Mekzmoney: dnt tell us ur lov life story... its gud u kip dat 2 urself.. here is nt d ryt place to share it ma'am. Really? So people can share stories about fùcking their mothers, aunts & uncles but I can't share a normal relationship story? Crikey! How foolish of me to think this was the romance section where I can share whatever relationship experience *I* choose to share. Operative word being *I* & not somebody else. I done did it so sue me! |

tintingz: Don't tell me you don't like or enjoy the attention.
If it is someone like Dangote or Adenuga that called you and said he likes you will you be saying the word "disrespectful" "disappointed" here.
Women sha No, I don't "enjoy" the attention. Not all women go around looking for an ego boost from men. At least I don't need it to feel complete. Dangote is too old. Money doesn't impress me either. |

GhostProtocol: I could say the same for you, expecting any man, regardless of age, to ascertain whether or not you want to be approached, before you are even approached.
Like really though? Come on! Wearing a t-shirt is still an absurd idea no matter what you say. If a ring doesn't stop some men from pestering a female, what use would a t-shirt be other than making you look like you've gone off your rockers. Once again, come on now! |

We need less dumb ladies or better still do what you do best and act dumb and represent your team to the fullest.

Romance › Re: What Is The Worst Thing About Being Your Gender? by PunkyOh(f): 2:50pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
Only thing I don't like about being female is that most guys think they have a right to make a pass at you. Sometimes you're not even in the mood to tell them off. I find it very disrespectful.
Just yesterday I was at the store & this guy was infront of me at the till. He waited for me outside & called me to come to him. He was older, about my dad's age maybe so I didn't think any funny business when I went to listen to what he wanted. Thought he wanted to know directions or something. Was very disappointed at him when he started to say that he likes me lol. A man that age! Wonders shall never end. Disrespectful! |

But How how are you sure if he still have feelings for you? I know. I have a restraining order on him. He is psychotic. Everything turned fatal attraction after our final break up. I'm sure he'd chop me up into tiny pieces if he ever catches me lol. |

Hazardd: ok lol. From your description about him, i can sense that you still love.. You for hold am 'tight' na lol I thought he was the love of my life because we had a very intense but volatile relationship. It took me time to get over him & now I can honestly say, I no longer have feelings for him. |
Romance › Re: Describe Your EX by PunkyOh(f): 12:54pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
Hazardd: upon all this 'qualities' you still cheated on him No, I broke up with him because I just couldn't deal with his craziness amongst other things. He was in love with me no doubt, but he also didn't want to be in love because he fancied himself a playa, so he blamed ME for "making" him fall in love. We'd make up & break often. During the break ups he'd call me to tell me what a horrible cùnt I am, that he is happy with a new chick "with ass for days" etc, but just called because he to hear my voice. Kikiki. He made me miserable but I ended up not caring in the end because the roller coaster with him made me numb. His unstable obsession is what ultimately ended the relationship. |

It is a turn off especially when people don't know how to handle their alcohol well. Some even pick fights with their wives when drunk. Arg.
My neighbour's husband puts a capital A to alcoholic & the poor woman is always on her wits' end. One time he didn't return home & they found him in a trench covered with mud the next morning. He had fallen in & couldn't come out in his drunken stupor. Just pathetic. |

all4naija: Hahaha... You were possibly carried away with the romantic peice of the Ghanaian writer, living in fantasy land. There is no writer from Ghana, dead or alive, who can be compared with Nigerian Chinua Achebe. No its not a Ghanaian writer, I think she's British or something. It was not a romance book lol, it was a book suitable for young minds. But yeah, Achebe was a boss. |

all4naija: Smh... That means you like midgets! You don't know what you are missing by not having personal interest in Nigerian men the way you do to ugly Ghanaian men. It is your choice though. LMFAO. I knew you were going to mention midgets. Dude listen, every person has a thing they connect to, it's not even about men or anything like that. I've had a thing for Ghana even before I knew where it was or how it's people look. I blame a book we read in primary school for it. It kinda moved me. It's called Comfort Herself. It was set in Ghana. In high school we read Achebe, the Obi Okwonko book but it never quite moved me the same way. It's one of those unexplainable things. Achebe was a great writer, btw. Big ups for that. Such talent! |

all4naija: @ PunkyOh
Do South African black women really admire Nigerian men? LOL, I don't know. I have a friend dating a Nigerian guy though & they seem happy. It's 4 or 5 years now of them dating. They have ups & downs like any other couple, but I believe they truly love each other because they always get back together. I don't care who people date to be honest, if they're happy then kudos to them. It's not a dog, it's another human, so.. Personally, I like Ghanaian men I'd take one as a 2nd husband any day. Kikikiki. |

all4naija: Stop showing your impudence here. Nobody in their right senses is going to listen to you. The fact that your analogy makes you look childish is very patronizing of your very poor explanation of something you fail to understand. I am not going to pay attention to what sounds primitive in any ramification in this argument because you have no good points to back it up. Indeed, I would. I would want you to know that using the Russian doll to describe the difference between Township and informal settlement in SA is very discouraging to see. You forget the nestling dolls are usually inside the main doll which all of them are addressed as a doll. In other words, the dolls inside are view as part of the mother doll. Hahaha... I know you will still not get it - even when the fact of the matter is right at the tip of your nose staring at you. That is typical of South Africans, aberrant human beings as it has often be. The kind who would go out to attack others and claim it is their rights to do so. What more is worse looking at what is happening in Township from the xenophobic inclinations?
However, Townships were originally meant to be informal settlements or concentration camps set up by the Apartheid government to control the black people in their repeated attacks, which where usually barbaric as close to terrorism. The history of Townships can not be separated from informal settlements in the sense that it is the rightful origin of what they entails. There have always be such settlements meant for blacks before it turns into Townships. The word means large informal settlement in a nutshell and there is no opposite view about that. I have continuously try to explain that to you from the best of my knowledge in agreement with all information available online.
On the final note, you refuse to understand that squatter gives birth to Township in your post. It gradually evolves into what it is today. While there are some shafts within it and outside it - informal settlements have always been there not because the term is used for poor temporary housing but it is not meant for brutal blacks. The name was originally called concentration camp to distinguish it from the Nazi's holocaust settlement in some respect. You can cry all day long but it is not going to change the fact that it remains a home to poor South African blacks as a place of crimes, xenophobia and other evil vises that include high magnitude of r a p e cases. These are factors often times associated with Townships, a form of informal settlements. Kiss my ass then. I'm so done with you. Bye. |
