@enaeni...I bought things here and there cos I couldn't see maternity clothes at first. At first I just bought the next size and then the next size after that as I got bigger. The good thing is that I can still manage those next sizes to work now but the outright Mat clothes are a No No! Why not ask in the other pregnancy thread?

I am reading backwards small small...but with work on one hand and baby for anoda, its going on at snail's pace.
Prepare for number 2?Na today? Where dh see chance come arrange sef? Between the fear wey dey catch me when I see twinkle for dh eyes and DS wey go decide to dey worry my life that night, cobwebs go soon grow for my womanliness. Me wey think say after one month I go dey ready for second round b4 road go close....Infact after I put to bed, people kept saying that I will be ready for number 2 in one month...LIES!!

Please I hope u are rehydrating urself as u r stooling? Pls cos its not a good idea to be weak so close to ur EDD. Biko!

Each tym u stool, drink water if u can. I stooled tho not as close to delivery as this but I went over 10times in one night and the Dr told me that drinking water all thru was the best tin I did.

@alwaystrue. Am so sorry pls. Infact am almost kneeling as am typing...lol

It was my bp that was rising first, den my DS started coming down with diff tins. At the end of the day, it was just devil trying to use my fears to worry the baby.

But the Lord has not given us the spirit of fear so that means the fear was of d devil.....it was as good as that I had allowed the devil to give me a gift....it wasn't till I rejected the spirit of fear and turned a blind eye to his antics dat deliverance came!

Its not been easy my dears....Dh actually ordered me to get off the Net cos den if I just see one symptom,na Dr. Google straight! And trust google to bring up ominous diagnosis to fuel the fear I was talking about. But after the victory over the spirit of fear, even if I google, na so so re-assurances I dey get.

@all pls no vex o! I know that the rocksqueen/prettymomma thingy did not sit well with some people and I apologize. Please it wasn't meant to offend, it was a measure taken out of desperation. How can a family member be criticizing a TTC method/decision that was told to no one else (not even to dh) except the sisters in the TTC thread? Any other person may have just left NL but I love this family too much to do dat. So I had to do what I did.

I love u all. I'll try and catch up with what has been happening but I pray that God will answer the prayers of everyone.

@my wonderful sisters. Thanks so much for lifting my spirit with ur humour and assurances. I needed dis seriously cos I was already scaring myself and even DH. When I first told him that the movements were not like usual, he said 'pls allow d baby to rest jo! Shebi u were complaining b4 that baby was kicking u lik a martial artist?' So I kept quiet.

My baby movements hav slowed down considerably....it gets me worried sumtimes cos I dunno what to think. It just slowed down one day after plenty of activities d day b4. And I recall dat I was so exhausted dat day dat I didn't know when I slept on my stomach. Now I feel mostly flutters or kicks inside my vag.ina

@favouredgirl...true it may not dislodge but if ladies who do ivf are asked by their Drs to observe pelvic rest why risk it?
Not that it will be fight o! Cos ovulation could be happening when one is supposed to be in 2ww cos without the follicle tracking, its hard to be very sure.
But if the person is scanning to pinpoint the exact ovulation date, den I would advise that after a few days of bding, pelvic rest should be observed.Violent org.asms can cause the walls of the uterus to contract and dat could dislodge an egg that is not fully implanted.

Though u are right that people bd and still get pregnant. Just my thots on it sha.

Dat means u can monitor ur ovulation with a good gynae and know the ryt time to dtd
I had an injection to release the egg during my monitoring.

Then after that, you may want to research the continuation of the pcos medication for the first trimester.
For instance, some doctors have discovered that using metformin during the first trimester helps prevent first trimester loss in patients with pcos.

@mamaT.Nice thread! I will stand in for some friends that are TTC too. Thank you so much for starting this thread. I will use myself as an example...prayers worked and God did it for me.

@all those who feel that the ladies here should go and get medical intervention rather than pray, pls visit the ttc thread and read from page 1! You will see that different couples are undergoing different treatments! Some have good doctors, some who have doctors that are not good enuf are advised to change their doctors! But at the end of the day, its the Lord that gives! This is the reason why all the knowledge and science in the world has not been able to force a fertilized egg to IMPLANT in the walls of the womb! The same reason why ivf does not guarantee that pregnancy will occur!

Please allow women to pray! When faced with all these challenges or unending treatments for what even the best doctors call 'unexplained fertility' worldwide, the next thing is to run back to our Maker to ask for His intervention. Cos the depression alone can drive one insane! So holding on to our faith is what keeps one going!

The period when a couple is trying to conceive is a very sensitive period that few would understand if they are not tryin or have not tried to conceive!At a point in my life,especially b4 marriage, I also didn't really understand the struggle and felt they were doing things wrongly! But my perception changed 3 months after my wedding...it is a trying and sensitive time!!

All am trying to say is that this thread is for women who have decided to go to Baba God by faith and beg for Him to either heal miraculously or cause the drugs/doctors' efforts to work!
So if you have any contrary advise for the ladies here, anything at all that might derail this thread, please feel free to go and post it in the TTC thread. Cos your advise though received with annoyance here might surely help someone there!
