sirjec: You are very right. If we want Power, what prevents us from establishing enough Power plant in Niger Delta where it will be close to the raw materials.
We want to share it to all regions even when we know it is waste of money. Nonesense.
We are not ready to solve power problem otherwise we will choose a state say Bonny Island where we have the gas and build all our power plants and link it to National grid.
Tribalism is why we are this backward. Nobody wants to reason well. Imagine a country going to site hydro plant in a desert, such is similar to building gas turbines in north and west where there is no gas (silly politics) and expect the plant to run (may be African Magic can happen) or rather than build a refinery in the east, they build a refinery in Kaduna, and run a pipe from the east all the way to Kaduna. Fooooolish! |

Instead of spending the money on state burial, why not give his widow and the kids the money. I am sure they will appreciate it more than a state burial. |

BABE!: See question--- I don't why I'm answering sef---
If you were a kid (in this age and time), and I asked you to choose between Playing Kinect (Xbox) OR flying a kite/running with tires(wtf)---which would you choose?
It's technology baby. Technology. Kids back in the day also had technology with which to play, but it still did not stop them from playing outside. Aside from laptops, there has really been no completely new technology, although the technology has improved. We had video games growing up, we had walkmans, etc. So the reason is that kids nowadays are just lazy. |
Romance › Can Money Buy Love? by Princek12(op): 12:38pm On Aug 11, 2011 |
You probably have heard repeatedly the cliche, "money can't buy love." However, a close examination of relationships, particularly marriages, provides reasons to conclude that money can actually buy love. If, for example, the guy used money to initially buy a girl who later falls in love with him, then it is reasonable to infer that money bought the love. Likewise, if the girl would never have loved the guy but for his money, then money probably bought the love. I personally think that you can use cash to buy just about anything, including love. What do you guys think? |

Lol @ tapping you to bring water. Does he have a potbelly too? Do you rub it hoping the water goes down well? I bet that he has a potbelly. That is just plain laziness. Nothing irritates me more than a lazy person, much less a lazy man. What next? He will ask her to put the cup in his mouth so he can gulp the water. |

WaltherPPK: You are very silly to call the man lazy, becos he asked his wife to get him water. You don't have any right to insult the lady because she runs errands for her husband. The woman said the truth about her husband not what most of most pple on this post are faking, and most african men actually expect their wives to wait on them, infact a man is supposed to be the master of his house and that includes his wife, it is part of our culture, that is why african marriages last more than what you have in other cultures, some men will not even take food from their wives unless the kneel to serve it, that does not take away the fact that a man should should not help out in household chores. you must be smoking Indian Hemp. What do you call a man who wakes his wife up during the night while she is asleep to go and get him drinking water? A heartless, lazy beast. I can understand if he asked her while she was awake, but to wake her up when she is asleep? You can at least respect the sanctity of sleep. Absent emergency reasons or waking her up to enter the punny or for anything the husband cannot do for himself, the man should not wake his wife up during the night while she was asleep. WHy can't he go get himself drinking water? If you want a wife, find you a wife; if you want a housegirl go and find you a housegirl. But to turn your own wife into a housegirl? Nah If that is African culture, I purge myself of that part of the culture. Nonsense! |

Sagamite: The test conducted by NFF?
The test that passed Okoro and Chukwudi?
I don't buy it for a second!
The evidence that Chukwudi was a human with age reversal capability discredited the whole thing. Looking at old face of Okoro that was claiming 15 despite having played 2 seasons in the NPL and being the highest goalscorer just made it a laughing stock.
The day I see players look like my age mate when I was at that age or look like the current young ones I know of that age, I would start supporting Nigeria.
I don't give a toss about individual cheating, I give a toss about sovereign cheating that is used as a motivation tool of a nation that most of the populace know their team is cheating. It teaches them that teaching is fine. No wonder we are a nation at moral conscience perdition. to the best of my knowledge, FIFA conducted the tests. Like I said, I do not support any form of cheating, whether sovereign of individual, but assuming they passed the FIFA tests, then I guess we just have to roll with that. But I hope that cheating stops anyway. |

Sagamite: That is the same face they had 2 years ago when they were claiming 15 in the U-17. Back then I thought they were early-mid 20s.
I looked at the team taken to Colombia and it had a decent contingent of these so-called 15 year olds, so to me, we are still cheating.
We just continue our shameless tactics of packing anyone with baby face or that is short and claiming that makes them 14. I can swear if Robinho was Nigerian, he would have only officially turned 19 this year.
Until we change, I only support Nigeria at SE or U-23 level. i don't support cheating, but I have no facts to conclude that our players are over 20. I do know that at the U-17 level all our players passed the X-ray or MRI scan test, which is the test to which the other players in the other teams are subject. It will be unfair to apply a double standard to our players. |

If cheating is the patriotism you want to support then you deserved your Al-Mustapha type leaders. Sagamite, based on their faces, I don't think our guys are over 20, though. I do think they look young. Azeez and Kayode particularly look young. |
