SilvanusII: Then na pastor/imam dey chop una offering. Nothing like heavenly injunction to pay tithes and offering
Watermelon, coconut and tangerine. Makes sense. Attuned to water. With the exception of porridge and pigeon tho, these sacrificial items are near similar to what was offered Osun when I was at her festival. Fruits, sweets, biscuits and money. Apparently, river dieties love sweet things. I don't know about imam but there's no pastor that will tell you that God is coming down to consume the offering. It's only in the world of babalawo you will hear that the gods are coming to jolly. |

ichuka: Sow,when not led to do so? You guys always think God is BaBa Ijebu or NairaBet that when you give 1k you make 1m. How much did Job sow during his first stage and second in the bible? You think God's blessing is all about money? It could be in the area of security, health etc. I can categorically tell you that Job was a faithful thither. How did i know? The bible says (1) Job was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. Being faithful with your tithe was one of the ways to know you know you fear God in the old testament. (2) Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom. (If he can sacrifice a burnt offering then he can do more for tithe which was a tradition in the old testament. (3) One of the benefits of a tither is that God said in Malachi 3:11 that he will "prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” and Satan confirmed this when he said “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. Tithing is not a comment from God, it is a command so therefore, you don't need to be led. |

According to the Bible, if as at this time that you are earning 15k, you are struggling to be faithful with your tithe, even if you earn billions, you still wouldn't be faithful. As a matter of fact, this is the best time to sow. |

zeebami36: 2. My husbands aunt likes to visit a lot of churches around the country. One day when we went to visit her with my mother in law she gave us bottled water for drinking (apparently purchased from a church) and moulded clay sand that she said the pastor had prayed over and I should use the sand mix in my bathwater to shower like naaman in the Bible our problems will be over. I collected it so as not to offend her. When we went home I went about my normal duties, my mother in law opened the water drank out of it and gave me to drink and I took some not knowing that it was the 'anointed' water that it was not my usual water, later in the day my husband threw the sand away as we were driving around through town. That same night I dreamt that I was upstairs in a house I didn't recognise on a bed, then the door opened and a person with an unrecognizable disfigured face stood at the door and blew plenty of sand from their hand on me the way the sand felt on my body I woke up with fear and my eyes shut tight. I just prayed no weapon fashioned against me or my family will prosper and went back to sleep without opening my eyes. My husband hearing how I woke opened his eyes and said he saw an ugly figure with long arms like legs and long legs in our room wobbling away from the bed. He didn't want me to be afraid so he didn't say anything. Since that period in our lives our businesses slowly came to a standstill and things are not working? Please can you help me with a little more clarification on these things I have written. Thank you and God bless. This doesn't require interpretation as you can clearly see the effect of the "assignment" from church. What your family need now is deliverance in order to destroy the negative effect of it. |

I had a revelation where I was been shown salt carefully arranged on sharp grass.
Sir could you help help with the interpretation? The Salt there represent you and salt is something that adds value, something that preserves as it is written, "You are the salt of the earth. But if a salt Lise's its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men" Matthew 5:13!!! Grass is something that is divinely provided; something meant to be maintained. So therefore, you have to be discipline, obedience lest the "salt" will lose its value and men who naturally should be looking upto you will make mockery of you and trample upon you. |

I end up seeing the assailants but they don't come to me cos I wake up almost immediately.
John well PROPHETmichael Any dream that repeat itself is prophetic in nature and God is telling you something. Terrorist attack, cultist attack etc are attacks that happens suddenly without notice. Pray against sudden attacks and also be mindful of your environment. |
Celebrities › Re: Chioma Obiadi's Open Letter To Donald Trump by PROPHETmichael: 12:29pm On Jun 05, 2017 |
nazanwannem: 40th and reigning Miss Nigeria beauty queen, Chioma Obiadi, out of her compassion for humanity has written an Open letter to United States president, Donald Trump on why and how puling out of the Paris Climate Agreement will affect the Niger - Delta region in Nigeria.
According to her, whilst climate change is still far in the consciousness of the Nigerian people, it is a step in the right direction which social actors like hers keep promoting. She also disclosed it is her dream that Nigeria becomes more green conscious, and that citizens work hard to preserve our beautiful country.
"It saddened my heart when I listened to the news few days ago to hear that the United States (US) will withdraw from the Paris Agreement on climate change. Although, we all know that China has recently surpassed the United States in annual greenhouse gas emissions, the US on its own has produced 27 per cent of the total carbon dioxide emissions of the world as at 2011.
The worry thing about carbon dioxide is that it stays up in the atmosphere for a very long time. Enough time to cause the damage we all try to avoid for ourselves, our families and our countries. Hence, the US is a very important country when it comes to reducing CO2 emission, protecting the environment and as a hegemony, take the lead in the movement of saving the world from itself in this discourse. Indeed, for many years, the US has continually reaffirm its leadership in promoting peace in the world and specifically promoting the need to safeguard our environment against global warming. Withdrawing from the Paris Agreement is a mistake and I urge you to reverse your decision.
Apart from the Kyoto Protocol, a pivotal moment was reached in Paris in 2015 when 196 member states reached a consensus to adopt the Paris Agreement. The Paris Agreement is an agreement with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) aimed at getting countries of the world to work together to mitigate global warming. Particularly, focused on enhancing implementation, Article 2 of the UNFCCC aims to (a) Hold the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels, recognizing that this would significantly reduce the risks and impacts of climate change; (b) To Increase the ability to adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change and foster climate resilience and low greenhouse gas emissions development, in a manner that does not threaten food production; and (c) To Make finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions and climate-resilient development.”. According to Ban Ki-moon, “For the first time, every country in the world pledged to curb their emissions, strengthen resilience and join in common cause for the common good,”
Even Nigeria through our President, Muhammadu Buhari and the former Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, signed the Paris Agreement in 2016. Whilst climate change is still far in the consciousness of the Nigerian people, it is a step in the right direction which social actors like myself keep promoting. It is my dream that Nigeria becomes more green conscious and that citizens work hard to preserve our beautiful country. The social movement in the US has been a shinning example and I really plead on your leadership to uphold the positive identity of the US as the world sees it… A super power and a role model. Through the Green-Girl Project, I have tried and still trying to bring the issues of the environment to the consciousness of the Nigerian People especially seeing the degradation we experience.
The Niger Delta being a crucial area in Nigeria that requires significant attention is one of my main focus. I am indeed happy about projects like the Ogoni Clean-up and related restoration projects. However, I fear that President Trumps decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement will affect the involvement of American companies like Exxon Mobil who should be crucial to promoting the clean-up and other climate change issues in Nigeria. Exxon Mobil is at the heart of Nigeria’s economy as a major manufacturer and marketer of commodity and specialty petrochemicals in Nigeria. I want to see Exxon mobil increase its commitment to safeguarding the environment in Nigeria through its social investment project.
According to NASA, earth’s temperatures in 2015 were the hottest ever recorded. Rising temperatures and changing patterns of rain and sunshine are changing where plants grow, and in the case of our oceans, encouraging the proliferation of species that impact native ocean habitat. As ocean waters warm, they expand, causing sea-levels to rise. We are at increased risk of storms, droughts, and floods with communities at risk of their life and livelihood. This is all over the news everyday and it is by no chance “fake news”.
For this reason, I continue to urge people especially in Nigeria to do their bit to promote and safeguard the environment through little actions they can practice in their living space. At the same time, I urge you Mr President to take a bolder step than your predecessors to show your commitment to protecting the environment in the US and the world. I look forward to better action from your government, moving forward.
Climate change is already beginning to transform life on earth. We cannot change global warming in terms of where it is today but we can stop it before from gets worse.I agree with Former President Barack Obama when he said, “This is national security issue, it is not just an enviromental issue”. Hence, reaffirming your commitment to the Paris Agreement and other related commitment is not about the environment, it is about ‘putting American first’ and it is about saving the world. Be the super power you claim to be and walk your talk …lead by example. "
http://www.lailasblog.com/2017/06/us-pulling-paris-agreement-will-affect-niger-delta-miss-nigeria-writes-open-letter-donald-trump.html Attention seeker!!! Trump has told you and everyone who cares to listen that it's America first and you are here talking about Niger Delta. mizbride2be: Its sad the little Faith Is there, yet its not working. Maybe Life is what you set for yourself according to a friend. If God can not answer those little prayers one prays for years, its shows he's not interested in our prayers or he's not there.. How can he watch his own beg from people who make ways for themselves through wrong deed? Why cant he prove himself if he's there? Why would he wait for his own to suffer and loss hope and finally give up? Am not talking about religion here. Also take note: To every persistence problem there's a personality behind it. Until you deal with the personality, you will keep on questioning God. Finally, never make a mistake of saying God if you are there, prove yourself because God does not need to prove himself. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Like There Are Situations In A Man's Life That God Can Not Solve by PROPHETmichael: 10:16am On May 31, 2017 |
mizbride2be: Lately i've been thinking. Is like there are some situations in a man's life that God can not solve. Even when all human efforts, prayers, deliverance, fasting and all manner of spiritual activities are been carried out. Things still wouldnt Chang for better Sometimes, you watched your mate giving bride and getting good job, flirting around with different men, yet they ended up with good men who truly love and care for them. But you who' dont want to go that way, you put your trust in your God, while you struggle so hard, yet things cant work out for u. You believe in purity, trust worthy, faithfulness and you have good qualifications, well mannered, you're hard working, yet its you that things are not working for. Its you who could give all you have to show love to people you don't know, yet its the same who can not break forth Its you who could pray for people and they have a turn around , yet the same you who can not break forth.
Do you think God is really interested in what we do here on earth? Could it be he want us to struggle, get frustrated, get tired of him and give up? Are there situations in a man's life that God can not solve no matter how much we pour our love on him? Are there situations in a man's life That's beyond God's touch no matter how long we wait on God. I understand how you feel, we've all been there before where we think just the way you do. Imagine in the scripture, a woman came to Jesus and said to Jesus please deliver my daughter for she is possessed by demons but Jesus said no to her. "A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” Matthew 15:22-23!!! This woman must have thought that the reason Jesus refused to answer her is because he can't deliver her daughter and in-order to avoid embarrassment, Jesus has decided to ignore her but nevertheless she keep believing and trusting God for her miracle. David felt the same way like you in the bible in Psalm 73 because he didn't understand why a believer like him, a church goer, a prayer warrior, a chorister etc etc was broke and busted with full of struggles yet his mate who are unbelievers were prospering with nothing to worry about until he gets to verse 17 and his eyes were open.... "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end." 1 Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. 2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. 3 For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. 4 They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong.[a] 5 They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills. 6 Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. 7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity[b]; their evil imaginations have no limits. 8 They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression. 9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth. 10 Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance.[c] 11 They say, “How would God know? Does the Most High know anything?” 12 This is what the wicked are like— always free of care, they go on amassing wealth. 13 Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence. 14 All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments. 15 If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed your children. 16 When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply and it was too painful for me Take a few moments and meditate on Psalm 73 and you will gain enlightenment. |

edidiongmichael: What Happened To Me On Sunday Service In Church
What's your candid view on this?
Recently I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church's event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month. Honestly, I didn't see myself as a church worker because I've never been to their meeting before. I only play when they tell me to otherwise I stay at the congregation. Last Sunday, I wore a shirt with a suit trouser and a sandals to church, then I wasn't expected to tuck in my shirt with a sandals. When I got to church, the pastor ordered me out of the church to tuck in before coming inside and instructed the ushers to not let me in until I tucked in my shirt. The church was still on and I got so ashamed and embarrassed. Everybody's eyes were on me during that time.
As confused as I was, I angrily left the church that moment to another nearby church.
Then I started thinking, Do we really have to tuck in our shirts to show how holy we are in church? What do you think had prompted the pastor to order me out? Do Christians have a dressing code? Will I be judged on the final day for letting loose my shirt to church? What's your view on this? That was God testing you but you failed woefully. What would it have cost you to simply obey the instruction? Oh you were more mindful of the eyes looking at you. Mbok ka ke kpe okworoiko ubok |

4. Deflect Boko harm bombs. So many churches in the birth have been bombed by the Boko boys. If only pastors learnt ode-eshi ( bullet and bomb blocking juju) jazz from the holy spirit.
5. Turn atheists into believers. Jesus convinced doubting Thomas that he was not a ghost but a zombie. Jesus preached to many and turned them into sheep followers. Christianity Etc › Is It Possible To Have A Perfect Life? by PROPHETmichael(op): 7:09am On May 14, 2017 |
By all means!
In fact, that is the whole purpose of all the principles, precepts, promises, statutes and commandments in God's Word.
All of it is directed towards the noble of purpose of making your life perfect.
As it is written,
"The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me" (Psalm 138 :8 ).
Indeed, the Lord your God desires to make every arena of your life perfect.
But the way He makes perfect your exterior circumstances is by first making perfect your interior consciousness.
That is because circumstances are the children of consciousness.
Wherefore, perfect circumstances are the mere reflection of a perfect consciousness.
To the degree that you become perfect on the inside, your life will become perfect on the outside.
That is why the Lord Jesus said,
"Be ye therefore perfect" (Matthew 5:48).
As you read and apply the teachings of God's Word to your everyday life, your interior soul will move towards perfection.
And as your interior soul moves more and more towards perfection, the outer circumstances of your life will keep pace by also moving more and more towards perfection.
And the more perfect your life is, the happier in life you will be.
How ginormous is that?
That Bible life! ..........................................................................................................
"Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace" (Psalm 37:7). |
