BusinessRe: Banks To Close Branches As Recession Bites Hard by proeast(m): 11:44am On Sep 20, 2016
AZeD1:
The banks don't need government. They need to do real banking, support small scale industries with cheap loans.

They had free government money for years and rather than help small scale industries, they were using the money to buy government bonds hence the large profits they were earning.

It's time for them to work for there money.
Are you one of the zombies APC unleashed on nairalandhuh? what the hell are you talking about, do you even know that Nigeria is largely under banked per capitahuh Your first paragraph is disgusting to sane minds!!!! Fyi, even the SME's are closing in drooves not because of lack of funding by banks but simply due to very harsh operating environment brought about by government policies, lack of basic infrastructure like electricity, good roads, affordable fuel etc. Tell me a single plan of action Buhari is taking to revolutionize agriculture, industries or infrasturehuh Buhari is as confused as those almajiris in the streets of Kano

Wtfhuh Now I agree with pundits that said that we are still in the "morning" phase of the reccession cum suffering!! Depressing news keeps making headlines like tommorrow no dey!!! I am bewildered that despite the alarming rate/level of unemployment ab initio, the few that are gainfully employed are being sacked at the drop of a hat!!! I think apocalypse, armaggedon and hell is about to be unleashed on Nigeria!! With each passing day, I keep wondering if I'm not making a mistake in staying put instead of heading for the US while at the same time feeling trapped & waiting for an impeding doom. God help me!!!!!
CareerRe: What A Nigerian Living Abroad Tweeted That Has Set Twitter Nigeria On Fire by proeast(m): 11:11am On Sep 20, 2016
Rubyventures:
Living abroad does not make you leadership material it depends on the person. e.g Ibori lived and worked in the UK before going back to Nigeria to raid the government treasury.

Also there is nothing wrong with working in a restaurant, many students in the developed world do this, irrespective of the status of their parents. It is only in Nigeria that you see a 25 year old who has not done a days job all his life and still collecting pocket money from his mummy and heckling friends and relations for money. No job is beneath anyone as long as it can pay the bills. Unfortunately Nigerians see things differently, everyone wants a job where they will wear a suit and tie and sit in an air-conditioned office.

There are not many leadership material in Nigeria most of those in power are out for what they can get, those in power who want to help the country are frustrated at theirs jobs. The way I see it there is no way forward. The wheel keeps revolving.
FACT!!!!

Bast.ard
Dangote is a very selfish, avaricious and gluttonious shylock. Since he lost money due to the crash of the naira, he has been looking for any means possible wether by hook or crook to fleece Nigeria. If giving the opportunity, this shylock will just buy the whole country through waivers, monopoly, manipulation, tax evasion etc. Just imagine his disgusting effrontery. !DIAT!!!!!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigeria – Inflation Rate “improves” To 17.6%. by proeast(m): 12:36pm On Sep 17, 2016
Inflation(cost of goods) is galloping away(spiking) while income is drastically reducing. This is absolutely scary and should give those in authority and the masses as well, sleepless nights because if the trend continues, we will surely sink into depression and for a country that imports almost everything, this could lead to mass starvation, quarshiokor and marasmus!! I am not a prophet of doom but just being realistic. A law should be passed immediately making it a crime for people to have more than 3 kids!! If the status quo remains, there is going to be unprecedented crises and doom that might require global intervention through food aid.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Most Of Hausa People Do Gateman, sell Suya, sell Wristwatch And Shoemaker?? by proeast(m): 12:18pm On Sep 17, 2016
lukasmuyiwa:
I've always wonder why only hausas sell things like suya, do gateman for person house, mostly deals in gold, sell wristwatches, carrots, and slaughter ram for those who don't have hearts of killing and also if you want to sell gold people will refer you to saabo (a place in Ibadan where the Hausas base) and also they helps in parking soak aways..they sometimes cut nails and also sell sugarcane in wheelbarrow.. just imaging why them ehnhuh?
Below are the reasons (1) They are mostly illiterates. (2) They lack exposure and have a funny accent. (3) They lack capital & skills to do more tasking jobs. (4) They are laid-back and unambitious. (5) Religion & culture made them believe that riches and wealth are predestined by supernatural powers, so no need to stress themselves unneccessarily etc

PropertiesRe: How Much To Build A Hotel In Nigeria (lagos, Anambara, Owerri) by proeast(m): 9:25am On Sep 16, 2016
Doug07034780891:
You Imolites are bunch of hopeless people. I am even wondering why the OP touched Owerri or Imo state for that matter because any hotel sited there will only be invaded by prostitutes as the state's economic mainstay is prostitution and chalet.

There is equally security challenges in Imo state. These official reports below proves that much. There is militancy and herdsmen attacks in the state too. Imo state is a no go area for any form of investment that's why even Imolites rather invest outside than in their state.

Op, focus on Anambra, Enugu, Lagos and any other SE state for genuine and quick income coupled with security guarantee.
I dont think you are alright & that is putting it mildly! Bro, ignorance is not bliss & half education is worse than illiteracy. Talking about ROI, op your best bet is Owerri, Lagos & Enugu. Anambra is out of the equation except you want to invest based on emotion & sentiment but that is not good for business!!

I have a friend who wants to venture into hotel and tourism management so he's making inquiries about these things

- a good place where he can get a good piece of land
- like how many square meters (size of the land)
- price range to expect when making purchases for the piece of land.
- he wants to have a hotel of say 40 - 45 rooms.

Now he's asking the total cost (land + construction + expenses to be made)

Estimates, like how much could he be letting down for this kind of project.
Owerri, the Las Vegas of Nigeria is your best option, despite the reccession and hundreds of hotels in the city, they are mostly fully booked on weekends. If you need a suitable location/land, you can contact us at Galaxy Properties, 134 Douglas road, Opp Sunic Fastfood or call 08068198016.

Ewo! Who taught this daftus that phrase 'outside the box'? Is this d latest one his media team has taught him? Does he understand what it means and entails? Can he walk d talk? Is he even equipped to walk that talk with his narrow outlook and tunnel vision?
Dont mind the dullard, let him keep saying things he does not even understand its meaning. This man still maintains 12 presidential jets, a large retinue of useless aides, a humogous salary, billions of naira just for feeding, he refused to declare his assets despite promising to do so during campaign, he has refused to sack & probe his corrupt allies, he has continued to revel in nepotism, a bigot etc yet he had the effrontery to tell the suffering masses that change begins with them! What a very wicked and selfish sadist!! This man will not excape the wrath of karma. Abacha thought he could do whatever he wanted but karma delt with him!!! Ya jukwaa ese!!!!!

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Unity Is Non-negotiable, Says Tambuwal; Rejects Restructuring by proeast(m): 4:17pm On Sep 15, 2016
attackgat:
You have come too far? Who are you decieving with that? If Scotland which was a part of Britain for 350 years could negotiate a referendum in 2014 where they almost left Britain, then how far do you think you have gone? 102 years? Don't make me laugh. If Britain that created Nigeria could allow Scotland the choice of staying or going, then Nigerias unity is not only negotiable, it must be negotiated!

It is quite insulting that a Hausa man will be telling an Igbo whom he has no historical connection with that they must be together. I laugh in Igbo
One thing is certain, Nigeria cannot continue like this. Something will definitly give, its either resource control or total break up, the cracks on the wall of Nigeria keeps widening with each passing day and will end in collapse or restructuring.

Pdp have challenged bubu t o return the economy to it's original image since he can't add any value.
The economy was sustainable during the 16years of shamless PDP as compared to total Collapse of APC
APC is a diabolical party. These vagabonds keeps feeding the zombies with lies and propaganda while trying to hide their glaring incompetence under the cloak of blame games & buck passing. Thank God that hunger is no respecter of party affiliation, the mass suffering & gnashing of teeth is fast restoring the brain of the zombies and some of them are waking up to the tragidy & havoc of what APC is doing to Nigeria. These !diots in government have absolutely no plan, they are just as confused & hapless as the almajiris on the streets of Kano!! I am happy that time is fast going while they have nothing to show except mass frustration!!! At the appointed time, they will be asked to give a steward of the four years they ruled & POSTERITY will be the judge.
