Sorry about this toyclicks. Salford, right? I received an offer for the same course but decided to wait to see how the pandemic pans out. If you're still keen on FinTech, you can check out the module at TeessideUni. All the best. toyclicks: Today wey I receive my CAS my school just dey tell me say na so 2 kill 16, 14 come remain
A few hours after they told me I will receive my CAS tolday, I was told the course director abruptly resigned today, so they will have to discontinue the course (FinTech). They are saying I will have to chose another course. I can't even think of a course that is close now My brain is not even booting atm I don't even know whether I'm angry or confused |

Since you have already stated JavaScript, stick with Node, its JavaScript for the backend. When you're comfortable with that and have built some projects, you can decide to learn Python later |

Okay bro TheGuyFromHR: The excerpt referred to electronic statements. When you generate an electronic statement from the GTB internet banking platform it comes pre-stamped and signed. It says nothing about stamping of physical documents, so perhaps your bank's procedure will suffice. Or, ask them to stamp all pages for you since you want it for visa purposes. |

Noted, thank you! dduchess90: Hi,
Try informing your bank that it is for your UK visa application, and insist on having all pages stamped rather than just first or last page.
Better safe than otherwise.
Cheers |

The last part says all the pages must be stamped, did your bank do that for you? In my experience, the banks always insist on stamping the first and last pages. Will this be a problem if only the first and last pages are stamped? TheGuyFromHR: Yes, you can, as duchess90 has confirmed. I did so with my GTBank statement. Here's the relevant extract from page 20 of the document at the link she cited:
"If you wish to submit electronic bank statements from an online account, these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, you will need to provide a supporting letter from your bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided. Alternatively, an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement". |

I was going to type this. Lagosismyhome has been so helpful here and because she expressed a different opinion, some are ranting hosey: Why do you guys all join forces and castigate someone because they oppose your opinion.
If someone disagrees, understand and move on.
This need to change. So childish. |

Be careful. A desperate agent may give you fake visa. Be very careful BiolaOmowaye: Try to read it again and understand. I’m not paying anything until they approve my visa. I will see my visa before making payment. |

Congratulations on your offer. Did this come with any scholarship or fee reduction? I also applied for Fintech at Teesside. toyclicks: Thanks to @Mamacajah @Skymoore @SegunWamiri @Mimilyrics and all who gave advice on this my choice of Management/FinTech issue.
Salford just replied me a mail that FinTech has been approved and I have been given an offer letter.

Hi Tobexin, do you have any idea if the Financial Technology programme at Teesside is accredited. I tried to verify on their website but couldn't find any such information. Tobexin: It been a while I have commented on this platform. I have been very busy here in Teesside University and I have been trying to adjust to the new way of learning out here. Anyways I will be dedicating some couple of days to reply any nairalander that wants to come over to Teesside come Sept 2020. Like I said the mail attached to this moniker is not functional. You can post all your enquiries here and I will find time to answer all. |

How do you determine if a course is accredited in a particular school? SyberKate: Guys please, please I'm in a dilemma.
So far I got the following offers but can't decide on which to accept.
1. University of East Anglia, good ranking(top 20ish), gave £4000 fee reduction, but I don't like their course modules. Course not accredited
2. University of Greenwich, decent ranking(top 60ish), no fee reduction yet, love the course modules + course is accredited by a professional body
3. University of Hertfordshire, decent ranking(top 70ish), no fee reduction yet, love the course modules + offer placement. Course not accredited.
Please who has good ideas of these universities should help me decide. Thanks |

Log in anytime after 11pm. You may be lucky to get an earlier date Funmi27: Hello House,
Please i would like to make this enquiry. I was denied the F-1 student visa in the 20th of Nov nd my program is stated to commence dis Spring so I reapplied for another appointment but the date i chose due to available dates is d 3rd of January of which my program commences on the 13th of January while the students orientation starts on d 6th of January.
My main question is, is it safe to stick to the appointment date of 3rd , January knowing dat my school’s orientation program starts on the 6th of January nd ts compulsory for international students or i shld cancel d appointment nd wait reapply for fall 2020?
Your feedbacks will be appreciated! |

If you already have an appointment, as long as you haven't cancelled or rescheduled on that receipt before, you will be able to reschedule to an earlier or a later date if you wish. Check the tabs on the left once you login, you will see 'cancel appintment', 'reschedule appointment' and other tabs, just click reschedule appointment. If you want earlier dates, login around 11pm or later. Note that you can only reschedule once. psychologyshuby: Hello..how were u able to check for availability dates since you have an appointment already..please reply thanks |

Hello, I have an appointment date for 2nd week in December but I logged in now and noticed that there are earlier dates. However, attached is the message that pops up on my dashboard. The 'Reschedule appointment' tab is active. Does this mean I'll have to pay another receipt fee if I try to reschedule?
Note: I haven't cancelled any appointment before

Good morning nairaland,
I sent someone to the bank to help pay my visa application fee. When he sent me the receipt, I noticed that there was an error on my passport number. It starts with A0 but AD was typed on the receipt, every other detail was correct. So I told my friend to go back and show them the error.
The lady who issued the receipt at the bank acknowledged it was her error and apologised, however, she said another receipt cannot be issued and insisted that the error doesn't matter and that there have been cases like that with no issues. According to her, the most important thing is the receipt number which I need to book an appointment. Has anyone had this kind of experience before? Is she correct? |
