Owoado:Unfortunately quite a number of those policemen who chase the road traffic Offenders are not doing it to apprehend the offender for the law to take its cause, but to extort what they can from the violator. |
ImmaculateJOE:Before SE and SS went Obidient, Benue and Plateau were first. Rest assured. The love for Peter Obi in those two North Central states is far more than the one Obi will ever find even among his people. If you doubt me, call anyone you know in those states. |
kennyz247:Not entirely true. Let's be objective and realistic. |
kennyz247:Sure. PDP and APC will certainly flex muscles in the north, especially north east and north west. |
Abdul05:These people as you can see are walking in respect of gubernatorial, Senate and reps candidates. It's expected because it's their state affair. If PDP and APC want to test their popularity for Presidency, they should conduct walks for the presidential candidates only and see. |
FreeStuffsNG:Owerri is not a state in Nigeria. |
Moh247:Just accompany him from Abuja to Kaduna (by road) and don't do it sneaking in and out of Kd, if that is your definition of gallantry on an important issue as this. |
jkpbestseries:Mind you they are not young too, but younger than the ones on ground and the ones warming up to take over. Gradually, starting with Obi and Datti the young can truly find their voice and standing. |
nairalandankrah:This issue is burning right in the public service. Anyhow dey do it, so long as it's humans that design it Nigerians will surely find a way around it. The only solution is to diagnose and address the root cause of the problem. How can someone only access less than 65% contribution upon retirement, and the monthly payment nothing at all compared to salary when in service? The pension law and its modus operandi needs review to meet the yearnings of the workers. Isn't it obvious already, that all workers want out of PFAs? |
oikirodah:All the pictures you tagged, they were OBVIOUSLY not at corporate events, in fact, all outdoors, not political and government gathering, little we have square peg solutions in round peg holes. SMH |
saintjimos:Don't know why they skipped the Minister of Petroleum (Buhari) to go ask for sack of Minister of state (Petroleum), can the minister of state make such decisions solely? |
post=115972352:The act is shameful. Desecration of traditional activities. But as it is explained, persons with interest are suspected to be behind the act. These people should ordinary not find the numbers of willing tools (youths as touts) to use to disrupt such important event, successfully at that but because we have had leaders that encourage the system (youths as touts) and reward them handsomely, it's sad this occurrence and more of it breeding insecurity won't stop, till the proper thing is done. Now ask yourself, have you been at forefront supporting those who fuel the blossoming of this societal anomaly, ask yourself? |
post=115969074:Show small sympathy by removing or at least replacing "proudly" with another word that shows you sympathize not just with the families of the slain and injured but with Nigerians who are facing insecurity daily. |
blazesam:Because you asked me to, (as if you think I do not know it already), there you have it- "the action of delaying or postponing something"- Oxford Languages Dictionary Definition of Procrastination. So I ask you, how does procrastination relate with our subject matter, is Peter Obi 'procrastinating' or the 'others' you referred to as those who couldn't and haven't solved the problems are the ones who procrastinated/are procrastinating? You should know that unlike in the past, even the not too far past of 2019 (elections) there's an appreciable increase in participation of enlightened people in the electoral process, therefore it will do Peter Obi no good to expect to retain the goodwill he currently enjoys if he continues to speak about problems without stating road map to solutions. If you don't get the angle the tweet about Atiku providing solutions is coming from I advise you look carefully and know it's still campaign strategy in favour of Atiku, in fact, go to the twitter handle and see the line of debate as it is. If I didn't like Peter Obi and haven't made personal sacrifices in support of I wouldn't take this time to engage on this issue. Because of time, I'll leave it here, once more, hoarding any solutions won't in any way do the campaign any good, not at a time others are explaining how they intend to tackle the problems,it's the practice everywhere, world over, even in our respective places of association where election of leadership hold. |
blazesam:I don't think this is the way to go. We all know (at least the sane ones, not those zombies) that we need to listen to solutions as we are faced with the problems already.. The blind feel it on daily basis, the lepers see it, even lower animals are not left behind as the problems of this country are so glaring.. Peter Obi discussing solutions does not in any way make him a loser, rather it portrays him as more prepared and fortified for the task ahead. Almost everyone can diagnose Nigeria's problems, but not everyone can solve it and that's the edge Peter Obi should present and I believe he can. His overwhelming acceptance is already an advantage, diagnosis of the problems and how the problems will be treated will make his campaign complete. Hoarding of solutions isn't wise at all. Check all over the world, especially in thriving democracies among developed countries, no candidate hoards solutions, they lay bare their blueprints, let's not misguide Peter Obi and start losing relevance and support as campaign progresses to general elections, please. |
colorsofrainbow:I just laughed too (now 2:30am) before reading your comment, also. Imagine the dressing, appearance, mood and atmosphere.. That's what APC has put us in and intends to continue,... looking confused, disorganized, unhappy and wrong! This is sad. The country deserves better. |
IboHausaYoruba:You have chosen to pretend not to see that the vote split as a result of Kwankwaso and Shekarau is basically from where APC+Tinubu and PDP+Atiku, are supposed to have as strongholds..(NW and NE), in the end, vote split will be to someone's advantage whose support base is organic and increasing by the day, I believe you know who, except you still choose to pretend. Lol |
TinubuThief:Cock and bull story. Always saying the suspect confessed. No matching strong evidence to corroborate the narrative. I feel terrible about this country. |
ObidientFC:Commendable. But thorough checks should be carried out to ensure it isn't bugged. This is because it's a gift, not because of the identity of the donor. No room should be allowed for eventualities. |
Throwback:Throwback again. But Keyamo himself just said Nigeria is not Lagos. Does that not send another message to Asiwaju's ambition too? |
Moh247:His presence would have had more impact than his absence. He'd have been briefed directly on issues affecting each state, not relying on some third party reports. And while one is making a case, overlapping issues can easily be detected and addressed better using his fatherly presence. There's always an atmosphere the presence of the President commands. His absence when security and economy of the nation will be discussed isn't one you should casually wave because of one bias or the other. |
Jashub:It is unfortunate, at such a young age. If he was doing drugs would the family and the community not have noticed? If the family tries to conceal it, the community sure wouldn't. The thing is that our country is in very bad shape yet majority are supporting those destroying the fabric because we tilt towards our biases of ethnicity and religion. |
decatalyst:There must be some scientific and religious explanations. While reading and going through pictures I (on a lighter note) imagined Vladimir Putin might have built underground channels that siphoned the waters away may be to some expansive deserts and he might have released gases that would stop rain across Europe along with his testing of nukes, lol |
Odidigboigbo:You got my point. Exactly. Rivers state as a matter of fact appears to have more scores to settle with Atiku, BAT, APC and PDP than any other state in Nigeria at the moment. |
Hahahaha More like expecting Amaechi and Wike to come together to work for the APC even after Amaechi's outburst over the primaries at an event in the state and his long silence. The duo can come together with their teams (because of politics and interest) but will that sway support from the people of Rivers state who are known to be highly independent, more so that their sons (Amaechi and Wike) were dealt dirty blows by the same elements who together projected APC that dealt their in-law GEJ and their daughters Patience GEJ and Justice Mary Odili dirty blows? Not to mention the funds from Rivers state allegedly spent in favour of the betraying elements.. |
seanwilliam:How much (in naira) do you buy PayPal funds ($) and Zelle? |
Throwback:Like I said, come clean and prove your identity. You keep dodging and is acting cowardly by hiding behind social media to claim identity you are not. Who says there aren't catholics supporting Asiwaju? I set out to prove your cowardly act and it's playing out exactly as foreseen. You could have made your point without starting with lies that you are Catholic... Next time be brave enough to not hide behind the veil.. For your information, I am not Igbo. I am not Catholic either. But by my national spread, I can get someone right before you anywhere you are in this country within matter of minutes, except if you are in a thick bush. I am still open if you quote me on dead thread where you'd have mass next, rest assured pictures of you and who I will send to verify will grace this forum, at least it will show how trustworthy you can be. Else, enjoy your behind the veil peeping. Am done answering you on this, you'll have my attention more when you quote me on dead thread with church address, time of mass. |
Throwback:You know you haven't hit the nail on the head. You said you are Catholic, now typing schools attended... and bla bla bla If you are truthful, you wouldn't be starting any statement with the line "I am a Catholic..." now you are asked to simply prove it by quoting name of your parish and which mass you'll be attending so that we can confirm (of course the world is a global village and it wouldn't take me much to get someone to meet with you and members of the church to confirm you are member) alas, you went all the way typing off point. So, you haven't proven you are a trustworthy person if you say you are Catholic and can't say let's meet in so so church before, or after mass. Pathetic. |
Throwback:Lol There are Catholics who are not Yoruba that support Asiwaju. But I have a question for you. If you're a Catholic as you claim and you are not hiding behind the veil of social media to assume identity that isn't true I dare you to quote me on a dead thread here and state the name of your church/cathedral,and when you'll be attending mass, I will be able to get somebody verify if truly you are who you claim to be. Are you game? Else you are pathetic liar and weakling. |
The only reason Rivers state will not go the way of Peter Obi would have been when either Wike or Rotimi Amaechi were on the ballot papers of their respective parties (PDP and APC). Now both feel used and dumped by their respective parties. Amaechi at an even in Rivers state complained about the primaries and has since become mute.. Wike is complaining and even fighting.. And the people of Rivers state who are known to also demonstrate mind of their own, and by now have seen the treatment meted on their sons are not people that a president in Abuja or their governor in Portharcourt can sway in desired direction, they know what to do. |
Onuigbodabere:There was a time rodents were said to have infested the office of the President a day he had to vacate the office for some time to allow for fumigation, no be APC naija be that? |
