From the OP's initial post, I do not think he will make a better CCR because he didn't really state what the problem was. Some useful tips when you call customer care:

1. Do not use hands free. You will most likely be inaudible.

2. Do not use loudspeaker. Same reason as 1.

3. Its OK to be angry, but please state clearly what the problem is.

Some issues of cant call or can't browse could be generic. In such cases, affected sample numbers are forwarded to the appropriate quarters for prompt resolution & you might not get an immediate solution. Isolated or peculiar cases could be resolved on the spot

For missing airtime, most times you guys call immediately it happens and the best an agent could do is to pacify you and ask you to call back since that event has not been uploaded on the system.

Were you able to access the internet with the in-built 2G SIM slot without a MODEM?

matrixme: The BemaTel tablet phone is a 7'' Android 4.0.4 (Ice cream Sandwich) tablet. It comes with 1 gig internal memory, both front and back cameras. (Unfortunately, the back camera quality was not stated, but I'm guessing 3mp). The battery life is great (they promised 5-7 hours). It comes with both SIM and memory card slots unlike many others like it. Though the SIM slot is 2g, yet it can access 3g network through a modem with a cable that comes along. I have used MTN Huawei modem to access 3g on it today. Comes with 2 USB cables (1 for modem and another for system sync), earpiece (though not very excellent quality, but that's a negligible point) and a charger. I purchased it recently online at their website (I was fortunate, seems a promo was on then for #20,000) I think it goes presently for less than 30k still (price varies with cover and keyboard respectively). The good thing about it is that they send it via DHL to state capitals under 24 hours, for free (yes, I meant that!). Here is the marketer website

I bought a Bematel (Andriod) Tablet just over a month ago. It's a 7" device. Quite unfortunately, I woke up yesterday to discover it would boot past the Andriod Logo. All effort to get the device back to life has been futile. It's actually my first andriod device as I have been on RIM's Blackberries all the while. I just need advise if anyone else ever encountered such.

@ 30, I guess I still have much to do. Presently I have 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 10. BTW, what does HNI membership mean? My main target now are numbers 3 and 5, in that order.

Abule oshi: In all this plenty talk,i didnt see anybody complain of CNSSL or the fact of MTN use people for slave labour. Guess you guys are all excited to leave the unemployment market. Is it not the same CNSSL/MTN nairalanders blasted for using people for cheap labour? Just one person asked about salary, mayb some of you are so excited and be willingly to work for free. Make una no come hear to open thread to cry and vent una anger wen your expectations are not bin met. Cos i know it will take 6 months of budding nd all that before you start smelling the 80k base salary for CCR,80k base if you just work your regular shift,no overtime atall!

You are right bro, I think people should not be too excited so that they won't be too disappointed. The base salary here is grossly about 60k and it comes with lunch everyday, this is however upgraded to about 80k when you are confirmed after six months. But what I like about the job is that its like a part-time job, so I have plenty of time to do other things.

You work for 4days & 1 night every week. Day shift is 6hours while night shift is 12hours. I do web design and also supply science laboratory equipment to secondary schools & trust me, there's plenty of time to do this!

So guys while hoping to work as a CCR, think of other things you could do with your spare time cos you will have plenty time on your hands.

You guys should note that the whole recruitment process might not be as fast as you think. I wrote aptitude test in Ilorin in September 2011 and did two other stages of interview within the following two weeks. Eventually we were called around may 2012, so it might not be as fast as you think except CNSSL has changed.

Budding is a process where you learn your work applications in groups with someone who is more experienced on the job. For the training, you are taken through courses like GSM Architecture, Quality Assurance, MTN products & services, customer service series and so on. You will write 3 assessments during the training and your average score should not be less than 80, but its easy sha.

annabee: Training is done in batches. People who havent been called would still be called. Training is usually 3 weeks.

Training is 2 weeks and not 3weeks, and budding takes place immediately for another 2weeks. I work with CNSSL here in Ilorin, doing MTN customer care job.

Talking about local TV coverage, I did my IT at NTA Ibadan some years ago & I remember very well how we were chased away by fans with stones while preparing our equipment to cover a crucial match between Prime FC & Sunshine in Oshogbo. Taiwo Ogunjobi was also present at d stadium & he advised us to leave when the fans started throwing stones and sticks. Fans are also part of d problem.

Mine was aboard Aero Lagos to Accra. Smooth flight. No hassles. Left Lagos at 7.30am 9ja time, arrived Accra 50mins later. One lady (in para-military uniform, can't remember which one now) insisted I had to go check in my hand luggage when she sensed I wasn't going to give her money, had to give her d naira I had left on me to avoid delay. Joomla has over 8000 modules & plug ins. You can download some of them for free while some others are available at not-too-expensive prices.

For your templates, you can try themza.com but bear in mind that hundreds of thousands of users are also downloading these templates, so you'll have to tweak to make it original. Personally, I use Artisteer Generator to design my templates from scratch to ensure originality.

Fhemmmy: Another good business is buying Blackberry phones in bulk and reselling . . .
Can even start with only 250K Naira and turn that over every 2 weeks and if you know what you doing, you should be able to make like 3K or more on each phone . . . .
