In his article in Thisday, Dele Momodu, also known as Bob Dee, wrote what looked like an open letter to estranged friends and former business partners Don Jazzy and D'banj. Here's the link to the article:

MarcAnthon: And for the other guys that asked also, there really is no websites that I know of. And any scholarship you get has to be AFTER you have gotten admission. It works like this:
You apply to the school(s) first. Pick two, three or more schools. Some Chinese guys I met said they applied to 20 or more schools. That is overly excessive because you pay application fees for each application which is from $40 to about $200 depending on the pedigree of the school. At this point you may also want to hold off applying until you write your GRE.
Write GRE. Do your best to prepare well and get a great score. The score range that schools accept will vary depending on its pedigree and the course you want to do. After you get your scores, contact your department of interest via email and ask then if it meets their entry requirements. It's at this point that you may want to apply if it does so you don't waste your money.
Apply. You'll need to send your transcripts, recommendation letters and other docs over by courier or Nipost, so get your school to prepare it and be ready to mail stuff. They usually have application deadlines too, so don't be late. I would seriously ADVICE you apply to start in a fall semester. That is when the academic year begins and that's when they have monies allocated for funding students. If you apply for Spring semester (starting in January) you will hardly get any funding cos they'd all have been disbursed already.
Wait for them to get back to you, and if your application is successful, you are automatically considered (not offered) for whatever scholarships the department has. For most schools you don't need a separate scholarship application. If you don't get full scholarships you will most likely get a TA or RA position, and if not they may give you a small scholarship, like $1000 which qualifies you to pay In-State rates which is much more affordable. In which case after your first semester you should be able to secure a TA or RA position.

So you see it takes faith to start and it's rather expensive I most add - that's the downside, along with most masters program in the US being two year long programs. GRE, application fees, sending transcripts and docs over - it's expensive if you aren't currently working or has someone that can support, but at the end it's worth it. You'll get excellent education for free, or just paying a little cos like I said before I haven't met any masters student that paid his/her way through the program.

The school you apply to matters too(concerning funding) cos not all schools are rich. So check for the top 50 or so schools in the US colleges ranking http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/spp%2B50 But I must warn that the higher the school is in the ranking, the more competitive getting in will be.

Btw, there are also Nigerian scholarships like the Mobil and PTDF scholarships. You can also apply for those, but I think you still have to have admission before u can.
Thanks bro.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Or Facebook: Which Is The Best? by PtBlank: 11:57am On May 11, 2012

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BASIS FOR COMPARISON. THE PURPOSE NAIRALAND SERVES IS DIFFERENT FROM THAT WHICH FACEBOOK SERVES. PERIOD!!!
EducationRe: Masters Degree Program Aspirants Meet Here by PtBlank: 8:17am On May 11, 2012
MarcAnthon: Why don't you all take two months off whatever you do (that's if you even need that much time), write GRE, do great, apply to schools in the US and if you actually had 2:1 or better coming off undergrad and your GRE scores are tight, you can get full funding for masters in the US, or about 70% funding at least. Seek info about this and expand your horizons. Undergrad abroad may be for the rich but masters? No. I'm yet to see a masters student in the US who is paying for his/her studies. It's either you are on a scholarship or you are a Teaching or Research Assistant. You get your school fees paid and they give you money for upkeep every month end.
Masters in the UK requires money. About 20K pounds, cos all they want to do is collect your money. But in the US they really are interested in building you up and most of the schools are rich and have massive endowment funds.
Y'all don't limit yourselves. While a masters in the US is not the end of the world, it definitely will give you a good head start. So think about it, and seek more info. GRE is also doable if you know what you're doing.
Thanks for the information. Been doing a search on Google for this. Can you give us any website(s) where one can access the scholarship?

If an ordinary "OOU" Doctorate holder/ophthalmologist is valued at N50m, how much is a Full Professor at Ibadan, Ife, Nsukka or Unilag? I.diots! Let them not go and kidnap politicians o! angry
People like you should not be taken serious. Why quote OOU? So a PhD from OOU is inferior to a degree from Ibadan or Ife? Olodo. Apologist: that's what you are!

BusinessRe: A Failure At 40 by PtBlank: 7:29am On Apr 10, 2012
@40, this is really serious.

Plug the loopholes. Financial intelligence involves understanding how money come and go out of your hands. You have one stream of income but money goes out in several ways. You will most likely not break even this way. Please take time to STUDY The Richest Man in Babylon. Its a great book for attaining financial freedom. Study it and follow the instructions religiously. I hope it helps.

FashionRe: Should You Wear Your Suit With The Label? by PtBlank(op): 11:28pm On Nov 12, 2011
mikeywise:
why yall quick to jump into conclusion? IK is a tv personality, how are u sure he is not advertising for a particular designer?
So if he's advertising, how do you see what he's advertising? Can you tell the designer of the suit he's wearing up there? The fact is the label is meant to identify the designer of the suit and should be removed after purchase.
FashionRe: Should You Wear Your Suit With The Label? by PtBlank(op): 11:51am On Nov 12, 2011
In a recent interview I attended, the HR guy blasted one applicant for having his suit label on and stretching his arm forward for him (the Head of HR) to see the designer of the suit. Very embarrasing.
FashionShould You Wear Your Suit With The Label? by PtBlank(op): 12:36am On Nov 12, 2011
Now this has got me thinking: Is a suit supposed to be worn with the label around the wrist or is the label supposed to be torn off? Methinks the label should be torn, but when you see people you think should know wearing it the wrong way, you begin to have a rethink. Check out IK's picture below (suit label on left wrist) and see what I'm talking about. Is that how it should be worn? No offense intended pls!

BusinessWhat Business Can I Do With 200-300k? by PtBlank(op): 5:24pm On Aug 29, 2011
Hi Folks,

Please I need answers. What profitable business can someone do with 200-300k? I've had my fingers burnt in a couple of ventures but I hope to get it right this time around. Yeah, I understand business is all about risk taking, but I just want your opinion to guide me in making a final choice. I've been thinking about commodity trading lately but who knows, someone might come up with a better advice. God bless.
