jalingo, Taraba state capital - has been killed, days after he was kidnapped by unknown person (s).

It was gathered that the late son of the managing director of Muwanshat International Ventures LTD, Alh. Umaru Yola, was abducted from a mosque when he went for prayers.

While a search was being conducted to find the missing boy, he was found dead with a rope tied round his neck.

The death has left the family of the business mogul and others heartbroken as it has been gathered that a police investigation into the matter is underway.

A man has been apprehended and is currently in police custody for allegedly defiling a primary school student.

It was gathered that the middle-aged man was spotted by a passerby while having sex with the underage pupil in a bush. An alarm was raised leading to the prompt arrest of the man.

Facebook user John who hails from Kwara, shared picture of the man after he was apprehended but didn't give the exact location where it happened.

It was learnt that the suspect has been handed over to the police of possible prosecution after he was beaten by the mob.

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze has recently made fitness his priority as he was recently spotted at a popular exquisite gym center in Awka, Anambra state.

The wealthy philanthropist came in there unannounced and registered for gym sessions at the facility.

He said many should not be surprised, that at his age, keeping fit is a priority to be able to keep up with his demanding engagements and that he picked X-fit gym center due to them being the only gym with state of the art gym facilities and the exclusiveness of the facility.

Justice is being sought for a man who was allegedly assaulted by his employer over money issue in Delta state.

According to Festus Praise Tony, the managing director of GT Maine's Hotel and Suites in Effurun along NPA road, Warri, allegedly attacked his employee identified as Godstime Omashemigbe with bottle following accusation of shortchanging him.

The MD of GT Maine's Hotel and Suites, by Niger Cat junction Effurun along NPA road, should be arrested and charged for assault,as well attempt to murder his staff on 2nd March 2019 about 2000hours.

It has come to our notice that the former NUPENG chairman by name Omimi, in different occasion attempted to kill his staff, and also threatened that,if they voice out, he will ensure he send them to their early grave.

Omimi yesterday used bottle on one of his staff by name God's time Omashemigbe.

This has become a monthly practice according to a source, who revealed that Omimi always come up with fabricated story that the staff shortchanged him, thereby cutting down their salary each month. In attempt to draw his attention politely, to audit his accounts with at least two of his staff to ascertain his claims, doesn't go down well with him, thereby using bottles and kitchen knife on such individual.

We are calling on relevant agencies to bring this thug to book, as we stand to defend the rights of those working for this tyrant. He can't be molesting youths with the illegal wealth he got from Nupeng. There are possible ways of dealing with staff rather than using bottles and kitchen knife.

There was a massive jubilation as a young girl regained her freedom after being kidnapped by suspected ritualists in Delta.

It was gathered that the girl was on her way back from school (days after the election on Feb, 23rd) when she was kidnapped in Isoko South local government area of the state.

According to her, she stopped a motorcycle on her way home and was told by the bike man that he wanted to go and buy fuel from a petrol station which she agreed to.

The motorcyclist also picked up another man whom he claimed he wanted to help. That was how she was kidnapped and taken into a bush.

The teenage girl said on getting there, she saw two other girls in the ritualists' camp who were blindfolded.

She claimed after being forced to lie down and was about to be killed with a cutlass, the master allegedly prevented his boys from killing her as he said that her head is not good for sacrifice.

The young girl was blindfolded, taken out of the ritualists' camp and dumped by the roadside where she met some women who helped her back to her house.

A Facebook user has taken to the social media platform to narrate how his dog battled and killed a cobra which invaded his house.

According to Micheal, the snake was spotted in the compound by the dog which attacked and killed it after minutes of battle.

The dog sat by the slain cobra after emerging victorious in the fight.

Micheal revealed that it was terrifying for him to watch the fight and is scared that the dog might have been bitten by the snake in the course of the fight.

What interested online users was the torn underwear/boxers the young man wore while sagging his trouser as he proudly held his bae in the supermarket.

Facebook user Esther Akudigwe took to the platform to share the picture of the couple and wrote sarcastically; And i saw dis at shop rite. If he cant hold you like dis in public then he doesn't love u. True love still exists.

Meanwhile, online users have shaded the young man over his underwear, with many berating him for not "living up to the standard" despite using an iPhone and flaunting his car key.

Hon. Dr Michael Enyong, the member representing Uyo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, has been accused of belonging the Black Axxe confraternity (Egede), after he was pictured greeting a colleague in the cult's manner.

The lawmaker ran into another politician at the airport in Akwa Ibom which ignited wild jubilation as they reportedly kept echoing "Uyo for Uyo".

A baby was rescued after suspected Fulani herdsmen who attacked Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State recently, killed the mother and dropped her on her lifeless (mother's) body.

According to reports, the child's father who survived the gruesome attack attack is still in the hospital - recovering from injuries sustained.

It was gathered that the wife of the Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom, was the first person to reach out in a bid to help the nine days old child whom has been labelled a 'miracle baby'.

Last week, suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Agatu LGA and killed no fewer than 16 persons.

Caretaker Chairman of Brass Local Government Area, Hon. Victor Isaiah, escaped death on Sunday night as heavily armed military men launched an attack on his official residence in Twon-Brass, Headquarters of Brass Local Government Area.

The chairman who was in the building at the time of the ambush, was having a meeting with members and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on the outcome of the presidential and national assembly elections held on 23rd, February.

Victor Isaiah was not injured during the attack as he was quickly whisked away to safety by his police orderly, but some members and supporters of the PDP sustained various degrees of injuries when escaping the bullets from the berserk military men, leaving others psychologically traumatized.

The soldiers, after surrounding the premises, gained access into the chairman's apartment after breaking through the doors ransacking the various rooms and made away with an undisclosed sum of money and valuable documents.

Speaking to newsmen in Twon-Brass on the attack, the press secretary to the chairman Tamaradoubra Benedict Owei Benjamin, confirmed the unfortunate incident, describing it as wicked and inhumane.

He said "the heavily armed soldiers broke into the chairman's residence through the back gate at about 7:20pm Sunday night when the chairman was in a meeting with PDP members and supporters who had earlier staged a protest against the INEC for accepting the fake Nembe-Bassambiri results"

According to Benjamin, "The meeting was ongoing peacefully when the soldiers invaded the premises and ordered everyone including the chairman to raise up their hands and lie on their stomachs. But before the chairman could identify himself, the military men opened fire on the innocent citizens holding a peaceful meeting wounding scores of them"

He explained that the attack was an assassination attempt on Hon. Victor Isaiah for standing up against the federal government controlled Nigeria military and saying No to the daylight robbery and bias of INEC.

Report has it that a Nigerian man has been arrested in Italy after harassing people and allegedly assaulting police officers.

It was gathered that the 32-year-old Nigerian approached some women in a supermarket in Navacchio, Province of Pisa and allegedly started to harass them before the police were called.

It was scooped that when the police arrived, they tried to pacify the Nigerian immigrant but all pleas fell on deaf ears. He was alleged to have assaulted the police officers.

The suspect was immediately arrested with charge of resistance and violence to public officials. When an investigation was conducted, it was discovered that the Nigerian has no fixed address.

He is currently cooling off in police custody.

Villagers in a community in Bayelsa state, took it upon themselves to track down and kill a python in their area.

According to reports, the huge reptile had been terrorizing the community and eating their animals before a hunt to kill it - was launched by the youths.

The python was later tracked down and butchered by the villagers. The slain python was displayed by the roadside to the excitement of the community.

Maradona, received a pass in Argentina's defending half and went on to dribble past five English players before, again, going by Shilton to slot home.

The 1986 World Cup is highly regarded as the setting where Maradona sealed his legacy as an all-time great.

Angry youths descended upon a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal SARS in Bayelsa State, Mr. Kola Okunlola, after being accused of collaborating with some politicians to allegedly snatch electoral materials in Brass local government area of the Bayelsa.

The Youths of Twon Brass were sighted dragging the Deputy Commissioner on the road after the allegation while holding him hostage.

They said they want him to do the right thing by returning the election materials and collating the results at the local government level before taking it to the state INEC headquarters.
