The Gov forgot to mention the Ala to Omu Ijebu dual carriage concrete based road in Odogbolu local council that dangote is constructing currently.

As for former gov Ibikunle Amosun, it's only God that can forgive him.
So DANGOTE is working there as well. Where is Abiodun now spending our money?

AMOSUN! AMOSUN AMOSUN AMOSUN AMOSUN AMOSUN. I think AMOSUN and OBASANJO must come from the same Egba sub tribal group called OWU . OBASANJO frustrated the expansion of Lagos Free Trade Zone and others in South West. We have heard stories of how DANGOTE Refinery was frustrated out of Ogun State by AMOSUN, demolition of Cement plant, wrongful termination of Chinese Consortium Contract leading to confiscations on Nigeria assets, the Pat Utomi saga, etc.

Please, is AMOSUN also an OWU man just like OBASANJO?

If that Refinery had been constructed at Olokola, that Seaport would have been constructed or under construction by now.

Aliko Dangote is a true Nigerian patriot.

His investments across the country and his commitment to self-sufficiency in key commodities are commendable.
As I always tell people, if we have two DANGOTE in Nigeria, Africa would have developed more than it is. I am not sure it is possible to have two DANGOTE presently, maybe in the next 50 years.

This is a good development.

The government should keep the momentum going.
I am very happy the projects are given to Chaugory group. Very happy. They will deliver on what they promised to do. If they failed to deliver (not possible) they are on ground for remedial / maintenance activities because they are partners, they are stakeholders in the project. Nobody wants his father's house to collapse except a bastard .

From National Assembly complex, Murtala Muhammed Airport road reconstruction, concrete road construction along Gbagada/Oshodi/Apapa Expressway, ATLANTIC CITY Infrastructure, and several projects too numerous to mention, they will perform. Congratulations to Apapa and Tincan ports.

The last renovation of 3rd Mainland Bridge by Chinese Construction company last year and the Gbagada Oshodi Apapa Expressway CONCRETE road constructed by HITECH few years ago , despite high volume vehicular movements have proven that delivery is of utmost importance.

Complainants have no stake in whatever would benefit Lagos development. They only see Lagos as Cash Cow.

Lagos can put a stop to this influx of outsiders by undoing the seaport marginalisation.

Ask FG to open Port Harcourt and Warri sea ports which has same capacity as that if Lagos and had Ben functioning before.

Then Lagos will no longer have the kind of population it has from outsiders
What stops Jonathan from doing that? Most of you don't know anything about Shipping.

Absolute nonsensical rebuttal by the Lagos government! Lagos should use part of its famed 295 billion dollars GDP to build a global class sewage treatment plant.........So far Lagos state is part of Nigeria.....any Nigerian from outside Lagos or every anambra indigene has the right to relocate to Lagos or elsewhere! If you are tired of the Lugardian Union ..tell us, make we call it a day! Lagos smells and stinks ...do something about it!
Thanks for your comment. This is the reason people should not complain whenever there is demolition for the development of the city's Master plan.

Toyota (Matori), Mile2 to Okokomaiko, Okota to Ikotun are the next on line. Lagos is a low land and almost at sea level in most of the places. Also, most of the land were initially
swampy.

All the efforts made by previous government have been hindered with foul shouts of marginalization. This lady has just helped the government to fast track their sewage management system. No cry of marginalization during demolition would be entertained.

On thousands of buses entering Lagos daily and those leaving creating population explosion, as time goes on, there would be solution. People cannot just be migrating to Lagos anyhow. This is the reason El Rufai as FCT Minister destroyed squatters camp.

The above statement aptly describes economic migrants from unproductive land.
That is what they are. Their brothers in South Africa will take pictures of Obalende canal, slums at Ebute metra and Makoko and post them on Social Media to spoil Lagos. They came to Lagos with nothing and the land yielded her milk and they became rich, yet, they speak evil of the city. It is not good.

Daily, thousands of buses from all over Nigeria and some African countries enter Lagos while others are living, the waste management system put in place can never be adequate, yet, people are not observing waste management rules.

They are online miscreants and nonentities, it is better you ignore him. Since 2021, in about four African countries, female Parliament member have been sent out of Parliament during plenary over improper dressing and violation of dress codes. Those female Parliament members should also approach IPU no matter how late the event took place to report their country Parliament.

I don't blame her. I know she is very pretty and her beauty has brought her fame and connections to people in power and the big boys in Oil business. As a man I know my strength and weakness. Considering myself, I would have been as guilty as proclaimed. I thank the Distinguished Senators and Honourable members of the House of Representatives for their courage to support the Senate President because the Integrity of the Institution must be protected.

Senator Ireti Kingibe brought out an issue which some people already know. She said she enjoyed more privileges than all the other female Senators. WHY? She accompanied the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, to the 148th IPU General Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland in March, 2024 as part of Nigeria’s official delegation. She sat beside the Senate President. That is why I said if it were me, I would have been as guilty as pronounced. By reason of that attendance she is on the mailing list and an active Nigeria's contact person at the IPU because the SP would have assigned that role to her. She used that opportunity to register for the IPU as Nigeria's delegate without being sent by the National Assembly.

I remember Local Content deal at NNPC during Diezani Madueke's tenure as Minister when Ernest Nwapa was the Head of Local Content at NNPC. Senator Karimi's reason is not good enough. We need to check and compare all the privileges enjoyed by other female Senators to real know what is happening.

It's all propaganda. Niger had a refinery which can serve Nigeria as a whole. We used to import cooking gas from them before ecowas sanctioned them and cooking gas in Nigeria became so expensive
It is very disappointing when about two individuals you considered as being exposed and polished on nairaland are usually not different from street boys on internet. This is the third time.

Firstly, the news of fuel shortage in Niger Republic is not a secret information because it has been on major International News media for almost a week. This is not a Twitter information, all major news International media have reported it.

Secondly, some of us have visited Sahel countries and have people on diplomatic and Intelligence missions in some of those countries. Thirdly, Zoraz refinery in Zinder is the only one in the country. The output has never met local demand because it is a small refinery and the investors must make money.
The local demand in Niger Republic is largely dependent on the flourishing black market supplied from Nigeria. The fuel that came into Niger illegally from Nigeria represented up to about 50% of the market. Subsidy removal and control have created serious bottleneck for them since 2023.

So, at the optimum, it is the 20,000 barrel per day of the Niger Republic Refinery that made you a self acclaimed International businessman to say Niger Republic have fuel that can meet the local demand of Nigeria while they are currently undergoing fuel crisis in their regions for weeks which has now entered Niamey.

I don't blame you. If the FG wants to take action, their brothers in Nigeria will force Nigeria to support them.
Politics › Re: Niger Begs Nigeria For Fuel Amid Severe Shortages by professorPABX:
Eriokanmi:
Stop spreading propaganda. I go to Niger all the time. They too import petrol from the same place we go to buy,for their people to meet unforseen shortages. They have tank farms where they store petrol for contingencies. What's their population that their local refineriy can't serve or meet the local needs? I have an associate there too. I don't have to say everything here.Where do you think they sell the petrol from their refinery to...Nigeria? Are you even aware their currency is stronger than ours? Check out the cefa exchange rate as of today. I prefer to keep cefa to stockpiling the naira. The Soraz refinery is undergoing some maintenance hence the reason for the perceived recent shortage and not mainly due to stoppage of smuggling. France is not happy they broke away so, anything to diminish Niger won't be far from them. They're importing as we speak to address the short term shortage,.like every other nation Including Nigeria does thru NNPCL

If all I said about the cooking gas and onions that Niger used to import to Nigeria was fake, why not at least check Google? The information is free. They came to Nigeria recently to meet our government over insecurity which they traced its source to Nigeria. Who doesn't know Nigeria has been battling terrorism for over a decade now? Maybe you're living in the moon to know this. Their base is in Nigeria so, they came to seek how to prevent them from infiltrating their country.

Like I said in the previous message. The news source was from twitter now called x. Twitter is a public place where anyone can post nonsense and that doesn't make it legit. Shebi those you're following once told you that petrol scarcity in Nigeria was due to smuggling across border and you swallowed it hook line and sinker. I visit cotonou often due to the nature of my work and I've never seen a single petrol tanker on the way since 2014 that I've been visiting. Customs and immigration posts before the border are over 20. Where will fuel tankers pass? Even in the bushes, they're there. They used to buy from us before Buhari came but they later stopped. Those who didn't want to pay export duties too used to smuggle. All that stopped after border was closed.

Stop being deceived. Benin republic goes to same place where we buy petrol abroad and sell to their people. Since subsidy had been removed, why is NNPCL still importing despite dangote's commitment to meeting local needs as seen? What are the marketers still importing when dangote petrol is way cheaper, those who are now declaring billions in losses? Who will clear the mess? Everything time I call you guys illiterate, you always kick. Isn't this one of the proofs? While the border against Benin was shut for years, they kept waxing srong economically while we're the worst hit. Their currency kept waking stronger. They never came to beg rather na we dey smuggle from them and Niger. Enough said.
I don't believe you wrote these junks. From your antecedents, it is true you wrote them. You believe scarcity of petroleum in Niger Republic is propaganda, even apart of International News media, at Alaba Rago it is no news, their people know.

What is the essence of these junks? You said Niger Republic produces petrol (PMS) that can meet Nigeria local demand and that before border closure they supply Nigeria LPG. I have been advised to ignore you as answering you would reveal many things that are classified. Is it reminding you that Zoraz refinery is a 20,000 barrel at optimum which cannot meet local demand that made you wrote these junks. Are you providing pipelines and funding to move petroleum products from Lome port to Niamey? Just because of the reality of pms scarcity in Niger Republic which was on CNN, Al Jazeera, AFP and others which is also known at Alaba Rago and Kara markets that is why you wrote junks about how NNPC and marketers in Nigeria import Petrol in a deregulated market economy.

Well, an uncivilized, crude ONITSHA main market and Alaba trader travelling for importation can also say something from his traveling. It is all exposure and experience. We are talking about Petrol scarcity in Niger Republic you are talking about situation at Seme Border between Lagos and Benin Republic since Buhari era. What brought that here? Have you forgotten that period of stiff border closure between Lagos and Benin Republic, estimated 50% of petroleum products in Niger Republic is smuggled from Nigeria and sold in Black market. This is despite their Zoraz refinery.

Your personality is now fully known. I mistook you for another person. Thanks. All those nonsense you are writing is for your people.

Niger Republic is begging Nigeria for assistance on Fuel, you said it is a propaganda. Most of you with fake identity on Social Media are fake people in real life.

For reference purposes, I will repost my responses to your falsehood again.

OBASANJO is not ashamed of himself. A placeholder President both as Military Head of State and as a civilian president. The IBB Book revealed a lot of things we never knew. Thank God IBB wrote that book. I had vowed not to read that book until a friend of mine drew our attention to a salient, very hidden revelation about indirect rule and policy of assimilation of Obasanjo personality and presidency.

Ota bridge was abandoned in 2006 and converted to a wastes dump site an eyesore. The whole place was like jungle.

In 2022 we lost a personal friend. Some members of friends including a one star person (presently a two star person) came from Abuja to Lagos. On our way to Agbado Railway crossing, it was chaotic, traumatic, and very stressful. I sat at the front while the one star person was driving. Because of that road, the issue of OBASANJO came up. OBASANJO, Obasanjo. Even the Bridge, in 2008 to prevent epidemic, Dimeji Bankole (Speaker, HoR) had to beg Julius Berger to complete the Bridge only. The road was abandoned.

OBASANJO, during Tinubu government called Lagos a JUNGLE. You know, only Animals live in jungle. He frustrated all the efforts to prevent Victoria Island from being submerged by Atlantic Ocean until the Ocean entered main road.

OBASANJO is not happy about Atlantic City. OBASANJO will always be in opposition to Tinubu. He has opposed Tinubu seven times, each time he failed.

In as much as Tinubu frustrated the Federal Secretariat Building in Lagos sold under OBASANJO government from being taken over by the purported buyer or front, no objective analysis can ever come out of OBASANJO on Tinubu.

Needless to say, it left a bitter taste in the mouth of all Northerners and supporters of Elrufai most of whom voted for Tinubu because of Elrufai.
Nobody knows what happened. As I said, Oga Nasir was the meeting point of different power, political, economic and pressure groups in the North. In the North, among those groups, some people hate him, they said he is too critical. I think that is because of his high Intellect and he is against easy government money without hard work. I have discussed with some people in Portharcourt last week that it is quite unusual for Atedo Peterside not to have antagonized Akpabio over the the lady at the National Assembly.

Last year March 2024, because of jovial statement made by Akpabio in Rivers State during Herbert Wigwe's burial, Atedo Peterside created news headlines against the comments. I cited two earlier instances. My guys in Portharcourt said it was coincidental. I told them I am waiting for his comment on NASS issue.

In 2027, he is not too old to contest for Senate and work his way to Senate Presidency.

SNAKE. Of what value? Nothing to add to APC and nothing to add to SDP. Valueless. Worthless. Seeking for attention and survival.

1 X 0 = 0. 100 X 0 = 0. He wants to join the northern caucus for future survival.

Ekiti is a rural State they can give him money to capture the State but who will listen to him?
