Wtf Now I agree with pundits that said that we are still in the "morning" phase of the reccession cum suffering!! Depressing news keeps making headlines like tommorrow no dey!!! I am bewildered that despite the alarming rate/level of unemployment ab initio, the few that are gainfully employed are being sacked at the drop of a hat!!! Also there is nothing wrong with working in a restaurant, many students in the developed world do this, irrespective of the status of their parents. It is only in Nigeria that you see a 25 year old who has not done a days job all his life and still collecting pocket money from his mummy and heckling friends and relations for money. No job is beneath anyone as long as it can pay the bills. Inflation(cost of goods) is galloping away(spiking) while income is drastically reducing. This is absolutely scary and should give those in authority and the masses as well, sleepless nights because if the trend continues, we will surely sink into depression and for a country that imports almost everything, this could lead to mass starvation, quarshiokor and marasmus!! I am not a prophet of doom but just being realistic. A law should be passed immediately making it a crime for people to have more than 3 kids!! If the status quo remains, there is going to be unprecedented crises and doom that might require global intervention through food aid.
