CaptainGo:Have you met Gbemi Saraki in person before? Beauty and intellect is another thing entirely. Decency and integrity matters a lot. The difference is very clear. If your requirement to get favour is your beauty you will definitely market yourself with the beauty to get the favour. I know of very pretty women that you cannot find at the corridor of power or oil and gas environment using beauty to seek for fame and wealth. Even as a man you are intimidated by their morals that it takes great courage and strength to approach them. In the Military era I have seen and met a lot of ladies with beauty at corridors of power and in Oil business circle seeking for fame and wealth and they are young. You will see them at Presidential Banquet organized by the President . You will see them at Cocktail party and Banquet organized by Ambassadors and Diplomatic missions in Nigeria. You find them at restricted parties organized by NNPC. They are not PA or SA to President at that young age but at Presidential Banquet, what are they doing at that parties and Banquet? To market themselves and create contacts and have good time with high and mighty in the society. Men must be attracted to beautiful ladies naturally, all ladies know this. You cannot display goods in market and complain that people are patronizing you . I remembered in those days, there are ladies I know very well that I have come across in High Society parties and I rarely have opportunity to attend such parties and they are young ladies, I will be wondering how are they positioned to always get invited to such parties. |
Btruth:Her profile on Wikipedia was updated about 10 hours ago. |
Stanbaba30:You are not using common sense. The man wasn't her husband when the long controversy which became a legal case happened and finally got what she wanted, so, they are all the same. You cannot tell me they are not responsible with the exception of the man boxed to a corner to accept her wish . There is a parable in our place that when a person is crying he is seeing. Crying doesn't blind someone from seeing. |
Celestialsword:This man is not the Emmanuel Uduaghan the former governor. This is an entirely different man. |
Stanbaba30:Another observation, why is she a subject of controversy - there was this long controversy which became a legal case with the present man that finally accepted her condition and now her husband, there was the Reno OMOKRI accusations, the battle with Yahaya Bello to get to Senate and now this Senate President case . |
nwirinedu:This picture you posted was taken at an International Conference outside Nigeria. I know you are passing message across to Nigerians indirectly. That picture buttressed one of the points raised by Senator Ireti Kingibe. This picture reminded me of an event that took place at the biggest computer company that time in Computer Village, Ikeja. The company was invited to attend an International IT event in USA. There is a married lady that joined the company few months before that time and the lady was married to a rich person but most staff know she can play games in addition to her marriage. Very glamorous and highly mobile lady. The Chairman nominated the lady to attend the conference in USA together with himself. The ladies in the company suspected something. They notified some management staff. Now, the Chairman's wife is a personal friend to the wife of one of the management staff. The management staff informed his wife. His wife informed the Chairman's wife. Few days to the lady and the Chairman leaving Nigeria for the conference, the Chairman's wife diplomatically insisted on attending the conference together with them. Also, another woman who owns a prominent firm in computer village that time and a personal friend to the Chairman's wife got to know what is happening she now registered for the conference in USA not minding the cost just to support her friend. All of them now travelled to USA for the event. That was how they monitored Chairman and that lady throughout the event. |
seunmsg:I reserve my comments. This is despite the fact that I fully supported the Senate Presidency being zoned to South South (Calabar / AkwaIbom) even before Tinubu was sworn in as President, I cannot deny the fact that Natasha Akpoti is an epitome of beauty. As a man I don't know Akpabio personally. In the political circle and in the Oil business circle and in those days during the military government, you find beautiful ladies at the officers mess and government houses and hotels. Some of those beautiful ladies have married thrice or four or five times. Those military officers don't take the marriage of those beautiful ladies serious and even the husband or manfriend of those ladies use them as baits to enter corridor of power to win big contracts. The same happens in Oil circle where crude oil business deals and other frameworks contracts deals take place. Those beautiful ladies are there . As a man, when you have MONEY and POWER, you must be disciplined and be very sensitive about women. Otherwise, beautiful ladies will trap you. In the Bible, David as a teenager was mostly motivated by the prize of giving King's daughter as a wife to whoever defeated Goliath. Princesses are always beautiful. This is just one of the benefits announced by King Saul but to David that was the best prize. Most Bible scholars didn't notice this. David loved women. If you come to King David's Palace with a beautiful lady to seek for King's favour, you will get it. The Israelites refused to believe David had died until a young lady was made to arouse him and nothing happened. I pray that Senator Akpabio will finally be exonerated. Finally, as President and Governor, you must be very careful of any beautiful lady / woman forwarded by constituency as Minister or Commissioner or DG. Their constituency and politicians (opposition) and contractors may use them as bait or trap. |
Suncheks:The High Chief submitted to the other option. |
Bobloco:I also reserved my comments. jaxxy:Where is the copy of the letter of resignation and defection letter sent to PDP? Remember, they belonged to Wike's faction of the PDP, they are not in Atiku's faction. Wike's faction of the PDP have not received any letter and Rivers State APC have not received any application letter to join APC. |
jaxxy:Please, paste the link where each of the members wrote letter to the State Chairman through their wards Chairmen. Defection of a representative is an individual task and not collective. I want to see the link to the letter. 2. The Application letter to join APC and the Application Form each of them filled. Please, I am waiting. |
jaxxy:Wike is not in PDP but his faction organized South South Congress some days ago and they controlled over 50% of South South PDP. If each of them tendered letter of resignation from PDP publicly through their Ward Chairmen the letters would be tendered in Court by the PDP State Chairman , Otherwise, Fubara would be fined for misleading the Court. |
jaxxy:You have evidence they tendered letter of resignation to PDP State Chairman through each of their Ward chairman? Is Wike no longer in PDP? |
Edoreborn:I am just hearing that Reno OMOKRI was also accused of making advances to her at a function during Jonathan regime. She must be sensitive to her beauty . Refusal of advances is not an excuse to disrespect the man and the institution he represents. That is too childish. It is only little babes that behave that way for people to know the man has made advances to her or to show people they are bedmate. |
phantom:The question is this; have they crossed into APC? Only their wards leader can confirm at Ward level. APC State Chairman said they are not in APC. APC Ward Chairmen said they don't know them and they are not in their registers. Now, in PDP faction where Wike held South South Congress meeting some days ago, they are well known up to Ward level. Attendance of Social Function organized by APC is not a welcome party. They must fill membership form, they must submit letter of resignation to PDP State Headquarters through their Ward Chairmen. This haven't been done. Their Lawyers should note the above requirements of cross-carpeting into another party under the modern democracy. Another requirement is to write to Clerk and Speaker and notify them of moving into another party, speaker will now announce it on the floor of the house during plenary. These have not been done. Again, Supreme Court judgement is the last judgement. They shouldn't trigger chain reaction in National Assembly where many legislators have already decamped. |
Creedng:I agreed with you. Until the Supreme Court of IBO speaks, the Supreme Court of Nigeria has not spoken. |
SoftSport:Your point is understood but let us leave it that way. |
SoftSport:I am too matured and exposed to answer you on RENO OMOKRI visit otherwise, I would be wasting my time. Yes you are right about financial muscle. I didn't see refinery expertise. I said coincidentally RENO OMOKRI was at Trinidad and Tobago. The person I replied said $1.5 billion PhillipsConoco acquisition in Nigeria shouldn't have been the only consideration. A parallel event that is coincidental has nothing to do with an event started almost a year that is not related with it. |
SoftSport:It was a bid. Oando was the preferred bidder. Coincidentally, RENO OMOKRI was in Trinidad and Tobago few days ago. He visited YORUBA VILLAGE and the LUCUMI (LUKUMI) people of Trinidad and Tobago. These are YORUBA people whose ancestors were migrated there during slave trade. |
idanone:Senator Daisy Danjuma the Chairman of May & Baker PLC was once at the Senate Chamber. Senator Oluremi Tinubu was once at the Chamber. They are women of substance. Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Aisha Binani) was also at the Senate before she was robbed of the gubernatorial election in Adamawa. She is a woman of class and integrity. In Abuja in the corridor of power and in Portharcourt in oil companies big boys fold I have seen beautiful women hustling for easy big wealth and fame, some made the wealth , some got the fame while some got both wealth and fame but all of them lack decency and integrity. |
Christistruth02:The woman knows much. Obasanjo also contributed to save him. |
PressMyButton:It is better to ignore them. Tinubu came to power and met $27 billion in reserve out which a little less than $7 billion is accessible with large forex backlog to settle for multinational and transnational companies and airlines. There was domestic financial crisis of new naira currency and cashless transaction where cash is being sold by POS operators at 5K cash for 8K transfer (it varies). To worsen the matter, there is DEBT Servicing commitments on the ground. They are confused that is why they don't understand what is happening. When Obasanjo came he met $5.5 billion in reserve. Our needs were extremely low as we were coming from military and democracy struggle. When things started to pick they said it was a Voodoo Democracy and that subsequent government cannot sustain it. Truly, they didn't sustain the tempo. They cannot sustain the tempo. It is not because it is a VOODOO Democracy but because it is not in their characters, it is not their system. |
RealLordZeus:Yes. I believed. OBASANJO is a very weak person. BABANGIDA's book exposed the reason behind Obasanjo's weakness. OBASANJO only had delegated powers as Military Head of State and he served that purpose very well. It was on that basis he was brought out again in 1999. I can now see the reason a retired Colonel in Kaduna rubished him and Atiku harassed him. It was a Delegated power. Now, the preamble above is just to give an insight into the power issue. Oga Nasir would have performed better than Adelabu in Nigerian terrains. Oga Nasir El Rufai and Adelabu are both FIRST CLASS Graduates. I know Oga Nasir very well before Nigerians got to know him. I have known him since 90s when he was in his thirties during ABACHA regime and running GAMJI Forum from Imani Estate, Abuja. He was a radical and anti ABACHA activist. Immediately Abdulsalam became Head of State after ABACHA death he was appointed an Adviser to the President ( member, Presidential Advisory Council) that was 1998. He should be around 36 or 37 years. He was the most prominent member of the Presidential Advisory Council. I will stop here. Nigeria is a country of mafia. The South West is very disorganized . It is very painful to me. Coming to power issue. OBASANJO appointed Bola Ige as the Minister of Power in 1999. There was National Grid collapsed severally and continuously . It got to a level Afenifere under baba Adesanya leadership and other Yoruba elders pleaded for Bola Ige to resign and return home. To prevent Bola Ige from resignation, Obasanjo changed his portfolio to Minister of Justice. ADELABU is very intelligent. There are power infrastructure dilapidation and inadequacies . He is trying. Power is improving tremendously. If there are mafia sabotaging the power sector, he cannot conveniently overcome them the way Nasir El Rufai would have tackled them. El Rufai is a result oriented person. He delivers even when faced with very difficult challenges. Above all, he has been at the corridor of power for a very long time. The mafias, the cabals he know them. |
Tranquillity360:IBO, this is the reason I always advise our Yoruba people that are supporting your cause to be very careful because they are supporting ungrateful people. If I hadn't attended University in IBO land several years ago I wouldn't have known this. Brigadier Samuel ADEMULEGUN was the Commander of FIRST DIVISION of the Nigerian Army in 1966. He was assassinated in January 1966 Coup. IBO had BRIGADIER in the Nigerian Army, he escaped only Yoruba and Hausa BRIGADIERS were assassinated. Those who killed AGUIYI IRONSI in retaliation and the soldiers at Ibadan government house and those soldiers at the FIRST DIVISION that were around gave a real life scenario of what happened. I only pitied those Yorubas that are supporting your cause they are going to be the first casualties if any uprising break out in South West. |
franchasng:You mentioned ADEMULEGUN. ADEMULEGUN was a Brigadier. Samuel Ademulegun was commander of the 1st Brigade during the January 1966 coup. He was killed. He was assassinated. May his soul rest in peace. I got several strange calls with strange numbers yesterday. Armoury was not opened according to what a fool said when all their brothers escaped but ammunition was available when Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Maimalari were killed. |
richie240:He doesn't even have anything to do with the coup. In an operation there are objectives. In the process of executing an operation there may be casualties on both sides, they are just casualties. In this case, it was even a fabrication. The other fool was asking me to mention one successful coup in Nigeria without taking over of the Armoury. Which of the Armoury? That shows how shallow they are. Another fool asked me if I should accept the reports of TY Danjuma and Gowon and some late officers at the Frontline I should also accept the report of IBB. My question is how old was IBB? Was he at the Frontline? What was his appointment at that time? |
OkCornel:You are just talking nonsense online. I was advised to ignore you and your brothers that was why I restricted myself. Joe Garba and some officers at the front line are late now but we still have TY Danjuma one of the main man at front line and chief actor in the counter coup. Gowon came back from abroad few days to the coup and was in Lagos. On several sidelines Gowon and TY Danjuma have given some accounts. We have the privilege of hearing from some key actors when they were alive and some that are still alive. You don't know anything about military operations and coups. General TY Danjuma told Aguiyi Ironsi wife few years ago he had no regret for the counter coup. His report is the best report on what happened in both coups. You allowed the key people in your tribe to escape and executed the key people occupying sensitive position in other tribes. I can bet with anything till date, if you plan to kill an Hausa big trader in computer village, a Yoruba big trader in Computer Village and an IBO big trader in Computer Village on Sunday midnight against Monday morning, before this evening, the IBO big trader would have escaped while the Hausa and the Yoruba would have been eliminated. That is the state till today. You wanted to eliminate others and keep your brothers. Nothing has changed. There was coup earlier in Ghana it was purely military operations. I will not answer you again as earlier advised. |
OkCornel:You are just confusing yourself. I read Why we struck as a young man over two decades ago in addition to several military books on West Africa as a deep study. I also listened to those in active service at that time and those at the front line. I don't want to go further. All those imaginary names generated as after thoughts years later are just to soothe nerves. You said coup Flop in Lagos because OiC Armoury did not release key. Do they need to collect key from Armoury to execute Action in Kaduna and Ibadan? What happened at Enugu? That imaginary name was not OiC Armoury or Battalion Commander of the Armour Corps . All the people they planned to execute were executed while those who got the Coup information beforehand escaped. |
OkCornel:Which history Archives? Which Armoury? Was that the reason Aguiyi Ironsi escaped execution in the first coup and the Eastern Region Premier escaped? All these are fallacy. Even in the Armour Corps as at that time you can never find such name. For your information those planning coup does not need keep from Duty Officer to gain entry or have access to weapons. Nzeogu did not require access to Armoury in Kaduna. I don't have your time. Which military archives are you talking about? Which Lagos coup Flop? You want to tell me that was why Aguiyi Ironsi was not killed in the first coup? What about the Eastern Region? I have more information than you will ever access. It was subject on its own for us decades ago. |
OkCornel:Who was Arthur Unegbe in the Nigerian Army as at that time? Which Brigade was he commanding? Or which Battalion was he commanding? All these are later day imaginary inputs. I read Why we struck over two decades ago and I read some reports from different archive and people who were in active service that time. Some of what people are quoting from the book Why we struck made it to look as if Ademoyega reviewed and made additions to the book. You cannot twist history. General TY Danjuma is still alive. Except he is advised to remain silent as elder statesman. He can never agree with IBB |
AmazingELixir:I read Nzeogu and Why we struck over two decades ago but I will never read IBB's book for personal reason and most of my set will never read his book also. IBB tried to avoid the truth by misrepresentation. The coup was not called IBO Coup by some northern military clique because of the planners but because of those executed. The key people in the IBO land that were supposed to be executed escaped. That was the suspicion. About 4 years ago they now manufactured imaginary names of IBOs that were killed. Those who were active in the military that time know all those imaginary names are coming out for political purposes. |
