Osumare2013: Pls sir...I'm just hearing dis for d first time. So, which areas are catchment areas for Funaab?Check JAMB brochure. Like UNILAG, they have Ekiti, Ondo etc. Go to FUNAAB website and check the enrollment, you'll see where majority of students admitted come from. |

Osumare2013: Ur chances are still good since u're yet to sit for JAMB. Just score as high as possible in Jamb and u're almost in.All universities have their catchment areas... But percentage of students to be admitted from catchment area in a federal university is low... So Merit still holds the ground. Check the JAMB brochure... |

kollykson: Can holder of NCE apply for computer in UNAAB?Yes if you mean Computer Science, you can apply as DE student but you must attain a minimum point(can't remember the minimum point now) in your NCE result to apply. |

Osumare2013: I don't think so...Insurance doesn't sound like a replacement for Accounting *just saying*it doesn't matter, if Insurance is under the college of Management Science or Social Science as they call it in other school. Since you're going to start from 200L. If your nd1 with nd2 has required courses for 100L Accounting in UNAAB. You can be admitted |

Maybe if you have 250+ in jamb and the least grade in your compulsory subjects is B3 plus having about 70+ in your post utme. Then you have a 40% chance. |

omowunmi2411: pls, am a commercial std and i want a course without maths. Is any available one at funaab. I have maths in my olevel but i don't want 2 do it in post umeI think maths is always part of d post utme questions in all the university for all courses. For management courses in UNAAB, you'll see many Economics questions in the post utme with few maths and English questions... Not upto 10 each. DON'T RUNAWAY FROM MATHEMATICS my dear in between I'm a maths student. |

Fynestboi: How do unab calculate their mark?Jamb 50%(jamb score / 8 ) + post utme 30%(post utme score*0.3) + O'level 20%(A1-6, B2-5, B3-4, C4-3, C5-2, C6-1) let say you have A1 in your 5 core subjects that's 30. You'll make it 30*2/3 which is = 20. I already write a computer program using JAVA to do this this simple calculations for you without any problem, saving you the stress. But I'm yet to publish it to a website because I want add more like predicting your chance of getting admitted. 1 Like |
