Some of your people still poo in the open. There is no doubt it is one of the reasons Africa is full of diseases, including the overrated South Africa.

I've never shat in a bucket so I don't know what you're talking about. Bucket system is not wildly spread. It happens in less than one percent INFORMAL settlements. It's still much better than having citizens shyt out in the open & spread disease. Even with informal settlements, most of them have public toilets that are cleaned daily by the municipality. We don't do dirty. Sorry to disappoint you.

Aww, thank you. Most of us here are not bad or hateful people though, we just have strong views when it comes to certain topics & that might get misinterpreted wrongly I guess. If you read some of my posts you'd think I was hateful, because my nasty side comes out naturally when people start comparing countries & making mine look horrible in the process. It's simply patriotism on my part & nothing more.

I was born in a Christian family & my husband is Muslim. I fake converted because I don't take religion seriously & he also doesn't push me to practise the stuff he does. Basically, I'm still the same person I was, except now I follow a few guidelines when it comes to food & that sort of thing. Nothing major, really.

After marrying her would you expect her to change who she is for you? Like change how she dresses, expect her to go to mosque etc. I think you should discuss it together before taking the next step.

Anyway, to me it'd be a sign of low self esteem to be with an unattractive person just because I fear being cheated on. Our townships are not in squalor, btw. Waste is collected daily, we have electricity & running water. Townships have libraries, clinics, police stations, malls etc. So I really don't get why you think our townships are some residential nightmare. You're clueless about South Africa, my laaitie.

You obviously do not know what you're talking about. Even the biggest brain in the world cannot do all that it comes up with by itself, it needs somebody else to make the idea a reality. Once again, you can't come up here & say blacks had no hand in making South Africa what it is today when they did the actual physical work.

I don't know what you people think when you think of Apartheid. Do you actually think we were locked up in camps & cages ? Blacks may not have been of much relevance back then but it still doesn't change the fact that whatever South Africa is today, was is so because of the blood, sweat & tears of its black nation. It was built on their backs & since we cant go back to the past to claim glory for everything we did "backstage", while somebody else was at the forefront taking bows for something they didn't create, this discussion is pointless. However, it still doesn't change anything. Blacks made South Africa what South Africa is today. From the gold up North, to the grapes down South. We did it all. But unfortunately, most of it was through exploitation & powerlessness, hence now it seems like we didn't lift a finger. Ha! All is well.

Everything that you see, from up above the top of the tallest building, down to the paving covering our streets, are the fingerprints of a black South African man. So no, South Africa was not built by whites, South Africa was built by South Africans- whites with their blueprints & blacks with their capable hands. I'll even go as far as giving more credit to the black man for doing most of the physical work. So it's very ignorant of you to give credit to people who never lifted a finger & take away the glory from the people who are truly deserving of the praise. I'm not an expert but can you please tell me the difference between being gay & being transgendered? Because to me & I'm sure with most people, it appears to be the same thing. A boy acting feminine is often perceived as being gay. Shrugs.

I believe it's natural because there's this 10 year old little boy I know & he already "acts gay". All the signs are there, even his mom has made peace with the fact that he is not like other boys. All his friends are girls. He screams & makes sounds just like a girl, for the lack of better words. The boy is straight up girly. His mom says he started showing signs at a young age. At age 3 he'd ask his mom to tie a shoe with a towel behind his back, as if he was carrying a baby & etc.
