hv been around sha.
are u on whatsapp?
All this fight in SA how are u coping?
No, I don't use social media lol.

As for what's happening here, I'm coping well because my city isn't part of this foolishness. It's business as usual for us. In fact, I didn't even know there were attacks until I saw it here on Nairaland. I do hope it ends though. Our celebrities & govt people have also taken a stand, urging people to stop this madness. We now have tv ads saying no to xenophobia & I hope those that are involved, get the message. Time will tell.

clearly Ayanda here has got fish brain.
can you read well at all... I said if we haer this often of celebrities being killed, how much more people who are not celebrities who get killed and no one hears about them. ... what does that tell you?

There is nothing positively new about South Africa dearie, the latest right now all over African and International media is the way you people are once again displaying your bestial traits for the whole world to see.
Btw: you are no more interesting ....
You just became uninteresting too for your lack of parsing information written to you in black ink. I don't have the patience of a special education teacher so, so long.

Btw, you might want to put more focus on your own backyard 1st, before your eyes start to wander MILES & MILES away. That's what intelligent people do. This throwing of stones when you live in a glass house is rather amusing & foolish. No South African concerns themselves or even cares about what issues you have but here you are beating your meat on a country whose issues are none of your damn business. Fix the lagoon & whatever other issues you have before playing judge & jury on South African issues.

I'm done with you. Dismissed.

well I don't know how that will come about. with the way things are going.. very soon anc will be thrown out of power
I believe it will, in time. We've already made strides here & there. Rome wasn't built in a day, mind you. As for the ANC, South Africa conducts a free & democratic elections. We don't do coups, meaning if the ANC Is thrown out of power, it'll be because the people wanted it out of power.

lol... I am beginning to really enjoy this discussion, you sound like a really interesting girl.
Are you trying to justify your endemic rape problems by "properly reported stats?" grin grin grin lipsrsealed lipsrsealed ... Who killed Dube or Senzo meyiwa the Bafana keeper? and those are the popular people.... now imagine how many cases go unnoticed per day in Mzantsi. .... even Oscar pistorious mentioned it, that he felt insecure and murdered his girlfriend because he was aware of how unsafe South Africa can be to live in... haha I am laughing in IsiXhosa here.
Pertaining to your other statement, Well then, stop talking when people accuse black South Africans of being lazy opportunistic people, waiting for government handouts. ..... remember, this discussion came about because you quoted me when I said Nigerians are proud and self made Africans?... for now South Africans dont belong in that category.... our grandchildren will be discussing this very same issue in year 2,150.
When we give murder stats, does it only reflect the number of celebrities killed? Come on man, scam someone of a brain, will you? I'm enjoying this discussion too, because it's entertaining talking to someone who thinks they are smart when in reality they aren't. Sadly the excitement is short lived because it lacks intellect but is rather full of regurgitation & recycled garbage.

Now bring up a new issue about South Africa, one that I haven't heard from you people a million times already or you'll become uninteresting to me in 5, 4, 3...

Well it is not. (that is the answer to your question)
But every 5 seconds, a woman is raped in South Africa....... now, that can't be swept under the carpet!

and oh.... you still haven't mentioned when you will be getting back that "economic power" ... the world is watching, Ayanda.
That's only because we report these things, unlike a country where there are no real stats. Took you years to even rebase your economy.

How & when black South Africans will gain back their economic power is simply none of your business. Don't you have your own issues do deal with instead of poking your snotty nose where it doesn't belong, Obi?

You say Blacks will get he economic power back, but statistics show otherwise, infact the level of national black income in SA compared to white households has barely changed since 1994!!, inequality is still increasing, yet you claim on claiming economic power in future, how can you control an economy without the power to Land access? every person who passed through the four corners of school knows that Land is one of the most basic units of production. ha..... these people are jokers

btw: Is rape the national past time among black south Africans? ... just wondering.
Is scamming while feasting on human flesh yours? I'm wondering too.

Ahahahaha...Listen up Bongani, Nigerians are the proudest of Africans, and we are a self made people okay.... everything being achieved here is a black man's handwork. I am more proud of Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Lagos, University of Ghana etc, even if they are not in the African top 10, than U. Witwatersrand or UCT, where you can count the total number of blacks entering the school in an entire year..... What is the matric pass rate of BLACKS in SA, Bongs??
You are talking about makoko slums, like SA does not have it's own handful of slums and shacks to handle..... don't let me start listing them, save us all the preaching and "holier than thou" attitude..... If South Africans had the Nigerian mentality, black Africans would control at least 85% of the economy by now... #FACT
You don't seem to know South African history. Please read up on how blacks were living before the arrival of white people before you come here writing half-truths. South African blacks were self-made back then too, which made the whites jealous & land issues started. Black South Africans will get their economic power back in due time because it didn't take 20 years to take it all away & it certainly won't take 20 years to get it all back, unless you want them to get into "yahoo-yahoo tins" just like some "self made" people we know *ahem*

Thanks, I'll google it now.

That's the problem with all these black leaders, they're all birds of a feather, and it's difficult to celebrate any of them fully - cos they all have skeletons in their closet.

Mandela - we can celebrate him for leading a struggle and going to prison for 27 years. But no sane person will celebrate him for the deal he got when he came out of prison on behalf of his people, despite the fact that the apartheid regime was about to crumble - with or without him. He's primarily the reason why these folks are still barbaric and angry.

MLK - celebrate him for the civil rights movement, his inspirational/motivational speeches. But the fact that he never prepared black folks for survival after integration; how to maintain certain things in order to compete economically; how to protect their communities; and the way he allowed the Jews hijack that movement to their advantage, thus making them the biggest benefactors from it - is the reason why black diaspora is messed up.

Mugabe - great he took the lands back. But he's a d1ck as well, if the Ndebele thing is true.

Etc..
The Ndebele thing is true, Google Gukurahundi

Lol. So, Emperor Mugabe, and the last African Emperor, who I have got the utmost respect for, isn't also a saint after all? shocked

I've always wondered why the Zimbabwe Ndebeles that I know always claim South Africa, when it's obvious they aren't from there. Now, I know better. I definitely need to do extensive reading on that.
Yeah, they come from South Africa but ran away during Shaka's rule. Google Mfecane.

The Ndebele people don't like him & they have horrific stories to tell. I know a girl from Bulawayo so I know about how he treats them over there but look at him now, white knighting, as if he's any better. Hypocritical old fool.

This is laughable coming from a man who ordered the killing of Ndebele people in his country, for being foreigners. Ndebele people are still being treated horribly in Zimbabwe because they're not from there originally. He believes Zimbabwe is only for the Shona people & yet here he is clicking his dentures talking rubbish.

Oh ok. But their programming is a little different & they tend to repeat the same shows throughout the day, worse than DStv. Shrugs. I tried it but it wasn't satisfactory for me, only thing I liked about Startimes are the Telenovelas

I saw those ,some are downloaded from horror movies...the insults here are annoying and are made by clueless people..
And the most hilarious thing is that they'll expect you to know the answers to this madness & try to guilt trip you over other people's crimes for the simple fact that they happen to be from the same country. I for one will NEVER take responsibility, feel shame for a crime I didn't commit. I don't care if that makes me come across xenophobic or whatever. I'm not guilty, no shame & I don't owe anybody a jack diddly squat over what is happening here.

hence those foreigners in the US are in that country legally, are not doing criminal activities and for doing those jobs they don't call Americans lazy...the people we are talking about are not bringing anything to our economy,in stead we are sharing our limited resources with them, can you tell me one country having over 6 illegal immigrants?only SA...here is something to digest

our former heavy weight boxer was shot and killed by illegal immigrants in Pretoria 2 yrs ago

our well known reggae musician was shot and killed by foreigners

1 month ago foreigners were caught on the National television camera robbing a presenter

killers of our senior national foot ball team are untraceable....

i know you and your fellow country men dont want to hear this, xenophobia in SA does nt come out from the blues, you must be grateful that majority of south Africans are against these attacks..
Did you see the pictures they posted of people looting shops? Did you see how many South Africans stood by folding hands & not participating in the crime? And yet some come here & accuse all of us of these things. I just don't get how some reason here.

Some of the things Buhari said were nothing but campaign promises.
Anyone who believes all that, will believe anything.
Yeah, like the majority who fell for those "fantastical" promises & voted for him. THE MAJORITY hence he won.

I cannot speak on behalf of people I do not know. Maybe you should ask them since sound very curious.

After the free gifts from your government people still go out to blame African immigrants for unemployment and for their miserable lives. That is laughable of ignorant and senseless South African like you.
Hey listen, before the influx of foreigners South Africans ran thriving small businesses such as salons, spaza shops etc. In came the foreigners bringing the same services but for a much cheaper price, it's a no brainer that the people will go to where it's cheaper. Meaning that those that ran businesses before, lucked out. Tough. I still don't think it's enough excuse to go out attacking people though.

Btw, DO NOT insult me if you expect me to be civil with you or even acknowledge your mentions. I will dismiss you because I'm in no mood for this today. Hope we're crystal clear.

I guess you read the tweets of guillible people in Nigeria.
Nigerians are hardworking people both in Nigeria and abroad.
Have you ever wondered why they're the majority of people taking your so called "jobs" there?
Keep ranting and patting yourself in the back for being lazy and a xenophobe.
We have our problems, but lynching foreigners to death because we feel threatened, is not one of them.
Then you all must be gullible if you voted for a man that's promising you a parasitic future. Didn't Buhari promise he'll give monthly allowances to some of you people?

Yes, I'll keep patting myself in the back for the things my govt is providing to it's people because that exactly how it's supposed to be-to provide for the needs of the people.

I known many Nigerians operating big businesses employed black SA as waiters and cleaners , Above all foreigners been attacked are owners of small scale businesses and jobs . Which jobs have they taken?I have never seen black SA barbers or operating saloon!why can't he try Laziness won't allow he want to drink 24hours and blame foreigners who are operating businesses
You have not seen black South Africans operating hair SALONS & barber shops? So where do you think we did our hair before the foreigners arrived? Sometimes some of you are so illogical it's not worth even responding to some of the crap.

A SALOON is a boozing place, btw. I'm just saying.
