shumuel:Oh, gotcha! You should get into relationship counselling, I see you have a passion for it. Are you married or in a relationship? Hope I'm not being intrusive, btw. |
shumuel:I'm not quite understanding the last line, What do you mean? |
shumuel:Sometimes, yes. Marriage definitely isn't for everyone. It can be very suffocating at times. But fortunately for me, my husband is not up my ass 24/7. He has a life of his own, which I appreciate very much. Wouldn't be able to tolerate a man that acts like I've adopted him otherwise lol. |
shumuel:Hahaha. He's an Aries so we're compatible lol |
Tashaamania:Looks can be VERY deceiving. It's like a peacock, pretty to look at but I heard underneath all of that there's fleas, lice or whatever. A friend of mine got married at 19 & she's now 28 I believe. Anyway, she's been carrying on this 5 year affair with another man she believes is her soul mate because he embodies the qualities that are important to her NOW. People change hence I'm stressing that young ladies out there should wait or they'll find themselves, years down the line, stuck in a nightmare. You will drift apart eventually I promise you. Waiting, wait, wait until you're 100 if that works for you. |
Justfollowit:Not early marriage but marriage in general. You can't deny that marriages are breaking up daily because IMO, people get into it for the wrong reasons. |
MzNelly: ![]() |
Truckpusher:LMFAO. It's because men don't listen well. If you make a request now, they don't usually do it AS IN NOW. IMO, men are procrastinators & it's annoying, hence the nagging. |
Truckpusher:Hence the divorce rate is sky high. People just aren't ready for it mentally & emotionally. Marriage is for mature people who have found themselves & know exactly what they're looking for in a partner. In your 20s the reasons are most often superficial & dumb. Later on I think that's when you're able to look beyond certain things & make better choices because you've grown. Less shallow & deeper. |
MzNelly:Not totally but I'd advise anyone to wait. If I can do a do-over, I'd wait until I'm 100% percent certain that this is what I want. Believe me, how you reason at 21 is very different from how you reason at let's say 30. You change. It's inevitable. Your choices change too lol. |
Tashaamania:It's nothing to be jealous about to be honest, because as a person you change a lot. You start to think that if maybe I should have waited a little longer, because marriage is not a stroll in the park & at a young age, most often, you're not equipped with the right tools emotionally to deal with the stress that comes with it so you may have regrets here & there. Plus let's not forget about "suspended childhood", because you decided to grow up too fast lol. It makes you feel like you've LIVED but not really lived if that makes sense lol. |
cherryice:Thanks, love ![]() |
ronald4lif:Hehe. The good ones get taken off the shelf fast 10+ years & counting. Married at 21 lol. |
Married. |
WTF @ scars? Who wants to be with Chucky? |
Nokiae5:No. Now bye. |
Lala247:Hahaha. |
Lala247:Both. |
Nokiae5:Do what? |
Somehow it looks so wrong lol |
kevinberry:I saw the message but I don't read them before I dismiss them. My prerogative. |
kevinberry:Maybe he's the impatient type & needed to know what he was asking urgently. Who knows? Btw, this has nothing to do with self worth because it's relating to something general. Please free the poor guy lol. |
kevinberry:In his defense, it was nothing like what you're thinking. He simply asked me a question. |
Beauty (Belle) & The Beast. Love that they argue but still respect, care & love each other. |
Tallesty1:LOL, I'm not even fighting though. I'm just a passionate speaker. Anyway, "surprise farts" I can understand but intentional farting is a no no. To me it's all about manners, being a gentleman or lady & that shouldn't stop just because we're official aka in a relationship. It's like saying please or thank you. Basic courtesy. You wanna fart, go fart somewhere! Too much comfort & no mystery is one of the relationship/passion killers imo. Keep some things private. That's all I'm saying. Btw, I do say I'm going to shìt too, only when I'm asked though, I don't just blurt it out like I have Aspergers Syndrome. He'll NEVER see me take an actual shìt though because that's private lol. |
Tallesty1:What does this have to do with watching romance movies? Didn't I just say *I* (ME) find it disrespectful & disgusting? Why would I want to smell somebody's fart anyway? We all have different comfort zones & *I* am NOT comfortable with someone tearing a fart around me. It's a turn off FOR ME. If that's cool with you then to each their own. It's that simple. |
Franzeez:Ok. |
Franzeez:Ok. Not trying to be rude but what is it about? |
These kind of things are passion killers for me. I find it disrespectful & disgusting. Just because we're in a relationship doesn't mean you must lack manners & turn into a gross pig. No nose picking or farting in my presence, please. Privacy is sexy. |
It'd would depend on WHEN the pregnancy happened. Was it when we were together or before we got together, because there's NO WAY I'm trusting him again if he got somebody else pregnant while in a relationship with me. End of. It's not even about love but health reasons. What sane guy goes around sleeping with different people without using protection, in this day & age? Love can go to hell, I'd rather be healthy. Meaning he has to go because he poses a risk to my health. I can't stand stùpid people like that. |
all4naija:I don't know. |
