opendo21: Well just think deeply about it, follow your heart. I was at this stage too during service and was also writing the ICAN exams but I just didn't have passion for all those book-keeping stuff (sorry to all accountants, but that's how I see it) someone introduced me to the actuarial exams, I did a little research and that just clicked it for me. It's tough but very rewarding as you can work ANYWHERE in the world once you are a qualified actuary. Please, can you give ♍ƺ the link to the Actuarial Exams? Thanks |

Remember many are called but few are chosen. It takes the smart and strong to be among the few, while your companions are sleeping, keep on toiling through the night. Don't be lazy, you can achieve that dream and finally they say, it's never too late for prayers... #GodFactor is Needed! Add me up for accommodation. |
Osumare2013: The exam won't be postponed, note that. They probably want everyone to conclude his/her registration so they'll know the number of people coming for the exam. That'll enable them to know how to schedule the entire population within that 5days, probably 7000 candidates per day or more depending on the number of candidates coming for the exam. So, this can only be done after everyone has concluded his/her registration. You're right about this. |
You guys should just calm down for the post utme schedule stuff. If the schedule is not by weekend, they are likely to postpone the exam date. |

All prospective candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta for the 2013/2014 Academic Session are expected to check the University website for information on the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) Screening Test and Training as from 1st June, 2013. |
Jamb UTME is not the only criteria used in FUNAAB's admission process, your post utme score and O'level grade is also a criteria. So Don't give up if you don't score much(but 180+) in your JAMB UTME. Work hard on your post utme. Admission is yours, if you believe. |

I have to make this clear to those sending me IM on 2go, asking the same question over and over again. There is no official cutoff for FUNAAB's Post UTME. UNAAB uses Your Jamb UTME score + Post UTME Score + O'level Grades to process your admission. And there's no official date for post utme exam yet. But rumour has it that it may take place next month ending. |
Jordi: I got 185 diz yrs jamb and am planning on doin food technology in funaab...is dere still hope considerin dae chose 180 as dere cutoff mark 4 jamb last yrFUNAAB's cutoff is 180. You still have a good chance if you can score high in your post utme and your o'level is strong. |
Donkunxex: 187......accounting...waec gradesEntrepreneur Studies... |
I choosed funnab as 1st choice nd scored 208 in jamb wit olevel eng-b2,chem-c4,phy-b3,maths-c6,bio-c6.course is chemistry...ny hope 4 me
Yeah, just do well in your post utme... |
Don't be scared if your score is <200 but >180. If your composite score is 55+ you're assured of your course and if you have 50+ you are assured of a course unless you choose unaab as second choice. I had 196 in jamb last year, I chose computer science first choice, mathematics second choice, I was admitted to mathematics dept. Though I scored 64 in post utme and I have 3 distinction in my o'level. So don't panic, just keep working smart for your post utme. |
Abbey p: Scored 225 in utme and av mathc5,engc6,econA1, commB2,govtB3,a/cC5. Any chanceYour chance is high... Just do well in your post utme. |
Donkunxex: 187......accounting...waec gradesNo need to worry, just do well in yours post utme... I know a girl that scored 187 in jamb last year and scored about 68 in post utme last year and was admitted to study entrepreneur studies. Just work hard on your post utme. |
