I got an offer from Macquarie university , Nsw Sydney ....

Heard someone say the school is not international student friendly and all that ...that I'll be stressed and frustrated there ....

Please I'd like to know if there's any truth in this or it's just an isolated view from a disgruntled fellow.Thanks

From my first day to this very point in time, I haven't experienced racism. I've heard people talk about it but I have not experience it.

There are times when my white friends show more concerns towards me than even my Naija friends.

I've been showed more love by people I don't even expect to receive love from.

If I'm to make a choice over again, I'll pick Australia gladly.

Could you please share why you are leaving Sydney? I am really interested.

I have the option of going to either Western Sydney Uni or a top Uni in Paris for my Msc. I have admissions in both schools and the program in Paris is less expensive.

My heart is leaning towards Paris cos its closer to home, in a better and central location and its my favourite city in the world. But I'm worried about the current situation in the EU, plus the prospect of getting a job after studies as well as integrating.

Australia holds better prospects for integrating, at least on paper, but the distance is a whole lot and I'm seriously wondering if their degrees are worth the heavy price tags. Cost of living in Sydney is also significantly higher. I cringe when I see the price of rentals there.

Please all the experienced gurus in the house, I need your informed advice. If you were in my shoes, would you choose France or Australia?




Frankly Sydney is Okay as per job wise and all but i am not enjoying it socially plus there is a racial undertone

Please run away from university of wollongong, please the town only sucks students dry, no jobs, no anything, please, their major income is students, please don't say I didn't warn you. And Nigerians here are very unhelpful. Please go to brisbane, sidney, malbourne, please , please

Make una do come join me, I arrived Sydney yesterday Australian night, this place fine no be small, I feel like am in heaven. I didn't bother using IOM, the stress was too much, so I used SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS, d fair was cheaper compared to Emirate and Etihad that were 380k ish, SAA was just 242k almost d same price IOM offered me, and d service was 1st class, I felt like VIP self, even if I no sabi as other airline dey, cos this is my 1st time leaving 9ja. So for those in abuja, SAA are doing promo, N242,000, IOM fair was similar with TAX included, and you don't have to stress your self heading to Lagos. For those expecting their grants, please be patient, God is at work.

Do you mind sharing the flight issues you have with the house? When is your orientation start date? When is your flight?

The lady said, apprentice isn't accredited in naija and my uncle spoilt the whole story by saying am being paid just because we make small daily change at the workshop..the amount varies even sumtimes u go with nothing... Which way forward... MSC PROJECT MANAGEMENT
